Cleaning up

So today I primarily cleaned out my sisters stuff from my room. it has been there for ages. I also cleaned up my floor, it was cluttered with clothes and other stuff. I'm really crazy when it comes to leaving clothes around everywhere. I don't have my closet built yet, and it's a real pain in the butt hanging stuff up in my fake cardboard closet. It doesn't really make that great of a fake closet.

I also got Pandora One today. I use Pandora Radio a lot.  I'm really quite happy that I wont have to keep an eye on how many hours I listen anymore. It feels great to be able to just listen and not think about that kind of thing.

I'm thinking of buying a squishable. They are like big, round, fat stuffed animals. You should look them up. I have full intention of collecting them all someday.

I'm having some herbal mint tea right now. It's a nice thing to have before bed. It's okay for LDS people to have herbal tea by the way, it has nothing bad in it. My mom has a lot of different teas, I intend to try them all eventually.

It is officaly cold weather season. I didn't mention it but last week, or early this week it snowed. I can't remember which.  It was really strange to see snow after so long. It's always weird.

I have been packing stuff away in preparation for building my new closet, getting my carpet, and painting. I still have quite a few things to pack though. I'm excited I'm finally getting the look for my room i have always wanted.

February!!!!!

Okay a few things I did not blog about that have happened.

Saturday I cleaned off my desk. I took all the junk, and my monitor, keyboard, everything else that was on it. Then I scrubbed all the crap off of it and dryed it off. There was SO much stuff on it it was crazy, including dust.
My Keyboard was the hard part, first i had to get all the dust, and food and sticky stuff off of the keys. That was the easy part of it though, next I had to get the crumbs out of it.

I didn't realize how many there were until I turned it upside down and shook it and lightly banged it against my padded chair and a WHOLE LOT of crumbs came out it was crazy! Me and my mom cleaned it out with a toothbrush in between the keys, and even vacuumed it. I know i didn't get all the crumbs out but most of them are out. Enough for nothing to come raining out when I shook it and banged it against the chair. Plus our vacuum is pretty good.

Then I cleaned off my speakers and mouse which were both pretty dirty as well but not as bad as my desk and my keyboard. I no longer eat food around my keyboard. Never want to go through that again.

I just cleaned the rest of my room after that.

The night before my dad gave me one of his flat screen monitors. Its a bit taller and wider and its flat screen unlike my old one. Its a retty nice monitor.

Anyway, today I went ice skating. there were a lot of people around and so the ice got jagged. I didn't go as fast as I usually do because there were a lot of children around and other people. No injurys this time but last time I went I almost knokced myself out. It wasn't as busy that time so I could go a bit faster though.

Anyway after that I just went home and watched some TV and got on the computer and did stuff.

Happy February by the way. My favorite day of the year is Valentine's Day.

Old Bunk bed

So after I got my tooth pulled yesterday I mostly just stayed home playing around with my niece's play Do'h, and watching TV and anime online. The day was pretty much nothing special except for I watched "Spirit Stallion of the Cimmeron". online with my nieces. They really loved it, I'm glad I'm good at finding movies online.

Me my dad and my sister watched a Dateline Special on Haiti earthquake and its damage. I was sort of going back and forth watching the movie with my nieces and watching that at the same time.

After we did that it was about almost 10pm by then. I cleaned up my room a bit and swept the floor. I have a non-carpeted floor right now. We painted it green for the time being so it looks presentable until I can get new carpet. Its good for in the summer because the floor is really cold. I like it  because my feet overheat a lot. Anyway, so I cleaned up my room and me and my dad removed my old bed from my room. When we moved into this house there was a very old bunk bed that the previous neighbors just left here. We've been using it. The bed was sort of weird because it sank in the middle. This caused me some back problems sometimes. My brother had an extra bed in his room so we decided to get rid of the old bed once and for all and switch it with one of his.  The old bunk bed came apart so now I haven't been sleeping in a bunk bed, just half of one. We threw out the other part a long time ago.

Anyway so we moved the other bed into my room. I like it a lot more. It supports my back  lot more, I sleep better, and it has wheels so it wont be hard to move around like my old one that I had. That thing was REALLY squeaky as well. It drove me nuts. Its a wonder to me how I managed to actually sleep on that old bed for so long.

Oh, the story of the bunk bed is that it came from England 60 years ago with a family that moved into our house when it was new. They left the furniture and the old bed behind when they left. It came in handy for us though. The furniture despite the paint being mostly scratched off and worn looked pretty good for some odd reason.

Knick Knacks

I just love keeping little things around my room. Things that usually are just for show. i've always kept a lot of nick knacks around my room. sometimes I keep bouncy balls, or slinkeys, or dolls, china sets, etc. I've sort of made a hobby out of collecting these little things and just keeping them around.

I have random bottles of colored and glittered sand just sitting around on my bookshelf for show, it is really pretty. I've always loved marbles I keep those around too. Old pokemon cards, old greeting cards, etc. I've always had fun just collecting these. I'm always careful not to hoard though, my stuff never piles up. I give different things to various people when i get tired of them. I really hate throwing stuff away if it can be used, even if I don't see any use for it at the time.

I started when i was very little, I just started keeping dolls, and various toys, I would set them up to look nice, organize them so they looked like they belonged there. Its really quite fun.

When stuff do you just keep around your room?
