The Flowers at Temple Square

Yesterday mom, dad and I went up to Salt Lake City to go see a Tabernacle Choir concert featuring Brian Stokes Mitchel and the Utah Symphony. It was part of the celebration of the 150th celebration of the Golden Spike. I don't know much about that to be honest.

Mom was in the concert, because she is in the choir, but dad and I had some free time and walked around the City Creek Center and ate some dinner. I went to kneader's and he went to Costa Vida which was nearby. I got a chicken pesto panini that came with Parmesan chips. I also got a fruit tart, which was amazing, and a little package of macarons, which to be honest didn't impress me much. They must have been cheap macarons. We didn't see very many shops, but we did get to look around the Microsoft store. That was a store I chose. I saw this huge $4000 surface screen that was 28 inches long. I'm pretty sure it is meant for art, architecture and other careers having to do with design. I've never seen one in person until yesterday, so it was cool finally getting to play around with that. It reminds me of a huge tablet. I can see why it is great for design.

I got to walk around Temple square a bit and take pictures of some of the flowers. I'd like to come back sometime and get even more pictures. My time was limited, so I couldn't get them all.

Here is a random picture I took when dad and I were walking around the Conference Center to pass time.

The concert was enjoyable. Dad and I gotin our seats and hour and a half early at 6:30pm because that is when they open the doors to the Conference Center. We were actually first in line at door 9. I fell asleep in my chair for a while after I sat down. It really si better to get seats earler, because you get better seats in your assigned section. Because of my nap I didn't have to waste much of my already low phone battery thankfully.

We got home around 10:30pm I think. It might have been later. I just played games for the rest of the night before I went to sleep.

Red and White

So yesterday I woke up around 5:30, I had been so tired the night before and just decided to give into my sleepiness around 8:30pm. I don't always do this, sometimes I just stay awake, but then sometimes I have trouble getting to sleep later because my school semester kind of messed up my sleep rhythm a little. I think it is getting to be normal again, but I'm having to take it one day at a time. The funny thing about what happened the night before last night is that I actually fell asleep with a towel on my head. I usually never do this, lucky for me I breefly woke up for a few minutes around midnight so I could take it off. My hair wasn't really messed up that much, I was glad. I went upstairs an hour after I woke up, my mom was slicing a pineapple and my add was getting ready for work and was frying some eggs. I decided that while the pan was still hot I might as well make a couple too. My mom asked me if my brother could have my eggs because he was in a hurry and hadn't eaten anything. I didn't mind, but it turned out he didn't want them, and I had actually added a third egg, so I decided to make an egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast. So I had that and some of the pineapple for breakfast, it was pretty good.
Our roses have finally bloomed, they have been a little late the past couple of years because of the weird cold weather we have been having around the time they usually bloom. Every year in the past we usually brought some of the roses to family members graves on Memorial Day, but we have had to cut down on that because of the weird weather. I will get new photos of the roses soon to show everyone here.

Red and white were the colors of my friend's wedding reception. Over here we are usually all LDS most of the time, so we have a temple ceremony in the morning when we get married and then later for those who can't go to that we have some sort of reception where people can meet the couple and their family. My friend Nezumi had her wedding yesterday and for her reception it was European with Japanese influences. The whole thing was amazing and she was so beautiful. There were refreshments, some sort of fruit in a cup, cupcakes, and some other stuff I don't know the name of. It was outside and the weather was perfect with a light breeze, you could hear various family members speaking Japanese, and the atmosphere was just nice in general. Instead of just a signed guest list she did a photo guest list. I am not to confident that my picture will look that great, but oh well. Haha. Instead of the usual wedding dress Nezumi dressed in a kimono, she looked very lovely! Here are some pictures! Apparently after I talked to her and met the families and stuff she caught me taking the last photo, so it worked out nice.

She is also best friends with my other friend Britney that also had a wedding last week. Sadly I missed that one, I fell asleep an hour before it, I was so exhausted that day. When I was going through the line meeting her family members some of them couldn't speak english and so her mom translated back and forth for me and the other people. Her family members also wore kimonos as well. Nezumi is moving to Japan soon, I'm glad I got to see her get married. We have known each other for a very long time. Her friend Britney is the little sister of Amanda, the girl I used to be best friends with until my senior year of high school.
I talked with some friends for a while and then left after I saw her and everything. I walked back to my house after this and just watched some youtube videos, played Minecraft, and some other games. I got really tired around 8pm and slept until around 6am, I was sooo tired. Sorry for not getting this up yesterday. On the other hand I have been meaning to move my blogging to the mornings, so I guess this works out just fine. :)

Hope you liked them! I took these photos a few weeks ago. Nothing really happened today that was that interesting so i decided to just share these photos. I was feeling a bit bummed about not getting to go with my sister to the water park, so I just had to do something cheerful. If anything interesting does happen later I'll make sure to edit.

I don't know if you want to listen to this, but i did it earlier when I was feeling considerably more sad. I just needed to voice how I was feeling.

Fire Flowers

So I just did my new theme. I've been meaning to do it for weeks now but I never got to it until just now. I was originally going to do a blue, aquamarine, and green one but I decided I wanted colors that are hot. I went on colourlovers.com to find and color my background pattern. It took me a while to find a suitable pattern for the colors I chose. Once I found the pattern I am using now I fell instantly in love with it. The pattern on my CL website is by the same name "Fire Flowers". I really hope you guys like the pattern, and the theme in general, it's been a while since I changed the look of my website. happy

I use the patterns on that website for my blog themes all the time. Most of the time I just borrow other people's patterns, but they do have a pattern maker on the website you can use to make your own patterns. I haven't gotten the hang of it yet. My patterns always turn out dumb ha ha.

Most of my day has been spent on Xanga today. Xanga, sleep, iPhone games, and facebook a little bit. That has pretty much been my day today. Nothing really exciting, I'm trying to figure out what my next show to watch will be. I don't want to watch the original Star Trek quite yet. I'm taking a break from Star Trek for a couple of days after finishing DS9 yesterday.

I did read a little bit of manga today on mangafox, and mangareader.

My parents did go hiking somewhere today, but I didn't go with them. I'm not really in good enough shape to go hiking for 6 hours yet. I hope to be able to go with them sometime though, it would be really enjoyable.

So far as the weather goes it was one of those half rainy, half sunny days. the second half of the day was sunny, I thik the rain is going to come for another round again soon though. I seriously love thunder storms so I can't really object.

I've been thinking up some new ideas for my blog posts. I won't spoil it for you but I think my blog hasn't been as creative as it should be lately, I think that is going to change soon. I've been really inspired a lot lately, and have gotten so many ideas.

So many things have been going through my head, I have this constant daydream that goes through my head all the time. This daydream would make good story material. I'm thinking of making it into a Xanga only story, one just for my blog readers. I am always adding elements to this particular daydream and it's just getting more and more interesting. I suppose every story starts out like that. I can't wait to get it a little more organized so I can write it down. I've made a few people curious about it lately, I always tell them about this daydream I have running through my head constantly, like a never ending story. They always ask me what it is about, but honestly I couldn't really tell you, except for in story form. It's one of those things you can't describe in just a few words. Most of my thoughts are tied to this story that is running freely through my thoughts all the time. happy

Anyway, so I guess that is all for today. If anything else happens I will update this.

(XQ) What Qualities Make a Person Attractive In Your Eyes

Their personality, if they have a kind heart and a strong mind, and are honest and creative. Those qualities are what I value most, and I find them attractive. Also if they are spiritual and follow their faith pretty well. Also musical qualities are very attractive to me as well.  :)

Spring is here!!

I'm so excited! I just love spring and summer they are my favorite times of the year. I can't wait to go outside and take walks again. Its so pretty here in the spring and summer I love it a lot.

I've always loved going outside, It'll be nice to get away from the game I've been playing and go swimming, and running, and stuff like that. I can also do my yoga outside which will be better since its a better open environment than my room. My floor is too cold and hard.

I used to go take walks every day around the neighborhood but then it got to cold and I've been inside ever since. Can't wait until we start out garden and stuff its going to be great!

My brother also gets married this week, I hope the weather stays nice.

Looking forward to the future so much, this is the best time of year. Our roses are going to start blooming in the summer and stuff, they're so pretty!

I see spring and summer as a time for inspiration, a time when you can get out of your normal routine and get int something new and better, it is a perfect time for starting something new and fresh!
