Ice Cream Overload

Yesterday I had work. I just made waffle bowls and cones. I was having anxiety for the first part of my day, so I was eager to get out of there.

I walked around the mall and went to Deseret Book just to look around. I also went to Farr’s Fresh ice cream and got a crazy concoction of flavors that were bizarre. I couldn't decide, so I got all the flavors I was interested in. The problem is that I got too much ice cream. The soft serve machines were kind of runny yesterday. I even got my hands sticky by trying to get samples. In the end I ended up getting grapefruit, lemon, caramel apple, and two other flavors that I have blanked out at the moment. I'll never try that again because it was really weird. Not all my crazy concoctions backfire on me, but that one sure did. I really do need to keep in mind how flavors work together.

I also ate out at a local Osaka Japanese Grill for lunch before work. I had rice, veggies, and a beef and meat combination. I was trying to eat healthy, something I sabotaged when I ate the ice cream after work. I also got a pretzel with cheese sauce after I ate ice cream. I spent way too much on food yesterday and now I regret that. It really was a waste of money. I only worked for an hour, so I could have waited until I got home. I don't think I'll ever do that again.

Today I was at the mall for most of the day looking around stores. I just hung out and went a bunch of random places including Michael's Craft Store, Best Buy, and Halloween Town which open every Halloween. I prefer Zurchers for my Halloween stuff, but Halloween Town can be nice to look at even if it is overpriced. I was around the mall for hours. I was waiting for my check to come, but the owner was late tonight and he still wasn't there by the time the bank closed, so I'll just get my check tomorrow. This means I am broke with only $15 to my name until Monday, which sucks. The owner never is that late, so I was and still am a little irritated. It's really uncomfortable having nothing to spend. Now I'm regretting buying two protein bars for lunch today. I was really hungry, and they were great, but that's just less money until Monday, oh well...

Anyway, I should have something else written soon. I just had to mention this stuff tonight. I have work tomorrow, so I'll probably have a lot to say tomorrow. I'm not really enjoying my job right now.

The Eight Ounce Discount

Someday I should take a picture of the cleaning list Trevor has for me at work. I go down that list of things every week. I have 3 days to finish the list, but honestly, I can do them in one two hour shift. I am usually pretty thorough with the things I have to do as I don't feel any time pressure. I usually try and space the tasks out over the week. There are other people that do some cleaning when I'm not there, so I don't usually have to worry about certain things not being done. One of the obvious ones is sweeping. I usually save sweeping for Friday because doing it at the end of the week just makes more sense to me.

I've actually started wearing the plastic gloves we use for the various food tasks when I am cleaning. At first it was just for the window cleaning with Windex, but lately my hands have been getting dry. The water we use to clean the dishes mixed with the soap we use to clean our hands has been the culprit I think. That is two kinds of soap and some bleach water. You can put two and one together and see I am probably smart for wearing gloves. We use Kirkland dish soap to clean the dishes, and bleach water for the sanitizing. I'm not sure what hand soap we use, but it is pink and I think I hate it.

Anyway, after work I walked around and listened to music. I missed the bus i was going to take, so I went back inside the mall and just kept listening to music until the next one came. I went to the store and got a bread bowl and some cheddar broccoli soup for dinner. I had to wait for the bakery and deli to put more soup out because they were out when i got there. I thought about getting some canned soup, but more often than not the sodium count discourages me. I try to avoid high sodium food if I can.

When I was going through the checkout with my food I noticed the price was a little funny. The soup is something like $5 for 16 ounces and the bread bowl was $1.50. I noticed that the amount said $4.21. I thought I had just been given a discount, but had a feeling that I was wrong. Now this is where I had a choice. I could have just gone with it when I looked at my receipt and saw that they charged me for an 8oz soup and not a 16oz soup. I could have walked away knowing they made a $2.50 mistake. I turned around the told the cashier about the mistake instead. She called the manager and I payed the rest and felt good about it. I am glad I chose to do the honest thing. I would have felt like a thief if I hadn't.

I put my stuff in the cart and waited for my ride to come. I got a call from mom before and she told me to call Laura for a ride since she forgot she had the car and couldn't come get me. Laura had just drove past the store on her way home from getting a pizza. I had to wait for a few minutes. Mom ended up coming back instead which I don't mind. I don't really care who I get a ride from. So when I got home I had soup in a bread bowl and the rest had pizza. Laura cut my bread bowl open for me since she has worked in a few bakeries.

I have just been watching chemistry videos on YouTube ever since. It has been a pretty good day today. I am pretty sure I am very thankful for my conscience today.

Fun With Live Streams!

I try not to play around with the facebook live stream function too much because they take up a lot of data. Today I went to the store and I got some bagels, cream cheese, and chocolate. I let people watch me while I was shopping and it was a lot of fun. I got some everything bagels, some plain ones, one strawberry and one pineapple cream cheese, and the chocolate was one blueberry akai dark, and one 85% chocolate. I think I am getting quite fond of the strong chocolates. I think I might want to mess around with bakers chocolate sometime and see what I can do with it. I do love baking and I wouldn't mind delving into the realm of making sweets. I think that would be super fun.

I did go to work today, but left early because once again I ran out of stuff to do and I don't like to just walk around asking for stuff to do because I think that is kind of silly. I think that I need to think up some extra stuff for times when I get stuck. Maybe it's time for me to organize the shelves above the dish washing sinks again. Anyway, I don't know.

I went to Villa Italian kitchen for lunc today and had a stromboli. It was a spicy one with chicken, cheese, tomato sauce, peppers and olives. I try not to eat there too often because the calories are crazy!

Anyway, I've been eating entirely too much chocolate lately...

November Recap 1/2 (WITH COOL PICTURES!)

Let's start with all the times I've been to the store in this first half of the month. I've been trying to try different types of bottled water. Nothing like Disani or that cheap stuff, but the good stuff like Essentia, Fiji and other cool water. I go to the store now every time I go home from school.

I should mention now I am no longer having a bad time at work. I am doing the sample shift no more right now. I just come in 3 times a week for 2 hours and clean. Trevor made a list for me. I am more than happy to do that list and other things. I feel a lot more relaxed. i feel like things are looking up!

I did major paper 4, which was an annotated bibliography in preparation for major paper five. We also did a research proposal. Was it hard doing those two things? Yes, yes it was. However, I am feeling optimistic and know I can make it thorough the rest of the semester! I can make it through anything. I've learned how to correctly format an annotated bibliography and I've started doing research for MP5 and my topic is depression and anxiety. It was agorophobia, but I'm going to shelf that for now. I am improving in English and that is exciting!

On the 6th I shared this story on facebook. This happened 7 years ago. (on the 6th) "Let me tell you about this because it's quite interesting. Dad and Laura were on their way to get movie tickets. On their way there they were hit by a car from the right. The miraculous thing about this story is that I was going to go with them, but had a feeling I should stay home for some reason. I lost my interest in going and I'm glad I listened to that feeling that I didn't want to go. The part of the car that got hit was on the side that I sit on. I would have felt the greater part of the accident if I had gone since it took place where I would have been sitting. Just shows that you shouldn't ignore your intuition. I'm pretty sure it was God who put that idea into my head through the spirit that I shouldn't go. I am very grateful for that even 7 years later.".

I tried tofu steak for the first and last time at the school cafeteria.

I went broke pretty quickly this month. I'm going to get it under control though. I just need to have bettter spending habits again.

I voted for Evan McMullin in the presidential election. Trump won, but I'm willing to give him a chance. I just won't say that to anyone outside of my house, or on this blog. Election night was a crazy night and we were all on the edge of our seats as things happened. People have been protesting and a lot of people are sad. I've heard of bad things happening all over, but I think it will calm down eventually. A lot of people are stressed. America will reap what we sow.

I went to a health fair and got a lot of treats and other stuff. I've gotten so many pens from fairs and events this year in school. I also have quite the collection of chapstick as well! Candy of course is always abundant.

I have been livestreaming coloring and other random stuff like Tetris lately. Here is one of the pictures I've finished coloring.

Yesterday I took these pictures of the moon! know the super moon is tonight, but I am honestly happy I didn't wait to take pictures.

I am feeling nervous about exam 4 tomorrow in French. i should have gone to the tutor more. Hopefully I am wrong and it won't be so bad. I'll give more info on that in the future.

If I forgot to mention anything you will see it eventually.

New Shoes!

Today Was an awesome day! I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with malted milk for breakfast and went to school. We started learning about verb endings in French. I’ll explain more some other time though. I love the class, but can’t tell much yet.

I got new shoes from Journey’s shoe store today! I made a point to check Famous Footwear and Sketchers also before just in case I found something else I liked. In the end I ended up getting these cool high tops that I’ve had my eye on. These are just one pair I like. I’m getting more shoes in a couple of weeks.

I just threw my old ones away. They were really worn out. Now I wonder if I should have given them to a thrift store though. Well, probably not now that I think about it more.  They were causing my feet to hurt and I’d hate to pass that onto someone else.

I went to lunch after I got my shoes. I went to Galilee again and tried their lamb burger with fries. To be quite honest I liked the pita pocket and the lamb itself, but the pickled mango sauce and the veggies were a bit much. I don’t think I’ll have that one again. I’m glad I tried it, but it just wasn’t for me. Oh, and I also got some falafel with dipping sauce. Those are always nice. Anyway I decided to break my new shoes in by walking to Petsmart. I wanted to go look at the cats. Sometimes they have really cute ones.  I wasn’t disappointed at all this time.

Here are some more adorable pictures of Sophie.

I would have loved to adopt her, but sadly I’m probably allergic to her in theory. I’m fine with our lynx sismese Cookie at home, but I think I’d react badly to Sophie and we also have an outdoor cat as well so we have enough cats.

I went to the gym after Petsmart.  I wanted to further break my shoes in so I did done if the leg machines and ran on the treadmill. That will probably make my feet hurt tomorrow, but it worked for my last pair of shoes. I walk a lot so it doesn’t take me long to break shoes in. I noticed that my feet get hot though. I’m not planning on using these shoes at the gym tonne honest anyway. I’m getting a second pair soon that has better ventilation for that. This is a good idea especially for when I go in the sauna.

After the gym I headed to the store and decided to get a couple of packages of Koyo brand ramen noodles to cook at home. I got the pepper garlic flavor. When Aura came and got me from the store she also got some Rocky Road and Raspberry Pecan ice cream. When I got home I made my ramen and watched Bones on Netflix while eating some. I think it was really yummy. I want to try the other flavors sometime. I think I’ll only do one package next time though. No need to over do things. I was only that hungry because of the gym.

Anyway, nothing much besides this to tell tonight.

I Just Want Everything In the Store

Nothing much happened today. I just stayed home for most of it except for a brief trip to the store. I couldn’t decide what to get for a while. Laura, Bunny and I went together. Laura got lemon cookies, some cereal, and some ice cream. I thought about getting a chocolate cherry cashew KIND bar, but later settled on ambrosia. I have been craving ambrosia for a few days and I decided  to just go for it. I just got a small personal container. I was happy to see that i over estimated the cost. The charge by weight. I think it’s $4 a pound or something like that. It only cost me $1.80 and this made me really happy.

I really need to get more snacks. I should also do a picture post of things I love the most at the store. In case some of my visually impaired friends have found this blog I will include descriptions of everything as well. Sometimes I just feel like I want to buy everything in the store. Of course, even if I was rich I wouldn’t really do that. Well, if I did perhaps not any of the unhealthy stuff. I am trying to lose weight so I don’t want to sabotage my progress. I am going to do another weight loss update around September first.

Tonight’s dinner was my least favorite thing in the world. I hate beef and rice. mom made a great effort to make ti taste good, but no amount of seasoning can save the churches beef chunks. My church helps people with food if they need it but some of the stuff they have to give isn’t all that great. It was edible, but I think I’ll stay away from it for good this time. Rice with other things is great, but I just hate the beef mainly. One thing I ate a lot of today was spaghetti squash. I love that stuff so much. Anyway, I’ll get some pictures of the food we get. right now we are getting help from church because we have been a bit financially. I love being LDS, even if people do have a lot of misconceptions about us.

I am proud of the women’s gymnastics team, they are great so far at these Olympics.  I will give my thoughts on them when they are done with everything though. For tonight I’ll just leave it at this.

Chopping Off the Locks

Today I went to vocational rehab again and was actually stuck there for nearly two hours while Judy typed up all the info to send to the government so I can get help for school. Book money and stuff like that. She had to know my financial status, and a whole lot of personal info. I brought her my grades like she asked from spring semester and also brought a new book list, tuition cost paper, and class schedule.  To be honest I still have my doubts about taking French this semester, but I’ll try my best. She said I could drop that class if it becomes too hard for me.  One thing I’m anxious about is that I have to do the pell grant SAP (satisfactory academic progress) appeal so I can get the pell grant to pay for school. I have to at least try and fix my inelegebility for that or vocational rehab can’t pay for college. They want the pell grant to pay as much as it can and the. They do the rest. I’m a bit nervous because I looked at all the stuff I need for the appeal and I don’t understand all of it. I failed my first two semesters and then had to withdraw from one in fall 2013 so that messed up my pell grant elegebility and vocational rehab has been paying every semester, but this time I guess they need me to try to get the pell grant. I think things are getting more strict there or something.

Anyway, after all that stuff with Judy and waiting for everything to be typed up I finally got to leave. I have to go to school tomorrow and ask about the requirements for the pell grant appeal. I get that I’m supposed to tell them what happened with those three semesters I had trouble in and what has changed, but the rest I’m fuzzy on. I hate paperwork…

Mom and I actually got to go to one of the local outdoor shopping centers to look for Pokemon. There is this shop that sells toys, games and candy that I think is the cutest thing ever. Mom loved it and thought it was charming as well. I found out about it when I was out with friends last year. I’ll have to get pictures sometime.

After I was done at vocational rehab I ate a B-UP bar (cookie dough flavored) for a late lunch and since my hair appointment was at 6:30 and it was 3 hours away I had mom drop me off at the mall. I wanted to show off my new shirt anyway.

I just walked around for a while and eventually got my haircut! One thing I really like doing when I’m at the mall is checking out all the rings at S.L. Sorry I have to omit names, I do it for privacy. It’s basically a little jewelry kiosk. I got my ears pierced there a year ago. I’ll have to get pictures of their stuff sometime. I also made a stop by work and got a frozen lemonade. I got the raspberry one. I was planning on staying away from sugar again, but I really wanted a lemonade. Anyway, I am glad my hairstylist Brenna is back from maternity leave. She is the only one I trust with my hair. She did a great job tonight Here is is below. It took about an hour for Brenna to do it.

I am happy with it and it’s so easy to manage! Oh, but one thing I forgot to mention when I was talking about walking around the mall is that my favorite grilled cheese place Melty Way closed down! I’m so heart broken. Stuff like this happens on a regular basis at the mall. It really is a tragic thing to say the least.

Anyway, dad picked me up and I went home and got to show off my new cut.

A Bit of Thrift Store Luck

Natalie had a violin lesson today and I took the opportunity to go with her and Laura to the music store. I ditched them soon after of course and they knew I was going to do this. I decided to go walking down the street to the mall. I actually wasn’t there for long because I wanted to go back and walk down the street to do other things. I made a brief stop to Good earth and got some B-UP protein bars. I got one cinnamon roll one and one caramel vanilla one. I meant to get a sugar cookie one but this guy came out of nowhere and just decided he wanted all of them. It was really weird, but I am happy with the ones I got. Mom used to work at Good Earth, but she quit after about 13 years. She had the put up with a horrible manager during her last few years but she was recently fired. Mom is actually thinking of going back because we need the money and she thinks it’ll be better again. I don’t know how I fell about that and don’t really trust or like most of the employees anymore.

I headed north down the street I was on and decided to make a stop at Walgreens to just look around. I’m thinking of buying a new razor because the one I use right now really sucks. I also might buy hair dye there the next time I do my hair. I usually get it at Sally's Beauty Supply which I also visited today, but I’m not sure yet. I’m not even sure what color I want to do yet to be honest.

In the end I ended up at a local thrift store down the street. I have gotten quite good at finding stuff I like on the racks. There are so many random things to look through it takes a lot of patience. I love looking through everything because there are some pretty funny things on the racks sometimes. Some are just too flamboyant for me to believe anyone would wear them. I always get a good laugh from it all. Today I struck a bit of good luck where finding stuff I like is concerned. Of course, some of it didn’t fit as that usually happens every time I go there. I managed to find two shirts I like, but am not going to do photos today. You will see them eventually, I guarantee that. One is black and white and one is yellow with a colorful design. I am happy with what I found and can’t wait to go there again in a few weeks. I wanted some real food after being there for probably an hour and a half looking at everything so I went to Cafe Rio and got a half beef and half chicken salad. i LOVE Cafe Rio. tortilla, rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, meat, chips, dressing, etc. the whole thing tastes super good. I called mom and she came and got me from there because I really did not want to ride the bus again.

The rest of the day really isn’t important. I’ll just leave it at this. If I pressure myself to write too many details I burn myself out and lose my motivation to write.🙂

Flashback

I know I haven’t written in 10 days, I am still working on my procrastination problem. I am determined to tackle it before my 25th birthday in July. I would hate to make the big mistake of not writing anything in the 2nd quarter of my life like I did in this one. I suppose starting to write in my journal and / or blog at 17 wasn’t too bad, but now people will be missing so much. My life before that was quite interesting. There are a lot of details about my younger years that I have forgotten so sadly you will only hear it in fragments now and then in my entries.

I guess now I should catch you up. I have a lot to tell. I will just start from yesterday and go backwards. I will do today’s entry separately. If you find this confusing, I suggest you read the paragraphs backwards or something like that. :)

21st

The day started out with dad making pancakes. He makes the best buttermilk pancakes in the world. I had them with cherry raspberry rhubarb  spread and a bit of butter on top. I had some of my sister’s home made bread also for breakfast.

I got my stuff ready to go to the gym, I decided to wear my green tank top and my green headband. Instead of bringing them with me I decided to just wear them on the way there. I grabbed my backpack and bus pass and left to catch the bus.

I switched up my routine at the gym and did more of what my personal trainer told me to do. I alternated 25 pull ups, 20 sit ups, 20 push ups and 30 squats 3 or 4 times. I did some cardio for 30 minutes, did two more rounds of my routine and then 30 more minutes of cardio. I finished up with 20 minutes of swimming, 10 minutes in the steam room and then a shower. Once I was cleaned up I did my usual routine of going to See’s Candies in the mall, and getting the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken samples from the food court. This time they gave me a butterscotch chew at See’s candies, I love those. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention that the swimsuit dryer at the gym ate the green headband somehow, it was bizarre. I won’t be putting my headbands in there anymore with my swimsuit.

After looking at shoes in some of the stores I went to Farr’s ice cream and got a cup of half salty Carmel and half pistachio, went outside and caught the bus home.

Nothing all that great happened after I got home I was pretty tired and so I took a nap while I listened to Harry Potter for about a half an hour. Other than that I just listened to music, watched a few episodes of Ben 10, and some minecraft videos on youtube.

20th

I stayed up late the night before so I slept in really late. My day didn’t start until around 3pm. Days that I don’t go to the gym I usually don’t do much. I went for an hour long walk, I like listening to techno music and thinking about friends and other stuff when I take walks. Other than that I started watching random My Little Pony commentaries, and started watching Sailor Moon again.

19

I ate a big breakfast and got ready to go to the gym. I couldn’t find my shoes so I had to go grab my asic running shoes. I wasn’t very happy about this because I hadn’t broken them in and I was saving them for much later when I can actually run.

This was the day I started doing more arm and ab workouts. I also tried out some of the other cardio machines like the star stepper and something similar. I did not do any swimming this day so I cleaned up when I got home instead.  I ate some Cheerios and apple slices before I left and went to See’s candies to get a sample. They gave me a coconut cream flavored chocolate covered in dark chocolate.

When I got home I spent most of the day just doing the usual, you know listening to music and random internet stuff. One thing I did that I normally don’t do a lot is try and find past friends. I actually successfully managed to find my childhood best friend Eric on Facebook and his wife. It looks like they are very happy. I sent him one last message saying how sorry I was for how I acted in my teens, and for being such a jerk to the person that he ended up married to. I didn’t add him or anything, but left it like that. I want him to remember me in a good way, not the way I left our friendship 6 years ago.

18th (read 17 first)

I couldn’t find a ride to church so I attended it at the nearby chapel. After I was done there I went home and just relaxed. We celebrated my sister’s birthday again mom made garlic chicken, rice pilaf, and salad. We had coconut cream pie again for dessert. More of us are able to be together on Sundays without work and stuff.

I randomly started searching for social networks for introverts sometime in the evening. I found one called Anomo, it’s an app for android and iphone.

17th

Had a dream that these men were after me snd wanted me for some reason I’m not sure of. I remember one of them was fat though. I went to Darik snd Dylan’s house and found places to hide. Was going to hide in the closet but it was full, was. I remember something about finding some place to hide in a big drawer under the bed. Something about various people wondering about where I was, something about a flexible sword with snake like qualities. Dylan imposter or something like that, thought it was Dylan or maybe it was but I don’t know. I don’t think I got hurt, he might have left me alone after trying to pull out the drawer he pulled out the bed I was scared.

I remember something about escaping to a space ship and going to a pokemon planet or something. I think I was an alien. I’m not sure about this part. I think it was connected to the first part but not sure. The dream changed. I remember something like trying to find Dylan in a bowling alley and then at a club, friends were with me and then with nieces for some reason. Finding Dylan at the party or someone like him. Something at the party about lord of the rings VIP party that cost over 1000 dollars, I think was a party club pass membership or something. Went and found some stairs, there was a long line. Previously decided not to buy admission to other floor of party. Downstairs there were Instagram picture booths where groups and people were taking pictures thought Dylan might be there had a picture taken by some people I had on weird circle glasses on that had changed dark because of the lights. Went upstairs cause nieces or someone was calling. It was pretty random.

Had a Ben 10 marathon, didn’t have anything else to do. It was my sister’s birthday and she went out for lunch. Later we had coconut cream pie, we didn’t have enough money to do anything else together. I spent the rest of the evening playing around with my computer changing the colors, font styles, and overall theme. I figured out how to make my browser colors high contrast.

16th

After I ate breakfast on this day and made the usual preparations I headed off to the gym. This day was the first day that I officially saw my personal trainer at the gym. We talked about my goals, nutrition and went through my routine. I nearly passed out when he had me do a quarter of a mile as fast as I could on the elliptical. I think I felt sick for 10 minutes after that. Anyway, that is all we had time for, he set up our next appointment, sent me an email with my routine and we said goodbye to each other. After this I just did my usual stuff.

After I was done I got a cashew brittle sample at See’s candies and also made a stop at The Body Shop. I wasn’t sure if I was going to buy anything, but I ended up buying some new foundation, powder, lipstick, blush, and lip gloss. I also got a membership card to get a discount. The card cost me $10, but it’ll come in handy in the future.

In my blog notes I have something about a video written, but unfortunately I have no clue what that is about. This is why I take more detailed notes now. -.-

We had shepherds pie sometime in the evening and I actually fell asleep early.

15th

Sadly I don’t have any notes for this day, I remember it was boring though. I think this was the day I meant to catch up on, including the stuff before my May 12th entry. I’m still planning on doing that here.

14th

This was the day I set up my appointment with my personal trainer. I asked someone at the front desk to send a trainer my way because I’d never set one up before or scheduled or anything so I had no idea what to do. This was also the first day I wore the tank tops I bought the week before. I’ll talk about that day later.

I did some makeup window shopping after I was done at the gym. I went home after this and accidentally took a longer nap than I intended. This was while my sister and my niece went to my other niece’s violin concert. I’m not too fond of violins so I’m holding off on going until she is better. She is only 12 right now so there is a lot of room for improvement.

After I woke up from my nap I realized I was really behind on my calories and it was around 9pm or something so I had to think up something fast. I ended up making some eggs with cheese and ketchup on top. They were scrambled eggs. I make my scrambled eggs mixed with cottage cheese because it makes them fluffy and stuff. After I ate I started watching D-Grey-Man and I did that for the test of the night.

13.

Boring day, I don’t think anything worth note happened. This was the day after my last entry.

Now to the stuff before my last two entries. This shouldn’t take too long. I’ll try to not be overly detailed. This is everything in the first 10 or so days of May.

***************************
Well, usually when a new month comes around, I get my bus pass from vocational rehab. They know that I need a means to get around and so they have been providing me with bus passes so I can get around and job hunt and stuff. It just so happened that my sister needed to go get some medical papers for a school meeting for one of my nieces on the day I needed to get my bus pass and so she took me to the office. It didn’t take long, she drove me up to the office and I was in and out of there in a matter of minutes. We left right after to go pick up the papers she needed. Once we were done we went out to eat at Whendy’s. I got a spicy chicken sandwitch and a frosty. I guess my sister lost track of time and so we suddenly found ourselves in a hurry because she had to get to my niece’s school meeting.

She didn’t have enough time to take me home and so we just headed straight to the school, it isn’t too far from where we live.  When we got to the school, we met up with dad that had just walked over to meet us. He wasn’t sure if the house was open or not, he told me to go and check. He thought that my sister would drop me off at home, so he wasn’t prepared. He and my sister went inside the school building and I walked home hoping that the door was opened. It’s a good thing I didn’t get my hopes up, because the door was locked, in fact both doors were locked. I walked back to the school and tried calling my dad again, but he didn’t answer. He had told me that he would be out in a little while, but I had my doubts.

My phone was almost dead and I didn’t have my wallet or anything, so I just sat outside on the car, and then after a while on the grass. I waited and waited and waited, and i got more and more and more irritated. Basically it was two hours before dad gave up and came out. He said he thought it was going to be shorter, but it turned out to be a lot longer and more important than he thought it was going to be. I was in a very bad mood, but I hid that fact. On top of everything and the fact that I wanted to go to walmart and to the gym 2 hours earlier I had gotten a very bad sunburn. I just wanted to get as far away for a while as possible after that bad experience. I hurried up and got my stuff together, i wasn’t sure if I was going to get to go to the gym because I wanted to buy some workout stuff at Walmart before I went there. I wasn’t sure how long I was going to take, but wanted to be prepared anyway just in case I did have enough time left.

Dad saved me some time by taking me to the bus stop that had the bus that went straight to walmart. originally I would have had to take a bus to that bus stop and then catch that bus to walmart. I was glad hat I got to save probably 45 minutes. Anyway, I had to wait a few minutes for the next bus, but I was fine with that. When I go to walmart I was there for a lot longer than I originally intended. I tried on a ton of different sports bras, and some tank tops. With my new sunburn it was pretty uncomfortable, but I lived through it. In the end I got six different bras, 4 were sports bras and 2 were regular bras. I picked out black, blue, and green tank tops. got some cranberry juice, bai 5 juice, and something else i don’t remember anymore. I walked around the store for a while after that because i realized i didn’t have enough time to go to the gym anymore. I just love taking my sweet time shopping… alone.

By the time I was done the buses had stopped running, buses over here stop running after 6:30, and it was after 8, so I called my dad, waited outside for a while, and he took me home. Nothing much happened after that, I just spent the evening watching random stuff online and just hanging around the house. I showed the things i bought to my mom. My sunburn was pretty bad by now and it had come out in full.

I made the mistake of going to the gym the next day, I was okay working out with my sunburn, but when it came to swimming when I put on my halter top swim suit it was so incredibly painful. On top of this I actually was crazy enough to get into the hot tub, I’m sure THAT was horrid for my burn, I guess I wasn’t thinking about it enough. It’s probably a good thing that i did not go into the sauna or the steam room that day. When I got into the pool I got some relief, but I was so glad when I go to take that swim suit off. After that trip to the gym I made my monthly purchase from See’s Candies and then went home. I learned my lesson after that trip to the gym and took a break the following week from the gym. This stuff happened during the first weekend of May.

Anyway, because I decided to stay away from the gym due to my really bad sunburn for the first full week of May that week wasn’t really all that eventful. Of course there is the possibility that I forgot some things because that week i did not take any blog notes. that is a mistake I will not be making again. Most of this post would not have been possible if I had not gotten into that habit now.

One thing i do remember is that I was on a Veronica Mars marathon for a lot of it, I actually finished the series and the movie by last week. I also went to the Cinco De Mayo carnival at a local elementary school, it was a pretty awesome thing. Every year they throw a carnival to raise funds for the school. You can get various punch passes for various amounts of money. I got a 40 count punch pass for $10 dollars. I used it on things like cotton candy, hand made bead rings, nachos, chips and salsa after the nachos, and spinning a wheel for candy. There were a ton of people there and there was bidding on cool baskets, there was face painting, a giant inflatable slide, a rock wall, a candy cannon, and a lot of other stuff I don’t remember. I went to last years carnival and it was just as cool, only back then I got to bid on one of the baskets. I didn’t win the bid, but it was still fun.

Anyway, if I remember anything else later I will talk about it in future entries, the same goes for any memories before I started blogging. I will be sharing those memories from time to time randomly. This entry took me a long time to write and a lot of patience and I am done now, so i am going to go take a break and sit back and be proud of myself. Hope you enjoyed the post! :)

Working Out

A lot has happened lately so let me fill you in on as much as I remember.

First off I got a gym membership almost a month ago. I've been going 3 or 4 times a week. I am starting to lose weight finally and I am happy about this. I go to Gold's Gym and I always have an awesome time there. When I go I usually do a little bit of everything, though lately I've just been doing a lot of cardio. I felt after a few weeks there I should focus on cardio, because that has been one of my weak spots for most of my life. I am going to get back into the weight machines and stuff soon, probably tomorrow. They have so many weight machines in the one I go to it's so cool! One of my other weak spots is my arms, I have weak arms and I need to fix that. One thing I love to do when I am at the gym is listen to music or books while I am working out, it makes me so much more enjoyable. I also watch cartoons on the TVs a lot when I am there. Stuff like this helps me concentrate and keep my motivation up a lot.

Two of my favorite things at the gym are the classesa nd the pool. There are all kinds of classes at Gold's gym. I haven't been doing them lately, but they have classes like Yoga, Pilates, Cycling, swimming, etc. I am planning on getting to a lot of their classes more often. The other thing I love is the pool, it's kind of small and only has three lanes, but it works out just fine. I love water fitness so i try to get at least 20 or 30 minutes in when I go. If the pool weren't cool enough there is also a hot tub, a sauna, and a steam room. I am quite fond of the whole area all around, it is pretty neat. One thing I've had to do however is when I swim I try and keep my ears above water. I need to get earplugs because my left ear really hates water and I usually have problems if I get too much water in it.

I am planning on buying some workout clothes soon, I've had to be a little creative this past month with workout clothes. I have shorts, but i don't think they are the right ones, I need better ones. When I bought my shorts this month I thought they would work out better, but my legs rub together a lot when I am on the treadmill and it get's uncomfortable after a while. I think I might need something a bit longer. So far as shirts go I just use whatever I have in my closet that works good for working out. I don't have very many workout shirts, probably 1 or 2 at best. Most of my clothes aren't suited for the gym. I think I might get another pair of shoes as well, I'm sure it couldn't hurt for the treadmill or something like that. I definitely need mores ports bras though, that is a big priority for me now that I am working out a lot more.

I am slowly losing weight, I am excited to get further in my progress. i don't really care how long it takes to reach my goal weight as long as I get there eventually. My goal weight is 121 lbs. I am just feeling super good in general now that I am becoming more in shape, I have a long way to go, but I know if I keep working at it I will progress and get better at a lot of things and stronger. Right now I can only lift 10 pound weights. I'm not aiming to be a muscle woman or anything like that but I do want my arms to not be weak haha.

I burned my first 1000 calories this month as well at the gym. I've never burned more than 500 calories before. I do that all the time now, but the first time it felt so great. I always use MyFitnessPal as well when I work out so I can keep track of the calories I eat and burn. I have to be careful that I don't eat too little when I burn this much.

One of my goals is to get to a point where I can run. Right now I just kind of walk fast, but when i get to 150 lbs I can run. It's bad for my joints to run at the weight I am now, so I just walk, but once i get down to that amount of weight I am going to start training for a 5k right away. I kind of figure that is a good place to start.

Anyway usually I walk through the mall a bit before  and / or after i go to the gym. I love going to See's Candies and getting a sample after I am done working out. There are a couple of food places in the food court I get samples from as well. Sometimes i go through the clothing and shoe stores or the other stores to see if there is anything I need. I try not to go window shopping too often because then I start really wanting stuff. haha.

I've been sticking close to the mall this past month. I did go to the Farrs ice cream shop, but other than that I haven't been to any other places besides the Gym and the mall because I've been pretty tired after I work out and I spend so much time over at the gym currently it takes up a lot of my time. I am planning on getting out more to other places soon though. I need to renew my Barnes and Noble Membership in May so I expect I'll go and make a trip there soon.

My niece had a birthday this month, we went out to eat on one day and on another day when we were all together we had cupcakes and stuff at my brothers house. We usually have two seperate days for birthdays because we are always so busy.

The post before my last post I mentioned that I ordered some stress / fidget toys. I was going to update right when I got them in the mail, but I fell off of the blogosphere again and quit writing. I got my stress toys a couple of days after i wrote that post. I love them to death, they are so relaxing and take away a lot of my sensory overload. Here is a picture and a video. :)

If you notice I uploaded it a couple of days ago that is because I moved to a different Youtube channel and a different email so I am uploading everything again. I didn't want to be stuck with two different youtube channels so i got rid of my old one and moved over to the new one. I am using a universal username for pretty much everything now, mostly gaming stuff. My new email is midnistarz@gmail.com and my work and professional email is liahna@ymail.com. This wouldn't be the first time I have switched to a different email and stuff. I have done it once more in the past and that worked out pretty well so I'm sure this will as well. I still have to change the email addresses of a few sites I am a member of, but I'm in no hurry to do that. If i got on a website I am a member of I'll change it right away. I already took care of the important ones like facebook and twitter and stuff like that.

I did this artwork not to long after my last post. It was mostly a product of boredom. It has a lot of different names. Every time I post it somewhere I forget the previous name I gave it, it's really rather funny. Let's just call it Balanced Elements for today haha. I could go check on the photo site i originally posted it on, but i don't feel like it.

Anyway earlier this month we had General Conference. For those of you that are reading this but aren't Mormon / LDS, that is a church thing we have every six months. There are 5 sessions that last 2 hours each and there are various people that are mostly church leaders that give spiritual talks. One of the meetings is only for men, the women have theirs a week earlier. Anyway I can't remember what the talks were about, i will have to probably read them again. The talks are on a very wide spectrum of church topics though. The choir sings and the beginning, middle, and end of the sessions. Usually there is a musical number before and after the prayer at the beginning and sometimes in certain sessions there is a guest choir. There is no church the weekend General Conference happens. General Conference more than makes up for it though.

My parents didn't have time to prepare very much for Easter dinner this year because they were doing the big Messiah concert the whole week previous. My parents were too exhausted and didn't have enough preparation to do anything very big this year so we had a small dinner with deviled eggs and salad and we had out real dinner this past weekend. Some of my family members went to the messiah concert which was over 2 and a half hours long, i didn't go though. I stayed at home and chilled out. One thing we did get done all the way this Easter was the Easter egg hunt. My sister and I made sure we didn't hide the real eggs if any difficult spaces. There were 40 real eggs and we only missed one according to my sister and my mom. Personally I think we didn't miss any though because i remember there only being 40 real eggs.

The fake ones were a different story entirely. My sister and dad were the ones that hid the fake ones that had the candy and nuts in them. Some of them were hidden inside, but most of them were hidden very skillfully outside. I didn't help much with the fake ones because I didn't know where they were. I mostly took care of the real ones. At the end of the Easter egg hunt we were missing 25 out of 144 fake eggs. I somehow think we will never find them. I think they might have been hidden a bit too well. I'm sure the ants had a field day with the missing eggs.

Anyway Nothing much has happened this week and as for today i am going to write a separate post for that after this. If i forgot anything you will hear about it in in the future, and probably in more detail than if I were to put it here. This post is already super long haha. :)

Shopping For My Own Presents

No, I'm not telling you what they are. You will have to wait to know what I got today at Walmart. Let's just say there were some things that my parents couldn't buy for me. I never let my parents buy my (accessories) without me seeing them first. I have no idea what the other presents my parents got me were, but I'm sure they got me stuff I will like without any doubt.

I was looking for a micro bead pillow, or some other good pillow. I don't think the pillows I am using right now are good enough, I need something better. I also looked at hair stuff, and my mom got some white chocolate for chocolate covered pretzels on Monday. I never found the pillow I wanted, nor did I find any new hair stuff I liked, but I did find some cute Perry the Platypus Slippers. Unfortunately for me I couldn't find them in my size this time, but I will be back. My love for Phineas and Ferb will make sure I remember those slippers and get them some other time.

It's been a boring day. I mediocre boring, dull day. Besides the store trip (that was fun) I haven't really done anything that is really worth noting. I never really expect anything that interesting to happen on the weekends, that makes it so much nicer when nice stuff does happen.

I'll let this go for today, I don't have to have a lot to talk about every day. It's okay to have boring days sometimes. I have something fun planned for this blog soon anyway, so I guess having the extra time is good this time. :)

Peppermint

When I originally decided I wanted to learn how to play the Cello it was because it reminded me of the voice of the guy I liked at the time. That has evolved into true love for the instrument now. I love the sound and the feel of the Cello, the vibrations, the sensations that it causes In my fingers as I use the bow to play it. I am hardly even a novice at it, but I still love the Cello to death. I can’t wait to get the broken string fixed.
I had a good night sleep last night. I at least for 7 hours of good sleep due to the fact I went to bed earlier. I was so wiped out after seeing the hobbit and writing my last post that I just wanted to sleep, to just crash and dream and rest. It didn’t take me long to surrcumb to the dream world.

I’ve been watching movies for most of the day. I’ve watched “Road to Terabithia”, “Toy Story”, and “Holes”. It’s been a while since I have seen some of those movies, and it was nice to see them again. I ate some of the left over movie popcorn from yesterday, and also had some of these white chocolate covered almonds that I found upstairs.
I have been working on some song lyrics and new poems today. I don’t know how long it will take me to finish them, but when I do I’ll share some of them on here. I love sharing the stuff I write with you guys. I hope to actually be able to make music for the lyrics I write someday. It will probably be a while, but someday I’ll share some songs when I finally learn how to play an instrument.
I went to the store earlier and bought some dark chocolate peppermint candy, peppermint ice cream, and some cherry chocolate, and raspberry cheesecake flavored cocoa. I was originally going to buy some white chocolate cocoa, but they were out, so I got those flavors instead. I am not surprised in the least that it was gone; it has been dreadfully cold this week. The cocoa supply at the store was down in general, not just the white chocolate, it was obvious that it is a very popular item lately.
I usually do not buy candy, but I was craving peppermint and chocolate like crazy today. I usually would not listen to my craving, but it’s almost Christmas, so I can have a little bit of fun.
I spent some time this evening revisiting the memory of over 2 years ago when I was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. My family and I were backup singers for the Smashing Pumpkins. I had fun, but I think I looked dreadful on camera, not to mention I was way more overweight back then. I had fun, but it is still one of my most embarrassing memories ever. My mom made us dress like we were going to church and we were backup singers for a ROCK BAND! I am not the only one that thought it was off. I’ve looked at comments from various places and a lot of people thought we didn’t really do that great. It would have been fine if it was just my brothers and sisters, or even just me, Linda, and my brothers, but it was our whole family and we didn’t have the right sound or the look for the job. I would have done things way different if it was me in charge. I still pray that no one will ever find the video or see what I looked like, that would be horrible. I hate makeup so much and I looked like a clown in all that stage makeup. I never truly loathed makeup until that happened.
I've been thinking about how nice it would be if Xanga added more fonts. When I type up my posts I type them up in MS Word and I use this font called Segoe Print. I wish they had that on here, I love that font. That is possibly one of the few things I dislike about Xanga, is it's lack of fonts. That font is pretty close to my actual handwriting, but unlike my handwriting it's actually readable and looks nice (haha).
Anyway I’m going to go make some cocoa, read, watch some stuff, or something like that. I’m going to try and relax as much as possible tonight. It's been a good day today. tomorrow is going to be interesting for sure though. So many things are happening.  :)

Braced

Last Saturday was pretty boring, I just did a little bit of homework, it was pretty uneventful. I did go to the store a few times, we bought shaving cream, de-oderant, and some new Spry mouth wash. We also went to Costco and I bought some new camisoles, and bread. I went to the store a third time, but I don't remember what else I got, that part was a little blurry. I spent most of the day watching stuff on Netflix, just hanging out at home and doing stuff with the family. Nothing of much note to write about Saturday.

Sunday I had to wake up around the same time I do on the other days of the week (9am). We had another Stake Conference, it's a special 2 hour meeting we have twice a year in my church, kind of like General Conference, only in a much smaller area. I have no idea why they did another one since we just had one a month ago. I woke up late because I went to bed late, but called someone for a ride, threw on my clothes, and left soon after I woke up. It was just in time, if I had called my ride even a few seconds later it would have been too late. I really did not want to get up at that point in time, I was so tired. When I got to the meeting I ended up sleeping through the whole 2 hours of the meeting. I don't remember anything they talked about, but I'm probably going to ask people what they talked about. It was around noon when the meeting ended and we left. There was crazy traffic getting out of the church parking lot, it took us probably 15 minutes to get out of there.

I was glad when we got home, I took a nap, and hung out with my family for the rest of the day. I spent a lot of the time watching anime, and preparing my English paper. I was so stressed out about the English paper I didn't get much done on Sunday. I really try not to do homework on Sunday, and even though I tried to do some it didn't work out too well. I gave up after a while and just decided to relax.

Monday was pretty good, we talked about how to cite references, I left early to get to Astronomy earlier. In astronomy we talked about stuff like star clusters, more about nebulae, and other star related stuff. In Pilates we did a bunch of stuff with those big round balls they use in Pilates. I have been waiting weeks to get to that part, I love the big balls, they are a lot of fun to use.  We did stuff like balancing, using them to work out, and some other stuff. If I can find a proper video to demonstrate I will post it later.

After class was done, I went and got my stuff out of my locker, called my dad for a ride and went to SubWay and got a sandwich, a cookies, and a Dr. Pepper. I then walked to the library where he was picking me up. I got there just in time, because he pulled up 3 minutes after I got there. The line for SubWay had been long, and I was a little worried I would miss him, but I didn't.  I had also gotten some coconut ice cream before my Pilates class. I always like to have a little bit of fun on the first Monday of every month. I usually do not eat out this much, I prefer home cooked food. We went to the bank when we left the school after we picked up my mom from work.

After we got done with the bank, I reminded my mom and dad that we needed to go to the medical supply store to get me my brace finally. I have had wrist troubles for years, mostly caused by my Ganglion Cyst that I get from repetitive movement of my wrist. it causes movement to be painful. They go away if you stop the movement enough. I could get a surgery to get it removed, but there is no guarantee that it will not come back, the wrist brace was a better alternative by far. I love wearing it and my wrist is already improving, I can tell that much already. As long as I wear it enough my problems should go away for good. I will probably be using a brace for good from now on. I don't have to wear it all the time though.

Anyway, after I got home I finished my English paper, and did some other things not really worth noting.  I was really super happy when I finished my first draft of my English paper, it's so much easier to do the others when you have the first one done.

I learned just how bad the wasp problem in our house is yesterday, they are getting pretty big in number now, we have had this problem for a while and don't know how to get rid of them I hope we won't have to go to an exterminator for help, because my family hates poison. We killed around 30 or more in the house between yesterday and today alone. There are a lot more outside though. I have had to be careful and keep my door shut at all times so they don't come into my room. I even go as far as to turn off my light whenever I go out, so I don't attract them with the light, they like light.

So today I got woken up by my sister, she asked me if I wanted to go vote with her, we were going to vote, and then leave early for school because she had a doctor's appointment. I had to put on the finishing touches on my English paper and eat and stuff first though, so I declined going with her then. I got dressed, at breakfast, did the final little touches on my first draft, and then printed it. I then watched anime for a while and then just hung out while I was waiting for her. The voting lines took longer than she though, so we ended up leaving late, instead of early.

I was late for my institute class, but managed to participate a lot more than I usually do though. We talked about why some of the people in the book of Mormon acted like they acted and did what they did. It was an over all very entertaining class today. I did leave a bit early so I could get to my English class early though.  In English (we work in the computer lab on Tuesdays) we worked on our papers. I had someone do a peer review of my paper, and then I did my 2nd draft, it didn't take very long. that was pretty much all we did the whole class time. I did peek at my astronomy test score though, I got a 78 / 100! I was and am still very very happy about that.  I ended up leaving English early today as well because i finished my 2nd draft early.

They were giving out free cotton candy when I got out of my English class, it was green apple flavored. I just walked around the school, got a yogurt parfait, and walked through the school store for a bit before yoga. After a while I went to my locker, got out my workout clothes, put my stuff in my locker and went and got dressed. When I got to the yoga studio there was no one there, I guess the previous class was cancelled (someone teaches Zumba before), so I just put down my mat and slept until class started. Today we worked on forearm stand, hand stands, and some other standing poses that you get into from downward facing dog pose.  It was a really fun class, challenging, and got my heart rate up a decent amount.

After class ended I just went back to my locker after putting my pants on over my yoga pants, called my sister, and she picked me up. In the time I was waiting for her I made an appointment with the school's writing center so they could help me with my 3rd draft for my paper. We went to go get my mom from work after we left the school. When we got home my mom got my dad and we went over to our local school to vote. The line was non existent, everyone had voted earlier. I voted for Mitt Romney, and some other people, and when I was done, I gave someone my voting card, grabbed some candy they had, and went home. I have just been hanging around watching the election and stuff. I am bummed out that Romney lost, I hope our country will be okay. Hopefully Obama will give me a good reason to like him this time around. I have my fingers crossed.

Anyway so those were my past few days. I have other stuff to say, but I'll stop here for now. :)

If I forgot anything I will just add it tomorrow.

Passed Out

So I woke up around 9am. I got dressed, was kind of half asleep. I did not feel like getting up, but I did none the less. I opened my laptop and opened Pandora Radio, and played my Queen station. My sister made me a lunch for later, I had a protein shake for breakfast because I didn't feel like eating anything else for breakfast today. I took out the un-nessicary books that I would not need to carry out of my bag, except for my Astronomy book, I wasn't sure if I wanted to look that one over or not.  I talked to Ronnie a little before school, but not much.

I left for school around 10:20am. I was still feeling really tired about then. I got dropped off by my sister at the Institute of Religion building. There is a lot of construction going on over near where the building is, so it was pretty noisy. When I got into the building I had to look through the list of classes and choose a couple. I decided on the 11am Book of Mormon class, and the 12 noon Old testament class. Taking institute classes is pretty normal for people around here that are LDS, even some non LDS people take them. You don't really get credit for them, but they are usually pretty fun, have awesome teachers, and don't really have any work at all. You can just listen or whatever.

I have this tradition every first day and last day of Institute where I always buy a Red Cream Soda before class and drink it in my first class. The first time I did it it was kind of on a whim, but I decided to do it from then on. I don't usually drink that much soda, so it is that much better when I do. Red Cream Soda is my favorite carbonated drink.

Anyway, Both my classes went off pretty good, we were just introduced to the classes and the material we are going to be going over through the semester. We did some getting to know you stuff, had to fill out a few things, and other than that nothing really happened at my institute classes today. My teacher in the first class did tell some really good stories and was absolutely hilarious the whole time. I think I am going to have a lot of fun with my Institute classes.  We had name tags in my first one, I did my traditional thing and plastered stars all over it. haha.  I sent Ronnie a text  during my first class telling him when I would be available again, then went back to what I was doing.

I actually was supposed to go to a meeting with one of the councilors at the accessibility office around 11am, but totally forgot. Since I have pretty bad vision this is a regular thing every semester, they just make sure I have everything I need to be able to get through my classes okay. I only had to visit them probably like 4 times last semester. I am pretty independent and usually do not need help very often with my vision problems because I am so well adapted even without glasses or contacts.

I actually left half way through my 2nd institute class and made another appointment, and then came back to my 2nd Institute class after that.

After Institute I ate lunch. My sister packed me an Egg and cheese sandwich, a fruit cup, a nut bar, a juice box, and a V8. They were all pretty great. I was so full by the time I was done. I actually did a crazy thing and went ahead and bought a Sobe Lifewater after this, I have no idea why, I guess it is just a school habit.

I wandered around campus for a while, looking at the books in the bookstore, walking into the school store (the one that has the ice cream shop in it. I'll have to get pictures). and just looked around. I didn't do much besides eat lunch and wander around between classes. I actually went up to my Yoga classroom early because I had nothing better to do, and just played around with my phone for a bit taking pictures of stuff and playing games.

It was around 10 or 15 minutes later before everyone was there, the teacher arrived and we started things. I was kind of surprised by my teacher's appearance. I actually thought that it was going to be a Chinese guy because his name is Russ Lee.  I felt totally amused at myself after I saw that he looked like a blonde haired rock star. Long hair, cook beard, really in shape.  Not what I was expecting (I was expecting him to be in shape), but he is even more cool than what I expected. I can tell that I am going to have so much fun in Yoga. Today he just explained the details of the class since it was the first day of the class. We went over the syllabus and just got to know the different things we are going to get to do. He made it very clear that it is going to be hard, but I am fine with that. That is actually part of the reason I chose the class, the other ones being that I just love Yoga and wanted to learn it better, and because I thought it would help me be relaxed a little more and keep my mind off the stresses of my other classes. I took Pilates for these same reasons.

I took a picture of my school bag before my yoga class started.

Anyway, after my yoga class I went to go get my yoga textbook. The line this time was even longer than it was yesterday, and it was like a snake going all over the school bookstore. I was probably in line for like 20 minutes, seriously. I was glad to get it over with. I called my mom and she came and picked me up at the library after this.

We went to a local appliance and furniture store to look at new washers, ours is crazy and we need a new one because it doesn't even work properly. She was looking at washers and I just wandered around the store looking at everything else. They had tons of stuff, beds, desks, couches, living room sets, fridges, ovens, washers and dryers, you get the idea. Near the end of us being there I started watching "Beauty and the Beast" on one of their TV's. It just happened to be playing there.

When we were done there we went to a local mall and looked at some stuff like personal items, shoes, clothes, stuff like that. When we were looking at the shoes I found this really cute pair that I loved, but knew I probably shouldn't get because the heels were so high and it would kill my feet even though they looked so good. I think the heels must have been 4 inches tall. I felt a little crazy for liking them, but I just tried them on anyway and had fun walking around for like 2 minutes.  I took them off and put my regular shoes on after this. I didn't see any other shoes at the store we were at that I liked, not enough to try them on anyway.

We also looked for clothes for my yoga and Pilate's classes, but we didn't find any there that I liked.

We decided to go to the mall that is closer to our house. We went to Sports Authority and looked at all the different yoga pangs and shirts. I usually don't wear stuff that is really tight, but in Yoga and Pilates it is important that nothing can fall down or up. No one wants to show anything they don't want to show (like a shirt falling up if you are in one of the upside down poses), so we have to wear pretty form fitting clothing. I'm just glad I don't look too horrible in my spandex like pants and shirt. haha.

Anyway, after this we bough the stuff and went out for ice cream at a nearby ice cream shop.  I got a Mango Peach tart ice cream, swirled with a coconut ice cream. I put some extra coconut on it. My mom got a chocolate... something ice cream, don't remember what it was.  I really enjoyed my ice cream, it was fabulous. The coconut ice cream in it gave it an extra kick and made it taste even more awesome.

After this we went home. I logged onto Destiny Online after this.  I surfed the net for a while, checked xanga, and then passed out because I was so tired. I am actually typing this after midnight here, but I'll still go ahead and post it on the day I meant to. I am going back to sleep now, so I'll end here.  I actually typed part of this earlier before I fell asleep, but I couldn't finish it because I was practically sleep typing haha. I'm a little disappointed I did not get to talk to Ronnie more today.  I guess there is always tomorrow though. :)

Sunny Rainbows

Busy day today.

My day started with my usual TV watching. Also the thing that actually woke me up was my mom asking if I wanted to go to this church breakfast thing. Today was Pioneer Day in Utah. Pioneer Day is the day the Mormon pioneers first arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. Every year on the 24th of July we celebrate this day.

Nothing much happened until after noon besides my usual stuff like reading manga and that stuff. I didn't go to that church breakfast thing because I was sooo out of it.  Sometime after noon we left for the store.

my sister left her wallet at a store yesterday and someone turned it in. We went and got it. I made a stop by Sally's Beauty Supply while they got the wallet. I was right next door to the store they were in and I picked up some nail polish, hair bands, a nail file, and a nail buffer thing. The colors below are Navy blue, Fluorescent yellow, and sky blue.

After I was done in there we headed over to Petsmart to just look around. My mom had gone to drop off some old stuff somewhere and we were just waiting for her to come back.

After she came back we headed over to Good Earth, our local health food store. We had to buy a bunch of gluten free stuff because 3 of the people in my family are allergic to wheat. I got a mango spritzer (it’s like pop, only it’s more healthy.) I also got some Kefir.

After we were done there we took our groceries home and put them away. I tried out my new nail polish. I wanted to do a picture for Instagram, so I did a layer before I went to Costco.  Nothing much hapened between when we left Good Earth, and when we went to Costco.

We went to Costco, not long after we unloaded our groceries at home. it was fun at Costco today, we actually weren’t down ALL the isles and looked at everything they had. My mom and my sister and I found a lot of stuff we would probably like to buy later.  We didn't buy much, just a bunch of basic things. I don’t remember exactly what we got because i never got a good look at our cart. I was looking at the other stuff in the store and payed little attention to it.

After we bought our stuff we put everything into the trunk, and went home. I snacked on some Kirkland Trail Mix on the way home, I was so hungry.  I had only eaten an ice cream bar, a mouthful of Kefir, and something else I don’t remember. It was around  4 something at the point in the afternoon.

After we got home from Costco I took that instragram picture of my nails with one of my new colors. I DID remove the polish right after though. I wanted to try out my new nail buffer and shiner block thing.

Nothing much happened for a while. We were getting ready to go to a church BBQ nearby. We went there around 5:30. They had all kind of food, salads, desserts, sloppy joe's,  potato salad, a lot of other stuff. There were a lot of people, I didn’t know very many because I go to the young adult ward and not my home ward.

There was this buy on a four wheeler that was pulling people around the grass. He had attached a train of little wagons onto the back of his four wheeler and the children were having a lot of fun being pulled around.  it was really cure to hear their laughter and playful screaming.  There was a double Decker bus nearby that the Flix For Charity people brought. They were going to set up a movie outside, but the weather was starting to look cloudy so they moved the stuff inside just in case.

I ate way too much, and I wasn’t feeling hot so i decided to skip the movie. Around the time I left it sprinkled a little, but the clouds never really gave their rain all that much, we did get a beautiful rainbow though.  Everyone loved the rainbow, it was really amazing. The sun was actually still shining while it was sprinkling, it was pretty amazing.

i got sick of being there, and I was feeling a little bad from eating too much, so I decided to walk home because I couldn’t find my dad. I assumed that he had gone to get my mom. She stayed home because she is doing the HCG diet again and didn’t want to be tempted.  He did go home to get her, but she wasn’t ready yet, so on my way home we actually ran into each other and i decided to stay for a little bit longer until he went back again to get her. i ended up going home with my sister instead though.

Nothing much happened after this until after sunset. We watched a 2 part movie that NBC did a few years back called 10.5. It’s a movie about earthquakes. I guess you could also call it a mini series (a very mini series).  We watched that and just finished it about 20 minutes ago.

My neighbors were shooting off fireworks all over to celebrate the 24th. You could see them in every direction. We are allowed to do fireworks on this day here.  it was really cool to see so many fireworks being set off in the sky. You could even get a good view of them from my kitchen. It was a pretty fun night all in all.

I might edit this tomorrow sometime and add more details. Soooo tired now.

14 Days

Here we go, 2 weeks in 1 post. I will go backwards.  (all the photos are from my Instagram (Empathic_Heart)

EDIT: Photos are up! I'll edit again when I put the videos.

Let's start with today first. It was pretty sunny and hot today. I went to Seven Peaks for a few hours with my sister, ben, and my nieces. Sometimes I have a bad habit of still calling him my brother in law, when he is no longer my brother in law. I just noticed that a few weeks ago.

I went down this tube slide that is very dark called "Cave in". I actually went down it twice, and the 2nd time the lifeguard accidentally sent me down backwards. It was so scary because there is quite a few twists and turns and some minor drops. I of course couldn't see where I was going because I was facing backwards and because it was dark. It was so much fun going backwards though. I got a bit dizzy for a minute or two after I went on for the 2nd time.

I also went down a regular slide called "Flash Flood" before they closed. They have two slides side by side and people like to race. I raced with my sister. It's called "Flash Flood' because they actually release a flood of water to help you start at the beginning. My sister beat me down. I got some water in my nose at the bottom because I got disoriented fora  second in the water and had to let go of my nose. it kind of stung a little, but it was okay.

I spent some time in the wave pool for a while and did the regular rubs slide a few times. I also did some tanning.

We had a picnic at the water park sometime during the time we were there. We had to go tot he park's picnic area. We had sand witches, granola bars, cheez its, Oreos, and Capri Sun.

Besides this I have just been watching Lincoln Heights on Hulu Plus Listening, to music, and watching Sailor Moon.  I actually finished the Alien arc, it's the 2nd arc in the anime, and hung around the house.

Today is also the day I was SUPPOSED to be born according to the doctors.  I was born on the 4th though as you will see further down.

My sister's new music video came out today.

The 16th

There is this charity event they hold every Monday night around 9pm. They have people vote on a movie, and then we watch it out doors. It's called 'Flix for Charity'. We have it behind our local Elementary school. This week we couldn't have it though, because we were sure the weather was going to stay rainy, windy, and cloudy. It ended up clearing up in the evening before the time we usually have it, but it stayed cancelled until next week. They were going to show "the Princess Bride'.

We were going to do a water fight at the nearby park as well, but that was cancelled. That was what we were going to do for ward Family Home Evening.  We ended up going to Marcie's house and reading our favorite children's stories. Marcie gave us some chocolate covered gummy snakes to try that were from Australia. I didn't ready anything, but other people had some pretty great stories.

The weather on this day started out nice, but turned cloudy, windy, and rainy, and then cleared up again.

The 15th

I just went to church as usual. I don't remember what we talked about, it's kind of blurry now.

My mom made Creamed tuna and eggs over rice. It's actually pretty good. We also had some left over garlic bread from the night before. We had a whole loaf left.
We finished off the leftover of the day before that I will mention in a bit.

My sister in law, Kyla came over with my niece, and my brother again. It's always nice to see them.

Ward prayer was actually held at the house my childhood best friend Brooke used to live in. Someone else lives there now, it was so weird being in that house for the first time in I think 7 or 8 years. It looked a lot different and it made me a little teary eyed and nostalgic.

The weather was cloudy with light sprinkles on this day at first, but cleared up after church rather quickly.

The picture below is Ducky. Some people slept with teddy bears, some people slept with dolls, but I slept with ducky. :)

Just the book I am reading (The 3 in one book that contains the whole entire Elenium series by David Eddings.)

The 14th

We went to Costco, and I bought some bread, hummus, and ice cream bars. I bought some pizza and a smoothie on my way out with my sister since she went and got something too. It was windy and cloudy
It rained a little, and I walked in it. It felt really extra nice. This was actually before Costco.

My sister made tuna casserole, and Ben (my ex brother in law) bought some snicker doodles, the garlic bread we are the day after, and some Oreo and Reese's ice cream.

We all stretched for a while while watching Robin Hood on Netflix before dinner. Ben was instructing Natalie and teaching her about stretches. I was actually doing a mixture of stretching and doing resistance cord workouts.

The 12th and 13th

Honestly nothing worth noting happened on these days. I just did my usual and played phone games. I finally figured out Robot Unicorn though. And Friday the 13th happened, that is always a good day.

My family loves popcorn. Home made popcorn is like a tradition.

The 11th

Got to know one of my sister's friends that just happens to be a writer for Phineas and Ferb.

My sister is doing something for Phineas and ferb, but I will not spoil it.

I ordered the Phineas, Ferb, and Perry plushies off of the Disney Store.

I did a post on Xanga. The stuff above happened after that post.

My bandannas below. I have them in every color except for orange, light red, and light blue.

The 10th
Nothing happened besides my usual stuff around the house,

I learned that there is going to be a New Sailor Moon anime next year in 2013. I started reading the manga, and watching the old series over again. I also told my friends about the new series. I met a lot of my friends on a Sailor Moon fan site 6 years ago and we are still friends now. We are actually pretty close. I made so many friends on that website. i'll have to tell you the story sometime.

Just some digital art i uploaded to instragram.

The 9th

This is the day I found out about the Flix For Charity thing. They played "cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" last week. I got a text earlier in the day telling me about the movie. At first I just thought that it was a ward thing, but there were so many people there and I found out later that it was a charity thing that they do every week.  I had so much fun and the sky was so clear.  I kind of wished I brought something to eat there though like popcorn or something.

We went to a really pretty park for FHE. It had these swings that could spin around if you pulled the swing a little bit. It also had some really nice pavilions, and a really pretty duck pond. We spent about an hour and a half there doing random stuff. Most of us played volley ball, and some of us (like me) just wandered around. I will put the pictures below.

Random playground shot.

The 8th

Nothing but church and the usual happened. I do remember we had a lesson on the dangers of false doctrine though.

I took this photo of my favorite bag.

The 7th

Went to 7 Peaks water park and did the usual. There are these metal bars on the sides of the wave pool you can hold onto to stay above the waves, I did some pull ups on those while the waves were going.

Went to Best Buy and bought "Tetris Party Deluxe' for DS.

Worked out with my resistance band for the 2nd day. My soreness was about at it's max by now, but not quite. My pull ups didn't help the soreness very much.

The 6th and 5th

Nothing much, just worked out mostly and learned new stretch band workouts.  I was still burned out from the events on my birthday (below).

The 4th

On my birthday I woke up, got dressed in my new khaki shorts, and my red shirt that had silver butterflies, and red and blue stars and part of the butterfly was also red and blue. I'll have to take a picture and show you sometime. I put some snacks in a plastic bag for the parade. I brought some Sun Chips, cheese sticks, and Sobe Lifewater.

We left after this and went to the parade. We managed to find a parking space after forever, it was pretty hard.  My mom wasn't sure if it was okay where it was. We sat at the beginning of the parade rout in a pretty good spot under the shade. We had chairs and stuff too that people said we could sit in. I wanted to sit with my relatives however so after a while my mom made sure our parking spot was safe. I was really insistent on sitting with my relatives, I did not want to sit alone. We walked 8 blocks along the parade route to my relatives and we watched the parade as we went along. I have to admit I regret leaving that spot, it was pretty good.
We watched the rest of the parade with my relatives, and I snacked on my food. We only had to walk 5 blocks back to the car because we could use the short way now that we weren't going along the parade route.

We went to Jamba Juice after this and we all got smoothies. I got a Mega Mango smoothie.

We went home for a while and I just hung around watching Hercules I think.

We went to a picnic after a couple of hours and my Aunt's house. A lot of the people that were at the parade were there.  We had hamburgers and hotdogs, chips, fruit, salad, and some other stuff. I played Flow on my phone and "Where's my Perry?" a lot while I was there.  We had a chocolate cake and sang happy birthday to me while I was there. My aunt bought me the chocolate cake. I actually think I remember there was 2 of them. We also had my cheesecake that I bought the day before.

We went home after spending a few hours there. I logged into Destiny Online which I don't do very often anymore, and hung out with my friends for a little bit.
I was feeling a bit down on this day because sometimes I feel like my birthday really isn't my day, but everyone else's day. We watched "Once Upon a Time on Hulu Plus on our TV for a while and debated weather or not we would go to the fireworks. I was in a kind of bad mood and almost didn't go to the fireworks. We ended up going even though some of us were tired and burned out. We went to some fireworks around Thanksgiving point. I will put the video up below.

Here is a photo, I will also have video a bit later. (edit).

We went up near the mountains around a place where we could see the fire that started the day before after this.  We then went home and did our own thing after this. All in all it was a great day.

The 3rd

I did nothing much this day, just went to Costco and bought some stuff for the parade, bought my cheesecake, and went to Harmons and bought my cheesecake topping (cherry).
