the Reception and...

So yesterday evening was my cousin Jessica’s wedding reception.  It was really pretty.  There wasn’t really any healthy food there. just ice cream, and candy. I got a candy bag, with mints and stuff.  I also had some mint ice cream. 

The place was decorated in plants and there was a stone floor, it looked pretty cool.there was a fountain in the center… or at least i think it was the center. it looked very old fashioned. It was pretty non the less.

We talked to aunt Jan, and Julie and some other people while we were there. I just walked around the place a little. I was really hungry right about then. I’m horrible when it comes to thinking up stuff to eat.

Jessica and her husband were taken by a limo somewhere. I don’t know where though after the reception when we were about to leave. 

We went to taco bell on our way home. I got 2 Seven Layer burritos and ate them very happily. I had hardly eaten anything yesterday.

I didn’t bring a coat yesterday night either so when we were waiting for the limo to come and take the couple away I was freezing.  Mom gave me her jacket though. <3

Anyway. I slept until noon today and was almost late for church. I was in such a hurry I ate candy for breakfast just so my stomach wouldn’t go crazy while i was at church.  I also forgot to turn off my computer before I went to church. And apparently it went all weird while i was gone and my sister had to turn it off because it was making this weird noise.  It had been on a blue screen of death before I left. That is why i was going to turn it off before church but forgot.

The weather is pretty nice today it has been sunny today. It hasn’t been to cold or hot. I’m dreading the upcoming cold weather.

Anyway, besides that it has been interesting around here because I have bee thinking up what colors I am going to do my room. I’m going to get a new bed and a new bedset and stuff. I’m also going to paint and carpet my room. It’s going to be very nice compared to what it looks like right now. I think I’m going to try and do it yellow and pink. I might change my mind though, who knows.

Everyday Happenings...

You know I’ve been waiting for a long time for it to not just rain, but storm. I don’t like it when it just rains a lot, but when thunder and lightning gets involved it gets somewhat exciting, and less depressing.  It’s been storming all day, I’ve enjoyed it.

My aunt and my cousin came over. Mom was talking abut some health related stuff with them. I never bother to listen in on the conversations though. My cousin Jacky had her little boys over, they were pretty cute, and noisy just like my nieces. I miss having them around a little but it’s nice to get some peace and quiet now and then.

I had an orange popsicle while this was going on. Everyone else seemed to follow my lead after that, which was sort of amusing.

I wrote a comment on Sam’s facebook telling how glad I am he exists and that he is a good friend. Every time I think about him my mood goes into super sparkly happy mode. I always end up being happy for the rest of the day when I talk to him.

The new chapters of Bleach, and Naruto were very good today. They just came out a few hours ago. I have been waiting for the particular story sequences that are happening in Bleach and Naruto. They have been dragging on for a long time with the previous ones.  I have to say I am quite pleased with what is happening in both.

Birthday Extention and Toy Story 3!

Okay, so I got a bit lazy yesterday and didn’t finish.

Anyway what happened on Monday…

I got up at about 6:30, I mostly just hung around listening to music and reading. I thought we were going to leave at 7:30am so I got up that early. I should have guessed we wouldn’t leave that early, we’re usually late to stuff like parades. I guess it’s a matter of priority.

I had cheese potatoes for breakfast (ha ha I know not the best thing). The potatoes were the ones we had at dinner the evening before for my birthday. 

I just went back downstairs and listened to music until we left after that. I really love New Age, it’s pretty. I really enjoy listening to it whenever I can along with piano, meditation music, and ambient. I love that kind of music. Music with words is okay now and again but music with no lyrics can spark the imagination more.

Anyway So we got into the car, I had made the mistake of not eating enough before I got into the car. That and the fact that one of my nieces was in a really bad mood made my car sickness even worse. I only get car sick on an empty stomach. I was super relieved to get out of the car, just on the verge of losing my early morning breakfast that I had eaten.

We paused in a few places, watching the beginning of the parade. I never really planned on watching the parade to begin with I was just there for my family because they wanted to go.

We walked for quite a while looking for the place where my relatives sat, we almost gave up a few times, my sister stayed behind and got a ride with my dad once we found the spot where they were sitting. I just got my book out and read the whole time ignoring the parade completely. I just wanted to sit with my relatives.

Anyway, so after that we just went back home. I cached up on some anime, and then just took a nap. I didn’t get enough sleep the night before. I was up until 1am.

Anyway, so we went to a BBQ at my aunts house after that. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, and a lot of other stuff.  A lot of my cousins were there. After I ate I just sort of walked around for a bit and then just started reading my book again. I’m not a very sociable person as you should know by now. I have to admit al the people were a bit overwhelming for me. I am not very fond of big crowds, even if it is family.

We were celebrating 3 birthdays (one was mine the day before) and the other two were cousins. I didn’t get to stick around for the other two though because we had to get to our movie. We did get to eat some of my 2nd lemon cake though, it was fantastic.

Anyway so we left for the movie at about 4pm. We went to see Toy Story 3. I had been waiting for months to see it.

My dad bought me some sort of blue slushy it was good. we had popcorn and candy too. 

the movie was really great. I enjoyed it a lot. It lived up to my expectations. I wouldn’t have expected anything else from Toy Story though.

After that I was thinking about going to a ward BBQ for family home evening but I changed my mind, deciding I needed to be alone now because I had been around enough people and wanted some peace now.

I just watched Harry Potter movies and read as far as I can remember. It was an enjoyable day for me.

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was great! I couldn't slept the night before though so I was up at 4:45am it was crazy.  My mom was up starting on the rolls and putting the turkey in the oven that early. Things were pretty busy. I wasn't the only one that couldn't sleep ha ha. I just turned on my computer and listened to music. I also set up my new deviantart account tat I hadn't used for a few months. I'd been meaning to move my stuff there for a while since I anted a new name but I never got to it until Thanksgiving. 

My church had an activity around 9am that morning, we went to the park and they played football. Both girls and guys. I didn't play since I have really bad hand eye coordination. I ate a sprinkled doughnut though. Actually I ate a maple one as well ha ha.  There was hot chocolate there as well. It wasn't to cold though, just a little. I didn't have to wear my coat, just a light jacket. The skies were clear and blue and there wasn't any wind. The weather was great.

After that I went home and just took a shower. Not to long after I got out we started going over to the church. We got the whole church reserved just for our family it was great. My mom brought a big thing of dough to the church for the rolls, she hadn't made them yet. The church kitchen was really busy, There were pies, turkeys, and other things all over the kitchen. My aunt graded some cheese for cheese sauce. I kept on picking at the graded cheese it was good. I never got caught. My hands were clean I might add. I helped my mom put the roll dough into the cupcake pans for the rolls so I had to wash my hands. There were so many people in the kitchen.

Slowly we brought out all the food into the church gym. There were tables set up all the way across the gym. We have a lot of relatives so that was smart to fill the whole gym with tables. All my aunts and uncles and cousins came. There were SO many people there. 

There were 2 or 3 turkeys, a lot of stuffing, 2 or 3 things if yams and marshmallows, mashed potatoes, salads, fruit salads, chips, rolls, butter, honey butter, etc. There was a lot of pied as well I might add. I had a little bit of everything. I as so full by the time I was finished.  During the dinner my aunts came up one by one, and my mom and they told which family was which and how we were all related, and some really good stories about the family. It was a lot of fun being together like that.  

After everyone ate we played games. All the kids were running around the church playing hid and go seek and tag.  We also made paper turkeys, the kids had a lot of fun with that it was awesome. we played card games, and I think board games too. I was making a turkey, and didn't pay much attention to what everyone else was doing ha ha. 

this went on for a few hours. When it was time to go home my 8 year old niece didn't want to go home. She was mad at my dad for making her go home. Shes so funny sometimes.  

After we got home we played more board games and stuff. My family was playing "Solarquest"  while I went back downstairs to my room and set up my new deviantart some more.  We just did this for the rest of the night and watched TV and stuff it was great.

My aunt Martha and uncle Doug came down from Wyoming and stayed fora  few days at our house. My sister too came down from California this week. 

The house was pretty busy this week. Our cat really hated it, she doesn't like it when a lot of people are around it spooks her.

Yeah, so hat was my Thanksgiving.
