Fried Food on Christmas Eve

So, when I went upstairs today there was a few inches of fresh white snow on the ground. The snow was falling pretty heavily, and the wind was also blowing. My niece Natalie was kind of freaking out about it a little because my sister went to the store and it took her a while to get back because it was so crazy. She was afraid she got in some kind of accident or something. My nieces and I watched Poahontis 2, and also watched a few episodes of "Pound Puppies". I have no problem with watching stuff like this with them sometimes because I always get to watch what I want downstairs in my room. I had fun hanging out with them, drinking herbal tea, and also watching the snow.

Here is a video of the snow. :)

I had a little bit of trouble sleeping last night. It was one of those nights where you wake up like every 2 hours. I always have trouble sleeping around Christmas, everything is so exciting. I ended up sleeping for 3 hours in the afternoon, I felt like a heavy brick. I don't expect to be able to sleep better tonight with all the excitement about the presents and Christmas day in general.

I got all cleaned up and ready for the evening fun we had tonight after I woke up from my nap. We played the present game tonight, it's a tradition we have every year. I grew up playing the present game, some years have been better than others.  What we do is a few people buy presents that are under 5 dollars each. Each person makes sure no one sees the presents they bought and wraps them up. All the presents are then put in a pile and we each pick a number. Sometimes we use the dice, you have to roll either a 7 or 11 to pick a present. This year we didn't use the dice, we just went around in order of number. What happens is you go around by order of number and you either pick a present, or steal someone else's present. If you steal from someone they get to pick a new present out of the pile. This just goes around until all the presents are gone, and then if you want you can trade presents afterwards.

Here is what I got this year. Apple cider mix, cheese puffs, air freshener, pretzels, and candy.

After we did the game we ate. We had a lot of stuff tonight. We had chips, cheese and chocolate fondue, salsa, angel food cake, fruit veggies, tempura, pigs in a blanket, etc. Here are the pictures. By the way, never fry an apple in tempura batter, it is gross. haha.

It was really fun, we all had fun using the oil to fry things. One of my brothers did something extremely weird and fried a little weenie wrapped in a marshmallow that was also wrapped in some dough. It was both hilarious and disgusting. There were people that tried to roast marshmallows in the oil, and others that dipped fruit in the tempura batter and then ate it. I tried that, but thought it was gross. It was lively and everyone enjoyed themselves the whole evening.

After we got done eating and everything winded down, we read the Night Before Christmas poem, the story of Jesus's birth from the book of Luke in the bible, and this story called "The Littlest Angel". We all went and did our own thing after this, and I have just been surfing Xanga ever since and watching stuff on Youtube. I don't think anything else is going to happen tonight. My family started watching "Merlin" upstairs, but I haven't seen season 5 yet, so that is why I came down here. Anyway, today has been fun and exciting. I have no doubt that tomorrow will be the same.

I got to talk to Ronnie tonight, he has been having a good day today. I was hoping he would have a good Christmas. I think getting to share my day with him, the pictures and the videos was definitely one of the best things to happen today. I love sharing stuff with Ronnie. We always have the best conversations and always have fun when we talk to each other. He definitely brightened up my day, even though it was already pretty bright.

I don't think I missed anything, but we will see. :)

It's late

Late night entry because I don't feel like sleeping, or rather my mind is too busy to let me sleep.

It's around 2:30am right now, sorry I did not get around to posting earlier, I got kind of occupied with playing Angry Birds. shocked

In my church we have this service for the poor, it's called the Bishop's Storehouse. Basically people do an order for food or clothes, baby stuff, etc. They give the stuff completely free, it's rather nice. Some of the stuff isn't really top quality (mostly just the bread, and the potatoes are kind of small). My family has been having financial problems so sometimes we don't have enough money to buy groceries sometimes. We go to the Bishop's Storehouse when we need food sometimes, we did that yesterday afternoon. I buy the bread, potatoes and some other little things with my money, but everything else we get there. We went today and picked up a whole bunch of food. We picked up can's of soup, fruit, cereal, milk, and a whole lot more. We actually had to get 2 carts because we couldn't fit all of the food in one kart. I was really surprised by just how much food we got, it had been a while since I had been to the Bishop's Storehouse. I was feeling a bit queasy when we were there but it passed pretty quickly.  I was also feeling tired when we were walking around getting our food, I wasn't all there I guess you could say, I was daydreaming as well kind of.

It was a very nice day yesterday, perfect weather in my opinion. Not to hot and not to cold, it was just simply perfect. I was glad to get outside after we were done, the storehouse was really busy and kind of camped.

I unloaded the groceries with my sister and dad when we got home and then played games on my iPhone for a while, then took a nap. You'd be surprised just how much a little social interaction like that can drain me.

Destiny Online gave me a bit of grief today. I have people constantly asking me for things in the game all the time. I got tired of it earlier and bought some game currency and just decided to pay some people some stuff I owed a little early, some game items and stuff to get them off my back. I was going to wait 5 or 6 days but it was really getting on my nerves. Not to my surprise someone blabbed it out that i was giving out free game gold and people started messaging me right and left, it just about drove me insane. I had people asking me for the craziest things. I like giving people stuff in the game but tonight was just too much. I feel like people were extra demanding this time and that was really annoying. Now I know how the other gold buyers feel.

I have my own guild in the game, and a lot of friends, if it weren't for this I would probably quit. The game itself isn't really that spectacular and honestly I'm starting to feel again like I should just leave everything behind because of the way it's making me feel. I think I have bitten off more than I can chew in game. If I do decide to quit, it will be most likely soon.  I will have a lot o stuff to work out if I quit though. I just needed to talk about this because it was really getting on my nerves. I know that quitting would probably be the best decision, but it's harder than you might think for me. I don't make friends that easy, and I have a lot of friends on Destiny Online which really says something. I will probably end up quitting anyway though. I feel like I'm growing up a little more and it's getting weird just staying on a kind of pointless game like that that I really hate. I only stay for the people, I absolutely hate the game and the staff. I'm starting to thin it's not very healthy for me to play it.

Anyway, these are my late night thoughts. I should probably get some Zz's now.

I Was Sick...

Wow so I was sick for the first time in AGES. I usually never get the flu, but I caught it about 2 days ago. It's gone now but I was pretty drained for a couple of days and didn't feel like posting. Earlier this week the rest of my family caught it before I did. I usually am the one that misses it entirely even though if the whole family gets sick I usually never catch it.  About Tuesday night I was starting to feel sick, around midnight. i just kind of dismissed it as not getting enough sleep because that has happened before. When I don't get enough sleep sometimes.

the whole night I was having sick dreams mixed with dreams about Destiny Online, and some other world I just guess I made up in my head. There were random things like rainbows out of nowhere, and I remember through the whole time I was sleeping the one thing I was thinking about even in my dreams is that I was probably or about to throw up. At about 6:30am I woke up and I was feeling pretty bad then. I went to the bathroom and let it all out. I must have thrown up like 4 times before I tried to stop it.  I cleaned it up the best i could after that. I hit me about a minute later that I was sick. I was a bit baffled by this because I usually never catch anything my family catches. I supposed it was bound to happen sometime.

So, the last two days have been a mix of drinking Gatorade, eating crackers, watching movies, anime, playing Destiny Online, sleeping, and listening to music. I didn't really feel like doing much else. I did't have the energy to get on Xanga and post even though I thought abut it multiple times. So that has been my last two days.

Nothing much has happened today. i tired to eat regular food today, it seems to be going pretty well. I've already eaten Rice Chex and a Yogurt successfully. I just woke up from a nap. I've just been playing games all day and working on writing. Not much to share right now at the moment. :)

It feels weird...

So this week has pretty much been normal. It’s been a week since I started carrying around my cane. But in all honesty I’m starting to re-think it. It’s just to weird for me, I can’t get over it. I’ve been independent for most of my life, haven’t even worn glasses like I stated in my past entry. It just feels to weird plus I’m worried that people will worry that I might be a burden, or a bother. I would rather not use my cane, since I know that would be the case. I was thinking about the benefits of bringing it around with me but I forgot to think about the downsides to it. It just doesn’t feel right, so I’m just going to go back to being independent. I don’t think I need it enough to carry it around honestly. I was noticing that while I was trying it out. I think my glasses will be adequate enough.

Today was Genera Conference, the talks were pretty great. I liked the one about free agency in the 2nd session though. I enjoy Conference a lot. It will continue tomorrow, I’m excited.

I started playing this game called “Kingdoms of Camelot’ on facebook. I’ve fallen so in love with it. I have been having so much fun with it for the past couple of days. I noticed that Sam was playing it so I decided to try it out, and I’m totally attached to it now.

Anyway, that’s all I can think of for the moment.

(Ocotber 12th still using my cane by the way in case if your wondering how that turned out)

Birthday Shopping!

So yesterday was busy.  It started out with me just on the computer but not long after I woke up my sister came downstairs asking me if I wanted to go shopping.

We walked to the local bus stop and caught the bus to the mall. We ate lunch first, I had Japanese food, the guy gave me a  pretty big serving but it was SO good. I love Japanese food. My sister had Italian food.

After that we went to visit the Disney store, where I fell in love with a sheriff woody doll that I have always wanted since I was 5. We also got a few presents for my niece’s birthday. Sadly I did not get to buy the sheriff woody doll it was $50, so worth it though. I would have bought it if I had had the money. the Disney store was pretty great, they had cute stuff like dresses and plates and clothes and stuff it was cute.

I saw this place in the mall when we were walking around that had these really cute stuffed animals. I have always had a weakness for cute stuffed animals.

We went to Gamestop to look for Gamecube games but they werent making them or stocking them anymore. We just decided to leave after that and go to the next store. We went into this electronics store of some kind I didn’t get the name. We found Luigi’s mansion for GC but did not buy it.

We then caught the next bus to UVU, and walked to wallmart and went shopping for art supplies for Natalie.  We were there for a while, it was fun.

After that we just beraly caught the next bus, we didn’t like the bus driver so we got off at the next stop though.

We caught another bus to the transit center where we were waiting for another bus but we decided to go into Deseret book and find a present for my mom for her birthday today. We missed the next but but found her a present. I was mostly looking at CTR rings though. My sister found the book.

we caught another bus and just went home after that. I wa so exhausted when I got home and my feet hurt a little. I slept for 3 hours after that.

I just spent the rest of the day watching movies and just hanging out after that.

Anime and other stuff...

So nothing much happened yesterday. I just watched movies, and stuff on the computer. I found out yesterday that Sam is coming home next Monday, which is surprising, I’m a little bit nervous but not to much though. I really want to see him a lot.  Besides that i accidentally made it so i can’t log into my LDS.net account again. I tried changing my email but i never got the activation email in my other email that is a hotmail account so I have to make a new account now because i can’t activate it anymore.  I don’t really remember what else happened yesterday though.

Anyway, today I’ve just been watching anime. I’m trying out a few different new ones, don’t know what I’ll be watching next yet though. I had a chicken and cheese burrito today, it was the first thing i ate today, i haven’t eaten anything else today though, I really should I suppose.

I was on Destiny Online today and this guy was putting a bid up for an item. I jokingly said that i would pay 1 silver thinking that he wouldn’t take it seriously but he did and started making a big deal out of it. It was pretty stupid. We got into a little fight about how i don’t owe him 1 silver because he never gave me the item because i don't want the item. I think his logic skills are a big unrefined.

Anyway so here I am now just listening to music.

I uninstalled the game.

So this game that has been occupying most of my time since last December and has kept me from Xanga "Destiny Online". I finally uninstalled it! It is the one main reason why i haven't been off of Xanga mostly until Halloween but I have finally had enough, and now I'm blogging about it to tell you that it is completely gone off of my computer for good.

I've felt a lot better since a  couple of days ago when I started going on Xanga again. I feel like I'm actually doing something with my life again, I feel like I have a life again in general. I definitely find Xanga to be productive and worth my time. Writing has always been my best talent. I feel like I am exercising that talent here, and doing good.

This is overall a positive thing for me

Help Me With This Addiction...

So I've mentioned a couple of times about this game called "Destiny Online". Well I think I am getting a little too hung up on it. The trouble is that I have friends on the game, people that I have stuff in common with, and things like that. The bad part is that I feel like it is driving me away from everything else I care about. I get irritated with everyone when they bug me while I'm playing this game, I've hardly payed any attention to anything else but this game since before December.

Its so HARD! I don't know how to stop. I've tried logging off fora  few days but I always feel like I'm going insane like I NEED to play or something, its just so maddening. I don't know what to do now, I have never been in this situation before. I have always been able to walk away from anything (almost) in the past.

I don't even know where to start. =(

Botting in Games is Stupid

So i've been playing this game called "Destiny Online" for a few months now. Anyway, so they just introduced this new bot feature to the game today and there is this huge uproar about it and people are leaving and freaking out.

What I'm wondering is 'What is the point of this?" the whole reason of playing a game is the PLAY! Not to just sit back and just watch as someone else or something else does everything for you.

this is an attribute of the real world i hate. We are all getting used to other people or things doing everything for us. It would be nice if we could keep that form happening in games. After all games are supposed to be fun and we are supposed to play them. Making a legal bot in game just doesn't make sense, people will probably just go AFK the whole time now.

I'll say it again. What is the flipping point of a game if you don't play it? there isn't a point to it anymore.

games aren't about the level you're at. But when you bot, or when you introduce a legal bot into the game you're practically saying "Leveling is all that matters screw playing, this game is just about leveling".  that is what it speaks, and it also tells that the quality of the game is so poor that you need bots in order for people to play it, so pathetic. If the game is even worth playing people will play it, through grind, or whatever.

don't get desperate, don't do something stupid like this.

I have no idea what they are thinking, such a stupid idea.

BORED!!!

I dun feel like playing the game right now, I just feel like blogging haha. Its been a while since I've wrote anything.

My brother is getting married on the 8th of May I'm so excited. I've known the person hes marrying since childhood. I think she and I will become great friends. I'm going to the bridal shower today, can't wait to see what she gets. Even more i cant wait until i get to have my ow wedding wooooo! <3

That's not even near though seeing as I've never taken interest in anyone *laugh*.

I've been just playing that game I've been playing since January (Destiny online) but sometimes i get really bored with it or frusterated because of all the drama that goes on. I have a ton of friends on that game now. I've even goten to the point where i don't like to log out (crazy huh?), yeah but on that game being an addict is something that people cheer for its so funny. I am a full fledged Destiny addict and there is no use denying it seeing i couldn't stand even being logged out for 12 hours that one time i tried to quit *laughs*.

RAWR!!! My mom opened my window again, don't you hate that feeling when you have your window open and you feel like someone is watching your every move? that's why i usually keep mine closed all the time and the blinds down and the curtains shut.

My room is messy again *laugh* i need to clean it again so badly.

I'm so glad the weather is getting nicer again! I hate winter! (don't know how many times I've told you that but you probably already know).

Anyway I'll write something later, and i think I'll make it a point never to log out of Xanga when I'm playing my game because i usually have a ton to think about when I'm playing. *laugh*

Oh and hi to all the people on facebook that are probably going to be reading this *laugh* I like this new xanga feature!

I've Finally gotten into Something.

I've been waiting for it to happen and it has. I have finally gotten really into something. Sorry I've been absent because of it.

Okay so there is this game called "Destiny Online' it just got out of open beta on Jan 13th. This game is so amazing. If you like cute 3D graphics in a 2D game you should try this out. The game itself has been very underrated by everyone, those who actually try it usually like it. I've been playing this game for 2 months now and I am still into it. It might not be your thing but i would try it. The people are nice, there are a ton of quests, etc.

I've never been much of a person for MMO's but this satisfies me all the way for some strange reason.

Anyway so that explains my utter disappearance from Xanga. I have bee playing this game every day for the past 4 or 5 weeks. Before that i wasn't so active but then i decided i would try to really get into it and it worked. I am still not bored which is a rare thing for anything i do. I usually get bored of everything.

Anyway so I'm going to try to get back on track ha ha.
I did think about Xanga while i was gone and I've been meaning to come back.
Its been so strange for me to not blog its such a huge part of my life.

I'm So Disappointed in Walmart

they should really look more into the games they get for the store. I've been turned off by one I just recently tried.

Its this game that has 50,000 games on it. Sounds pretty good but its not. When I installed this game it had SO many trojan agents it was crazy! The games were there but so were the viruses. I was just like staring at the many pop ups that came up when my AVG anti virus caught those little buggers. I got rid of the games on the computer and uninstalled them after that and then told everyone in the house about it.

As you can probably guess I am a little turned off from buying games from the store now. You never know what you're really getting. I've downloaded games from the internet that were cleaner than this.

As I said earlier stores should really look more into the items they stock on the shelves.

If I can find the Walmart page for it or a picture I'll put it up later. I'm currently looking for it. Its just called 50,000 games.

Weird Dream #1

Okay so I had this dream and it was so random and weird!

Okay so we're in college and things are going normally. I'm a little nervous because my best friend is back from NY I sort of stock him a little then this guy comes out of nowhere ad we start playing this really weird game where we try ad get out of this huge amount of chains its so bizarre.

Anyway so I get out and find my way to this room where SuperMario 64 is playing and the next thing I know I'm in the game as Mario. So I start running around and finally come to this 3 way fork. I start to go right but hear voices that tell me that no one has ever been there and its dangerous. I go anyway and eventually fall into a hole and into another world.

This worlds is rally dark and it has a lot of huge flying boulders and scary thing in it. Anyway so the view expands and I start seeing these LCD screens everywhere with the places's ruler. I look around and see this huge castle made of Pepsi cans and I'm like WTF! The pepsi cans are big. So Somehow I get out of that word and return to my won and I ask about the man that lives in the castle.

Apparently that place was in chaos and there was a lot of fighting until one day when he fell from the sky. he started to get along with everyone and eventually united the many kings that are in that place so now that place is alright.

then the scene changed to something completely random. We see Mario and Peach playing wit the weird contraption that can doa  lot of things. They press a button that plays Christmas stories. Then the next thing I know i"m in that room again with the SM64 and then the dream ends.
