I was checking my wordpress to see if I forgot to post anything from there on here. Sometimes I don't feel like posting on here. I found this post from almost a year ago that talked about these two interviews I had last year in November.
One of them was at Dairy Queen, and the other was for Bath & Body Works.
The post said how confident I was about how I did for my interviews. I just HAD to write about this. I have a completely different view now. I did so many things wrong.
I had my Bath & Body Works interview after my Dairy Queen interview. I was so excited about my Bath & Body Works interview that I let myself get distracted. I think I might have even talked about it in my Dairy Queen interview which was stupid. Besides that blunder I came in looking like a mess to my Dairy Queen interview. Needless to say I didn't get the job at Dairy Queen. I couldn't have been more obvious that I wasn't really into working at Dairy Queen. To be honest, I was relieved. I don't really ever want to work with ice cream ever again if I can help it. That job wasn't a great fit for me.
I had my interview at Bath & Body Works a couple days after I think. I'm not entirely sure how far apart they were, or if they were on the same day. That part is a little fuzzy to me. I made sure I looked nicer than I did for my Dairy Queen interview and was pretty confident. I think that the reason I didn't get the job was because I didn't have enough sales experience. I don't know if I'll try again this year because I can't say I have any more sales experience than I had last year.
So, looking back on that was funny to me. I just had to write about it. It's amazing how much I have realized since last year. I still have a long way to go though of course. I got kind of a late start in the world of employment. I have no idea what I'm going to end up doing or even what I want to do right now. I'm sure I'll figure it out though.

Chopping Off the Locks
Today I went to vocational rehab again and was actually stuck there
for nearly two hours while Judy typed up all the info to send to the
government so I can get help for school. Book money and stuff like that.
She had to know my financial status, and a whole lot of personal info. I
brought her my grades like she asked from spring semester and also
brought a new book list, tuition cost paper, and class schedule. To be
honest I still have my doubts about taking French this semester, but
I’ll try my best. She said I could drop that class if it becomes too
hard for me. One thing I’m anxious about is that I have to do the pell
grant SAP (satisfactory academic progress) appeal so I can get the pell
grant to pay for school. I have to at least try and fix my inelegebility
for that or vocational rehab can’t pay for college. They want the pell
grant to pay as much as it can and the. They do the rest. I’m a bit
nervous because I looked at all the stuff I need for the appeal and I
don’t understand all of it. I failed my first two semesters and then had
to withdraw from one in fall 2013 so that messed up my pell grant
elegebility and vocational rehab has been paying every semester, but
this time I guess they need me to try to get the pell grant. I think
things are getting more strict there or something.
Anyway, after all that stuff with Judy and waiting for everything to be typed up I finally got to leave. I have to go to school tomorrow and ask about the requirements for the pell grant appeal. I get that I’m supposed to tell them what happened with those three semesters I had trouble in and what has changed, but the rest I’m fuzzy on. I hate paperwork…
Mom and I actually got to go to one of the local outdoor shopping centers to look for Pokemon. There is this shop that sells toys, games and candy that I think is the cutest thing ever. Mom loved it and thought it was charming as well. I found out about it when I was out with friends last year. I’ll have to get pictures sometime.
After I was done at vocational rehab I ate a B-UP bar (cookie dough flavored) for a late lunch and since my hair appointment was at 6:30 and it was 3 hours away I had mom drop me off at the mall. I wanted to show off my new shirt anyway.
I just walked around for a while and eventually got my haircut! One thing I really like doing when I’m at the mall is checking out all the rings at S.L. Sorry I have to omit names, I do it for privacy. It’s basically a little jewelry kiosk. I got my ears pierced there a year ago. I’ll have to get pictures of their stuff sometime. I also made a stop by work and got a frozen lemonade. I got the raspberry one. I was planning on staying away from sugar again, but I really wanted a lemonade. Anyway, I am glad my hairstylist Brenna is back from maternity leave. She is the only one I trust with my hair. She did a great job tonight Here is is below. It took about an hour for Brenna to do it.
I am happy with it and it’s so easy to manage! Oh, but one thing I forgot to mention when I was talking about walking around the mall is that my favorite grilled cheese place Melty Way closed down! I’m so heart broken. Stuff like this happens on a regular basis at the mall. It really is a tragic thing to say the least.
Anyway, dad picked me up and I went home and got to show off my new cut.

Diamond Rose
I was hit with inspiration yesterday and felt like creating a poem about Cara (Darik's wife). She really is someone you would expect to read about in some pretty song or poem. She is beautiful inside and out. I showed this poem to her and both she and Darik loved it.

Anyway, so today I just made a brief trip to the mall and took the bus to Macey's grocery store to pick up an application and get a chocolate vanilla ice cream cone. Later Laura made chicken and cheese enchiladas. She also made lemon bars, but they aren't done quite yet. I'm planning on filling out the applications I got today and also finishing the ones online. I'll turn the ones that have physical copies in on Monday.
