Mysterious Chocolate Cake

Today the first thing I did when I woke up was I washed my hair. I swear I have the most annoying hair in the world right now. It’s at that awkward length again.  

I had a pretty strange breakfast today. i had milk, chicken, and carmel, and cheddar popcorn from Costco. I am definitely NOT great at thinking up stuff to eat.

I read the sailor Moon manga for a while after this. My nieces were watching Redwall upstairs. If you haven’t read the book, or seen the TV show I totally recommend it.  I have seen it too many times, so it is actually really annoying to me now, but it really is a good show. My niece kayla watches it all the time.

Marcie, who usually picks me up every Sunday, and organizes the ward Family Home Evening activities every Monday, texted me at the last second earlier today before church and told me she couldn’t come. She then proceeded to warn me in advance that this is the way it is going to be for the next few weeks. I was really grateful to her for this.  I had to get a ride from my dad because it was already almost 12:40, and everyone had most likely left for church. We usually have to drive at least 10 minutes to get to the building to get to the Young Adult ward.

First hour was about faith, I also did some scripture reading.

Second hour was about Alma 30-32 in the Book of Mormon. I accidentally got too comfortable in class and fell asleep. This week this guy named Trent taught the class. Trent has a very loud voice and this is usually why I end up going to his class when he teaches in the second hour because it’s not easy to sleep through it when Trent is talking.

Third hour was sacrament meeting. I just did the usual. If you know what happens in an LDS sacrament meeting I don’t even need to explain. I have done that a few times before on my blog.

After church I got a ride from Michelle, she takes me to church sometimes too. I have probably mentioned her a few times.  We mostly talked about what our favorite things to do at 7 Peaks water park are.  

I watched more Sailor Moon for a while after this and then went upstairs and surfed facebook for a while on my phone. I saw this picture of a watermelon carving on there and showed it to my niece Natalie. Natalie got a real kick out of it, she had never seen one of those before. I showed her a few more off of Google image search after this.

After this I ate spaghetti for dinner and surfed the news section on Crunchyroll.  I then had a lazy half an hour before going to ward prayer. I was watching some dog sled competition documentary with my nieces, and sitting in weird positions on the couch. Sometimes I do this weird thing where I sit completely backwards on the couch with my feet in the air and stuff. It’s fun sitting the opposite way on the couch sometimes.  

I went to ward prayer after this. Someone sang a song and someone gave a spiritual thought. I did learn something today. There is this store called Winco over here, apparently they have real bees in the store that people just go there and get honey from. I thought that was interesting. I really like Winco, they have those big barrels of candy and stuff. I went there with my brother one time when the power went out once. I got to ride on a scooter for the first time and I bought some candy and pretzels over there.  I think it was back in May or something, before I came back to Xanga, and blogger and blogging in general. At the beginning of ward prayer I actually started to talk to one of my friends, but we got interrupted because it started. I didn't really get to talk to her, but I am planning on posting on her wall later. I'll probably do it after I post this.

We had this chocolate cake stuff that was kind of cool. It had like a layer of dark chocolate stuff on the top, and then there was the cake part, but the coolest part was the pudding like stuff that was inside. At first before you taste it it looks like part of the cake almost, or like the inside of a truffle. It tastes like truffle kind of, but has the texture of pudding. I thought it was really cool. I should have gotten a photo of it.  I was so busy enjoying it I didn’t even think about it.  They also had peanut butter and chocolate cookies. I wish I had the recipe for the cake.

I went home after I grabbed another one of those. My mom and dad were watching the finale of the bachelorette I think when I got home.  

Anyway, here I am now typing this. I think this is all for tonight. If anything else happens I'll edit.

Strawberry Cake

So today was my niece's birthday. We just ate dinner, it was chicken, salad, and potatoes. My sister made a Strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. I just let myself go off my diet for this one meal today, it usually doesn't effect me unless if I do it too much.  We put sparkler candles on her cake, it was funny watching her blow them out. My niece turned 10 today, it's really weird because I still remember the first day she came home from the hospital. She had Jaundice and we had to put her under this special light to help it go away. I was 12 years old, and I was totally new to the situation of having a niece or nephew. I thought it was really cool, I remember I always wanted to hold her whenever I could.

We went out to lunch today at this resteraunt named "Los Hermanos". it's a Mexican Resteraunt, a really great one. I was still following my diet at this part of the day so I had to be careful what I ate though. I got a fajita and just ate the chicken, onions, tomatoes, and beef that was in it. It tasted amazing, I kind of wish I had been able to eat normally though. If I had known earlier in the day before we left that we were going there I would have not took my HCG drops at all today so I could eat normally. I didn't take them before dinner which is why I could eat normally. If you take them and eat normally and it's something that is not something you can eat it makes you gain weight.

My niece ate this really big enchilada meal, we didn't think she would eat the whole thing but she did. Both me and my sister were surprised. We also got her a specialty drink, some kind of raspberry smoothie like drink with whipped cream on it. At some point some of the waiters came and sang happy birthday to her. Usually when it's your birthday you get fried ice cream. I LOVE fried ice cream, it hurt a little to see her eat it without me ha ha.

After we ate we headed over to Kohl's to go shopping. When we got there my niece and my sister went to go look for a watch, I just went off on my own to look around. I went all over the store and looked at purses, clothes, jewelry, and a few other things like bedding. I was thinking of buying this rainbow bedding set I really liked, but I changed my mind because it was kind of expensive.  I ended up getting this stretch ring that is silver, and has all these colorful stones on it, it's really pretty. I did't buy anything but this. I am kind of low on money right now so I have to be careful how much I spend. Sometimes I get carried away and spend too much at the beginning of the month.  I think I was looking around the store for about an hour. I saw my sister a few times, but I didn't go over to her until she bought my nieces stuff. She got a cute stuffed kitty, some jeans, and a watch. We probably would have done more shopping, but my brother had to go to the doctor for an appointment so this was the only store we went to today. My sister was relieved that my niece is still into kids toys haha.

We just went home after that, nothing much happened until dinner.

Anyway, I guess this is all. I am pretty tired so I won't say more than this right now. I have other stuff on my mind but it can wait.

Lemon Cake...

I’m sort of late writing this. It is Tuesday now.

Starting where I left off (mid Sunday), I just hung out watching Harry Potter movies until we had dinner. We had BBQ chicken, home made mashed potatoes, and Ceasar salad. It was very good. We talked about various things that I don’t remember while we were eating. I had 2 helpings of everything I was so hungry.

I went back to my Harry Potter movies after that, I didn’t want to eat cake yet.

After about an hour, when I finished my movie I went upstairs and just hung around, I went back downstairs a few times. It wasn’t long before we had cake though.

We called my sister when we were singing Happy Birthday.  I talked to her fora  few minutes than had my lemon cake. I love lemon a lot which is why I had this cake. My dad also loves lemon cake.

I’ve always had a strange attraction to anything lemon. I never eat lemons though because they ruin the enamel on your teeth of course.

I just did stuff on my own after that. I don’t really remember what though. I did read Fablehaven book #5 fora  few hours though, I think I also watched a few more movies but I’m a bit unclear on that.

Sunday Birthday. I am Now 21!

So today is my birthday. I turn 21. It feels nice to be 21. For some reason I really disliked being 20.You could say that my birthday actually started yesterday since some of the normal stuff that people do on the 4th of July couldn't be done today. People do like to keep the sabbath day holy around here. We did fireworks with a lot of my relatives yesterday up in Pleasant Grove. It was pretty fun. There was a really pretty sunset yesterday as well. It started out orange and then sort of got reddish orange. It was so pretty. I was going to take pictures but my camera batteries need to be charged. We had popcorn, and cookies, and chips and stuff. My cousin brought some glow sticks, those are like a tradition now, I love those.

I woke up at 9am, took a quick shower than did some stuff on the computer, like played some games, listened to some church talks, and checked my facebook. I also read another chapter from my Fablehaven book. I am on number 5, the last one in the series.

It was cloudy at first in the morning. Now after I have gone to church it is really sunny. I was afraid it was going to rain ha ha. 

Church was pretty good. Today was fast Sunday though so I couldn’t eat. I’m not really sorry about that though. I actually remembered today and kept the fast for the first time in months. 

We talked about David (the one that slew the giant), and the mistakes he made after all the great stuff he had done. We also talked about freedom somewhat.

Fast Sundays are Testimony meeting, I got up and bore my testimony, a couple of my other friends including Darik and Dylan , and amber and some others got up and bore theirs as well it was pretty cool. I felt really good after I bore mine. I am in quite a good mode now.

Anyway, the weather is perfect today I love it.  It’s not to hot either.

I’m just listening to Mormon Radio right now and just typing this.

I have gotten a lot of Happy Birthdays from people at church and on facebook.

My sister made my cake, even the frosting. I got to taste the frosting it is great frosting.

Wedding!

 

That's a picture of my brother's wedding cake, I'm not going to put pictures of them up for privacy purposes though.

The wedding was held in an LDS temple so i didn't get to see them get sealed (married), I'm not allowed to enter that part of the temple yet. 
Anyway so I sat there for an hour or so then they came out, we took a ton of pictures! It was a lot of fun but it was a little cold. After we took pictures we went out to eat at "Los Harmonos" a very popular Mexican restaurant in our area. I had a chicken burrito with rice and beans, and a tropical drink, it was great!. 
My sister, her fiance, and my brother (other one), went out to the party store after the lunch and we got stuff to decorate my brothers car with after the reception. 
I was home after that for a bout 2 hours.
I went to the reception, basically its just a bunch of people stand in line and greet the bride and groom, have cake, and other refreshments, get to talk to each other, etc. I don't really remember what kind of cake and ice cream they had there but it was pretty good! OH! look I have a picture

My feet hurt so badly by the end of the reception from wearing my annoying shoes all day. I'll take a picture of the dress I was wearing later. It was pretty fun, my sister's purple hair went well with the colors ha ha. 
I  am so glad I brought my camera so I could show you.

After  the reception we got to say goodbye to them, blow bubble,s pop balloons, and stuff like that. 
After we got home we got undressed and got into more casual clothes.
We went and saw the new Star Trek movie after. It was pretty nice.
After I got home i finished some of my leftover food from "Los Harmonos" and played Destiny Online for a while.

We're going to be opening their presents today. I'm excited.
