Do Over

Oh man, I've been working on this house in Minecraft, today I remade the house for the 3rd time. The first time I had the basement raised completely out of the ground, and the front door on what is usually the first floor was raised in the air. There was a balcony all around hanging over the basement, or in this case the new first floor. I finished that version but, after a while I decided I wanted to re-make it in another minecraft world with a proper basement. The second try I put the basement too deep and the window wells didn't work out that well. Now on version 3 I have FINALLY got it right. I am done with the walls, floor, and ceiling so far right now, I still have to do the outside exterior, and the interior decorating. This is just one of many projects I have planned for the future. I will show my house and my other builds with you sometime soon. :)

That has taken a lot of my time today, besides catching up on some anime, and some other stuff nothing really that interesting happened. I fell asleep early yesterday evening around 8pm right after dinner. We had potatoes, roast, and salad. The dinner was fantastic, but because I fell asleep right after I never got to update my last blog entry. I guess it is okay because I didn't have much to talk about today. I did wake up for a few hours in the middle of the night, but i didn't feel like adding anything to the entry anymore.

Anyway, here is a spoiler since this post is kind of bare. I'm way past this stage of building the house now. I was using the Candycraft texture pack, so everything has a candy theme in the photo. :)

Old Bunk bed

So after I got my tooth pulled yesterday I mostly just stayed home playing around with my niece's play Do'h, and watching TV and anime online. The day was pretty much nothing special except for I watched "Spirit Stallion of the Cimmeron". online with my nieces. They really loved it, I'm glad I'm good at finding movies online.

Me my dad and my sister watched a Dateline Special on Haiti earthquake and its damage. I was sort of going back and forth watching the movie with my nieces and watching that at the same time.

After we did that it was about almost 10pm by then. I cleaned up my room a bit and swept the floor. I have a non-carpeted floor right now. We painted it green for the time being so it looks presentable until I can get new carpet. Its good for in the summer because the floor is really cold. I like it  because my feet overheat a lot. Anyway, so I cleaned up my room and me and my dad removed my old bed from my room. When we moved into this house there was a very old bunk bed that the previous neighbors just left here. We've been using it. The bed was sort of weird because it sank in the middle. This caused me some back problems sometimes. My brother had an extra bed in his room so we decided to get rid of the old bed once and for all and switch it with one of his.  The old bunk bed came apart so now I haven't been sleeping in a bunk bed, just half of one. We threw out the other part a long time ago.

Anyway so we moved the other bed into my room. I like it a lot more. It supports my back  lot more, I sleep better, and it has wheels so it wont be hard to move around like my old one that I had. That thing was REALLY squeaky as well. It drove me nuts. Its a wonder to me how I managed to actually sleep on that old bed for so long.

Oh, the story of the bunk bed is that it came from England 60 years ago with a family that moved into our house when it was new. They left the furniture and the old bed behind when they left. It came in handy for us though. The furniture despite the paint being mostly scratched off and worn looked pretty good for some odd reason.

Cleaning the Bathroom for the first time...

Yeah for the first time because I've been a lazy bum. I had no idea how to do it. I've never had to deal with chemicals and stuff like that it was scary. I had no idea it would be that scary especially when I was cleaning the toilet and I was using this stuff and it can like melt your flesh off and it was scary!

I also did a load of laundry, I've never done that before either I had to learn what goes in each load and how to turn on the washer and dryer and stuff like that Its still a little confusing.

Before my parents always did everything for me. I would do the dishes every once in a while and clean my room and sometimes vacuum but thats about it. I feel a little guilty and stupid right now as I'm typing this its pretty sad, I'm sure most of you agree.

So I'm finally starting to clean the house without being asked because of my mom not being able to work the way she used to. I'm a little irritated but there is nothing I can really do about it. *sigh*
