I Just Want Everything In the Store

Nothing much happened today. I just stayed home for most of it except for a brief trip to the store. I couldn’t decide what to get for a while. Laura, Bunny and I went together. Laura got lemon cookies, some cereal, and some ice cream. I thought about getting a chocolate cherry cashew KIND bar, but later settled on ambrosia. I have been craving ambrosia for a few days and I decided  to just go for it. I just got a small personal container. I was happy to see that i over estimated the cost. The charge by weight. I think it’s $4 a pound or something like that. It only cost me $1.80 and this made me really happy.

I really need to get more snacks. I should also do a picture post of things I love the most at the store. In case some of my visually impaired friends have found this blog I will include descriptions of everything as well. Sometimes I just feel like I want to buy everything in the store. Of course, even if I was rich I wouldn’t really do that. Well, if I did perhaps not any of the unhealthy stuff. I am trying to lose weight so I don’t want to sabotage my progress. I am going to do another weight loss update around September first.

Tonight’s dinner was my least favorite thing in the world. I hate beef and rice. mom made a great effort to make ti taste good, but no amount of seasoning can save the churches beef chunks. My church helps people with food if they need it but some of the stuff they have to give isn’t all that great. It was edible, but I think I’ll stay away from it for good this time. Rice with other things is great, but I just hate the beef mainly. One thing I ate a lot of today was spaghetti squash. I love that stuff so much. Anyway, I’ll get some pictures of the food we get. right now we are getting help from church because we have been a bit financially. I love being LDS, even if people do have a lot of misconceptions about us.

I am proud of the women’s gymnastics team, they are great so far at these Olympics.  I will give my thoughts on them when they are done with everything though. For tonight I’ll just leave it at this.

A Bit of Thrift Store Luck

Natalie had a violin lesson today and I took the opportunity to go with her and Laura to the music store. I ditched them soon after of course and they knew I was going to do this. I decided to go walking down the street to the mall. I actually wasn’t there for long because I wanted to go back and walk down the street to do other things. I made a brief stop to Good earth and got some B-UP protein bars. I got one cinnamon roll one and one caramel vanilla one. I meant to get a sugar cookie one but this guy came out of nowhere and just decided he wanted all of them. It was really weird, but I am happy with the ones I got. Mom used to work at Good Earth, but she quit after about 13 years. She had the put up with a horrible manager during her last few years but she was recently fired. Mom is actually thinking of going back because we need the money and she thinks it’ll be better again. I don’t know how I fell about that and don’t really trust or like most of the employees anymore.

I headed north down the street I was on and decided to make a stop at Walgreens to just look around. I’m thinking of buying a new razor because the one I use right now really sucks. I also might buy hair dye there the next time I do my hair. I usually get it at Sally's Beauty Supply which I also visited today, but I’m not sure yet. I’m not even sure what color I want to do yet to be honest.

In the end I ended up at a local thrift store down the street. I have gotten quite good at finding stuff I like on the racks. There are so many random things to look through it takes a lot of patience. I love looking through everything because there are some pretty funny things on the racks sometimes. Some are just too flamboyant for me to believe anyone would wear them. I always get a good laugh from it all. Today I struck a bit of good luck where finding stuff I like is concerned. Of course, some of it didn’t fit as that usually happens every time I go there. I managed to find two shirts I like, but am not going to do photos today. You will see them eventually, I guarantee that. One is black and white and one is yellow with a colorful design. I am happy with what I found and can’t wait to go there again in a few weeks. I wanted some real food after being there for probably an hour and a half looking at everything so I went to Cafe Rio and got a half beef and half chicken salad. i LOVE Cafe Rio. tortilla, rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, meat, chips, dressing, etc. the whole thing tastes super good. I called mom and she came and got me from there because I really did not want to ride the bus again.

The rest of the day really isn’t important. I’ll just leave it at this. If I pressure myself to write too many details I burn myself out and lose my motivation to write.🙂

Braced

Last Saturday was pretty boring, I just did a little bit of homework, it was pretty uneventful. I did go to the store a few times, we bought shaving cream, de-oderant, and some new Spry mouth wash. We also went to Costco and I bought some new camisoles, and bread. I went to the store a third time, but I don't remember what else I got, that part was a little blurry. I spent most of the day watching stuff on Netflix, just hanging out at home and doing stuff with the family. Nothing of much note to write about Saturday.

Sunday I had to wake up around the same time I do on the other days of the week (9am). We had another Stake Conference, it's a special 2 hour meeting we have twice a year in my church, kind of like General Conference, only in a much smaller area. I have no idea why they did another one since we just had one a month ago. I woke up late because I went to bed late, but called someone for a ride, threw on my clothes, and left soon after I woke up. It was just in time, if I had called my ride even a few seconds later it would have been too late. I really did not want to get up at that point in time, I was so tired. When I got to the meeting I ended up sleeping through the whole 2 hours of the meeting. I don't remember anything they talked about, but I'm probably going to ask people what they talked about. It was around noon when the meeting ended and we left. There was crazy traffic getting out of the church parking lot, it took us probably 15 minutes to get out of there.

I was glad when we got home, I took a nap, and hung out with my family for the rest of the day. I spent a lot of the time watching anime, and preparing my English paper. I was so stressed out about the English paper I didn't get much done on Sunday. I really try not to do homework on Sunday, and even though I tried to do some it didn't work out too well. I gave up after a while and just decided to relax.

Monday was pretty good, we talked about how to cite references, I left early to get to Astronomy earlier. In astronomy we talked about stuff like star clusters, more about nebulae, and other star related stuff. In Pilates we did a bunch of stuff with those big round balls they use in Pilates. I have been waiting weeks to get to that part, I love the big balls, they are a lot of fun to use.  We did stuff like balancing, using them to work out, and some other stuff. If I can find a proper video to demonstrate I will post it later.

After class was done, I went and got my stuff out of my locker, called my dad for a ride and went to SubWay and got a sandwich, a cookies, and a Dr. Pepper. I then walked to the library where he was picking me up. I got there just in time, because he pulled up 3 minutes after I got there. The line for SubWay had been long, and I was a little worried I would miss him, but I didn't.  I had also gotten some coconut ice cream before my Pilates class. I always like to have a little bit of fun on the first Monday of every month. I usually do not eat out this much, I prefer home cooked food. We went to the bank when we left the school after we picked up my mom from work.

After we got done with the bank, I reminded my mom and dad that we needed to go to the medical supply store to get me my brace finally. I have had wrist troubles for years, mostly caused by my Ganglion Cyst that I get from repetitive movement of my wrist. it causes movement to be painful. They go away if you stop the movement enough. I could get a surgery to get it removed, but there is no guarantee that it will not come back, the wrist brace was a better alternative by far. I love wearing it and my wrist is already improving, I can tell that much already. As long as I wear it enough my problems should go away for good. I will probably be using a brace for good from now on. I don't have to wear it all the time though.

Anyway, after I got home I finished my English paper, and did some other things not really worth noting.  I was really super happy when I finished my first draft of my English paper, it's so much easier to do the others when you have the first one done.

I learned just how bad the wasp problem in our house is yesterday, they are getting pretty big in number now, we have had this problem for a while and don't know how to get rid of them I hope we won't have to go to an exterminator for help, because my family hates poison. We killed around 30 or more in the house between yesterday and today alone. There are a lot more outside though. I have had to be careful and keep my door shut at all times so they don't come into my room. I even go as far as to turn off my light whenever I go out, so I don't attract them with the light, they like light.

So today I got woken up by my sister, she asked me if I wanted to go vote with her, we were going to vote, and then leave early for school because she had a doctor's appointment. I had to put on the finishing touches on my English paper and eat and stuff first though, so I declined going with her then. I got dressed, at breakfast, did the final little touches on my first draft, and then printed it. I then watched anime for a while and then just hung out while I was waiting for her. The voting lines took longer than she though, so we ended up leaving late, instead of early.

I was late for my institute class, but managed to participate a lot more than I usually do though. We talked about why some of the people in the book of Mormon acted like they acted and did what they did. It was an over all very entertaining class today. I did leave a bit early so I could get to my English class early though.  In English (we work in the computer lab on Tuesdays) we worked on our papers. I had someone do a peer review of my paper, and then I did my 2nd draft, it didn't take very long. that was pretty much all we did the whole class time. I did peek at my astronomy test score though, I got a 78 / 100! I was and am still very very happy about that.  I ended up leaving English early today as well because i finished my 2nd draft early.

They were giving out free cotton candy when I got out of my English class, it was green apple flavored. I just walked around the school, got a yogurt parfait, and walked through the school store for a bit before yoga. After a while I went to my locker, got out my workout clothes, put my stuff in my locker and went and got dressed. When I got to the yoga studio there was no one there, I guess the previous class was cancelled (someone teaches Zumba before), so I just put down my mat and slept until class started. Today we worked on forearm stand, hand stands, and some other standing poses that you get into from downward facing dog pose.  It was a really fun class, challenging, and got my heart rate up a decent amount.

After class ended I just went back to my locker after putting my pants on over my yoga pants, called my sister, and she picked me up. In the time I was waiting for her I made an appointment with the school's writing center so they could help me with my 3rd draft for my paper. We went to go get my mom from work after we left the school. When we got home my mom got my dad and we went over to our local school to vote. The line was non existent, everyone had voted earlier. I voted for Mitt Romney, and some other people, and when I was done, I gave someone my voting card, grabbed some candy they had, and went home. I have just been hanging around watching the election and stuff. I am bummed out that Romney lost, I hope our country will be okay. Hopefully Obama will give me a good reason to like him this time around. I have my fingers crossed.

Anyway so those were my past few days. I have other stuff to say, but I'll stop here for now. :)

If I forgot anything I will just add it tomorrow.

Rainbow Rocks

So the picture above is something I did when I was bored. I was watching stuff on Netflix and hanging out with my nieces to also help cure my boredom. The picture is called "Rainbow Rocks'. It reminds of me a side of a cliff that is rainbow colored. It also has that cool pop out effect that I really like. I assume since I put the 3D effect on it with one of my art apps on my phone that it also works with 3D glasses.

I woke up today and actually had ice cream for breakfast. I tried something a little different, and put some Coco Krispies in it. It was pretty good, plus it had that crunchy effect that I like in some ice cream.

I started watching the old Twilight Zone series seriously today. i watched 2 episodes over the past two days and I think I have really started to get into it. I have always loved old series like Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, I Love Lucy and others. They just have this certain charm, and originality that a lot of other series these days don't have.

My dad made mini pizza. Well it was like mini pizza except for it was on bread, and it had spaghetti sauce, cheese, and pineapple. He has made these a few times. Minus the little tomato slices he puts on them (I hate warm or hot tomatoes except for in the form of a sauce), and the mushrooms in the sauce (yuck). I was feeling very hungry, so i ended up eating 2 of them.

I didn't have any ward FHE (family home evening) tonight because they were doing a blood drive and i can't give blood. I just stayed home playing tetris, hanging out with family, and we had our own FHE. We had a lesson about this LDS magazine called the Ensign, and another one called "The Friend'. Our amily home evenings aren't as fun as the ones we have in the ward, but it's nice to have family get together none the less.

I was going to go to the store, but my dad and sister left without me, so i just had to stay home. My mom and my nieces were cleaning the kitchen upstairs during their absence. I was actually downstairs cleaning up my room just a little bit.

other than this I have just been doing stuff on Instagram (Empathic_Heart), and playing games on my phone today. I have stopped wearing camisoles underneath my shirts because it's been to dang hot. I usually always wear them because it feels comfortable, but not this time of year.

Goodnight peeps. happy

Just Another Hot Summer Day

Starcloud: A pony I made.

Today I woke up a half an hour after my alarm went off. I have an alarm cloth radio, and sometimes on occasion I sleep right through the first one. It doesn't happen very often. I just kind of lied there for 15 minutes just thinking about various things. I think I had another dream with Darik in it last night. I usually don't remember them a lot of the time though, I guess dreams are like that sometimes though. I kind of guessed this because he WAS the first thing I thought of when I woke up.

I read a few new entries from my subscription feed on my xanga app on my phone. I surfed Xanga for a while and then got out of bed, got dressed, got on my computer and got on Xanga yet again. While I was surfing the site I came upon this entry that spoke of a little girl that believed in the tooth fairy. I thought it was really cute. It sparked a memory in me from long ago as well.

I remember this time when I was still in my single digits. It was on the night of Christmas eve, I had just opened a pair of Barbie themed footie pajamas a few hours ago. It has always been a tradition in my family to open pajamas the night before Christmas. There also was this tradition where all my siblings would have a sleepover on Christmas eve. We had it in my sister Linda's room that year. I remember it was sometime in the middle of the night, I had woken up for some reason. I still believed in Santa back then. I remember just lying there and listening very closely for Santa's sleigh bells. I had this thought after a few minutes that I probably wasn't supposed to know when Santa came so i gave that up and went back to sleep. I was kind of afraid that if I kept listening that Santa wouldn't come because he was waiting for me to stop listening.

Anyway, that was the memory that I was thinking of at the time. After I was done on Xanga I listened to music for a little bit and then went upstairs. I had Coco Krispies for breakfast and then put on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. I remember hoping that something interesting would happen today. Nothing that interesting happened for a few hours, just my usual stuff.

After a while I decided I would go and search for the poems I haven't shared on my blog yet, but that I have been meaning to. I went to my facebook profile, and searched my timeline and notes. By the time I was done I gathered 11 poems, including one i completely forgot about from back in 2009, and one story poem that I wrote a long time ago.  I got those together, in a Google doc to prepare for reading them out loud for the audio portion of the upcoming blog i will be doing containing  all 11 poems. I can only do the audio on Xanga though, so for those of you who read this on blogger instead of xanga I will link yo to that when the time comes since I can't upload audio to blogger.

I watched Hercules again a little bit after this. i went with my dad to pick up my mom from work. After we picked her up from work we headed over to Costco. We picked up a few things like fruits and vegetables, milk, some meat, and other stuff. I ended up not buying anything. I was tempted to get this popcorn stuff that has cheddar and Carmel popcorn in it. We ended up going back to Good Earth where my mom works and we got some coconut butter, and i got some Kefir, it's like a yogurt smoothie. I got the cherry flavor this time, when I got one a few weeks ago I got mango. It's really super good and healthy.

We went back home after this. We had tacos a bit later. We used our really big tortillas we bought at the store. I ate two actually I was so hungry. After I ate, I went downstairs and re-did my Xanga theme. I wanted something a little more colorful with stars.I also changed my profile picture.

I think I'll just post this now since I don't think anything else is going to happen.  If something does happen I'll edit.

Oh, and if you want you can vote on my Idea here --> link

I Wish it Would Never End

So it's been a few days since I started reading a manga called "Glass Mask". From the very first day I started reading it I fell in love with the story line. Glass Mask is about a girl that loves acting, the whole manga is absolutely brilliant in every way, very creative, inspiring and the plays it portrays leave you on the edge of your seat. Today I reached the latest chapter, that is I am caught up in the manga to the most current chapter.

There are 2 things I hate when I am reading a manga. First when one ends, especially when I really liked reading it. The other thing I hate though is waiting for the next chapter to come out. Most of you know the experience of wanting to know what happens next in a book, or TV, it's the same thing here. Lucky for me and other people that read manga that there are a lot of different manga so when I am waiting for the next chapter to come out I can just go read another one.

My sister made chocolate chip cookies today, it's been a while since she did that. She is allergic to gluten, so for a while we didn't do that. I don't know anything about making gluten free cookies, but the ones she made tonight were good. I think I must have eaten like 4 or 5 of them (haha). While in the process of eating the cookies tonight we also dwindled our milk supply down the 0% sadly. I guess I won't be eating chocolate cereal tomorrow for breakfast after all. I guess I'll have to improvise.

Today's sunset brought an impressive display of pink and orange clouds. It was very pretty and yes I did get a picture of course.

Speaking of clouds it did rain a little bit today as well. Some time in the midst of the rain or after it rained Darik snapped a picture of a rainbow on his phone and uploaded it to Instagram. It's a really pretty picture. Here is a link to the picture.

Rainbow Picture

Anyway, the rain made the air smell heavenly, i was outside for about 20 minutes I think taking pictures and smelling the fresh air it was amazing. Sadly I did not see the rainbow that happened for myself, though I wish I had seen it. I think I was inside trying to finish the last few episodes of the "Glass Mask" anime. "Glass Mask" is also an anime by the way.  I did end up finishing it by the way, and it was a really great anime, even though they never did finish it completely.

I know I've been a little absent on Xanga lately. I have trouble with procrastinating a little bit. I seem to be doing that a lot lately, i should really stop. I suppose me starting to blog on blogger as well will open an opportunity to catch up and fill in the blanks on both of my blogs. It wasn't to too long ago actually a few hours ago I started setting up my blog on blogger. I'm really looking forward to having my blog in 2 places at once again. Some of you know I used to blog on Tumblr, but quit because they have no adult content filter and I was tired of running into stuff I did not want to see.

I was thinking of going to Harmon's for fun a few hours ago to get some stuff to eat, I changed my mind though.I was going to get some chicken and potatoes and macaroni and cheese, but I decided to just stick with what I had at home. I think that was healthier than going to Harmon's anyway. I don't think I have been eating healthy today anyway so that was smart.

Anyway, I'm going to go play Tetris for a while before I go to bed. I usually always do that, it helps me sleep better.

I guess that is all for now. Nothing else has really happened today. If I forgot anything I will just mention it in a future post.

Oh, and if you see posts appear that are of an earlier date that means I have begun moving my blog posts from Xanga to here. Pretty soon it will look like I have been blogging on here for the last 3 years. You won't even be able to notice I just made this blog today. :)

Saturday Fun

I don't get out often, so when it happens it is really nice. It's been about 5 years I think since I actually hung out with someone. I am not that close with anyone at this point in time so I usually just end up spending my time alone. I am not really that sad about this, but sometimes it gets boring. I have a pretty bad fear of stray dogs, and slight agoraphobia as well so most of the time I will not go out on a walk unless if I really feel confined and absolutely need to get out. Before today I had never walked to the local store, I decided to do that because I really needed to get out very badly. Even though I was nervous I decided I would brave it at least once and walk the block to the store. You probably don't think walking 1 or 2 blocks is a big deal, but for me it makes me pretty nervous. I am working on this problem, but it will probably take time. I had thought about walking to the store on numerous occasions but chickened out, this time however I did not.

I got my shoes on and grabbed my purse, I thought about bringing my cane but decided I did not need to. I made sure I got everything, went upstairs and went out the door. My anxiety wasn't as bad as it is sometimes, I wasn't as nervous this time. I made sure I was aware of my surroundings, all of them. I guess that happens when you are a little nervous and have no clue if something is going to happen. I made it to the store unscathed, but the whole way there I was sending my thoughts up to God, praying nothing would happen to me. It looks like he delivered in the end. I got a little more nervous half way there, but I was able to make it.

I made no plans today, I had no idea what I was going to do when I got to the store, all I new is that I wanted to go and I went.

I looked at all the store's that were next to Harmon's. Harmon's is the main store but there are little places next to it. There is a restaurant, a frozen yogurt place, a hair salon, a place to do nails, and 2 others I don't remember. I knew I was going to go to the frozen Yogurt place sometime while I was there, but I decided to wait. The frozen yogurt place there is called "the Golden Spoon". they just opened last year, their frozen yogurt is awesome.

I decided to go into Harmon's and look around in there first. I knew that there would probably be a few things I would want to buy before going to "the Golden Spoon" for frozen yogurt.

I ended up walking around the store for nearly an hour and a half, it was a lot of fun. It is a lot better going to the store alone I tell you. I have never just walked around the store on my own. It is a lot different when no one is there to give you a time limit. You notice so many more things when you have a lot of free time and nothing holding you back. I pretty much looked at everything pretty much. I looked at some things more than others, but I did get around to visiting every place in the store. I spent a good amount of time in the makeup isle to be quite honest. I probably spent most of my time in the makeup isle and the hair isle, I picked up my first items in these isles. I picked up some Garnier Fructis Color Shield shampoo, cover stick, nail polish, eye shadow (white, purple and pink), a pretty hair clip, nail polish remover, mascara, eye liner, and 2 different shades of lipstick.

When I was done in those isles after looking at the various hair dyes, hair products and everything else I went looking in the cereal isle. I picked up some cinnamon flavored Check and chocolate Chex as well, but I ended up putting them back before I did the check out. I figured I should probably wait to get them another day later in the month. I went to the bakery and sampled some of the organic fresh bread they have there. I ended up getting a loaf of White Chocolate Pecan" bread, it tasted amazing. I also tried this other one called Fall Harvest, they had just started making it. I'm not exactly sure what was in it but it was sweet and tasted very good. I think next time I am at Harmon's in a few weeks I will get that one.

I looked at the cakes and cookies and other stuff around the bakery, I was going to get a thing of White Chocolate Macadamia nut cookies but they didn't have any there today. I was kind of disappointed about this, those are my favorite cookies.

I looked through the magazine isle and tried looking for Psychology Today, I couldn't find it though. I am going to look again next time I go to the store because I love that magazine. I also looked through the organic food section, but didn't really see anything I was interested in.

I went to the place in the store where they had candy looking for gumdrops, but I couldn't find any. I am still craving those gumdrops...

Anyway, after looking through the beverage isle, and a few more isles I decided it was time to go buy my stuff.

The check out didn't take much time and while I was going through it I grabbed some Tropical flavored Orbit gum. I then promptly left the store after this and headed for "the Golden Spoon".

I was going to get some mint flavored frozen yogurt but they didn't have any today so I got the mango flavored one in a regular size. I left the Golden Spoon after this and started to walk home.

Over all it was a really great experience, I wasn't as nervous walking back home. I felt more free today than I have in a long time. I am glad I decided to take that first step to independence today. When I got home I felt confident, motivated, and just plain great. I've been in a really great mood for the whole day. The Mango frozen yogurt was really great, it tasted amazing and it make my room smell like mango's for hours. The cool thing is that my gum smells and tastes just like it. I think part of the reason why my room smelled so strongly of mango was because of the gum.

Anyway, it was starting to look like it was going to rain by the time I got home, it really did rain later in the day. I have been in a mood for rain the past few weeks so this just made the day even better.

Nothing really amazing has happened for the rest of the day. I spent a good couple of hours playing Tetris after I got home. I watched some anime, and read some manga as well. I'm still working on the "Glass Mask" manga that I started 2 days ago. I don't think there is anything else worth mentioning about today, it has been a great day and I am worn out.

Really hoping I see Darik and Dylan tomorrow at church. I'm looking forward to church in general, It's a good place to get away from the world.

Best quote from today. This is something I put on my facebook wall today.

"Beware the tiny spark, for that is how a blazing inferno starts. Big things are created from lots of little things. If you ignore this reality, you will find yourself overtaken by the very thing you looked down on."

Strawberry Cake

So today was my niece's birthday. We just ate dinner, it was chicken, salad, and potatoes. My sister made a Strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. I just let myself go off my diet for this one meal today, it usually doesn't effect me unless if I do it too much.  We put sparkler candles on her cake, it was funny watching her blow them out. My niece turned 10 today, it's really weird because I still remember the first day she came home from the hospital. She had Jaundice and we had to put her under this special light to help it go away. I was 12 years old, and I was totally new to the situation of having a niece or nephew. I thought it was really cool, I remember I always wanted to hold her whenever I could.

We went out to lunch today at this resteraunt named "Los Hermanos". it's a Mexican Resteraunt, a really great one. I was still following my diet at this part of the day so I had to be careful what I ate though. I got a fajita and just ate the chicken, onions, tomatoes, and beef that was in it. It tasted amazing, I kind of wish I had been able to eat normally though. If I had known earlier in the day before we left that we were going there I would have not took my HCG drops at all today so I could eat normally. I didn't take them before dinner which is why I could eat normally. If you take them and eat normally and it's something that is not something you can eat it makes you gain weight.

My niece ate this really big enchilada meal, we didn't think she would eat the whole thing but she did. Both me and my sister were surprised. We also got her a specialty drink, some kind of raspberry smoothie like drink with whipped cream on it. At some point some of the waiters came and sang happy birthday to her. Usually when it's your birthday you get fried ice cream. I LOVE fried ice cream, it hurt a little to see her eat it without me ha ha.

After we ate we headed over to Kohl's to go shopping. When we got there my niece and my sister went to go look for a watch, I just went off on my own to look around. I went all over the store and looked at purses, clothes, jewelry, and a few other things like bedding. I was thinking of buying this rainbow bedding set I really liked, but I changed my mind because it was kind of expensive.  I ended up getting this stretch ring that is silver, and has all these colorful stones on it, it's really pretty. I did't buy anything but this. I am kind of low on money right now so I have to be careful how much I spend. Sometimes I get carried away and spend too much at the beginning of the month.  I think I was looking around the store for about an hour. I saw my sister a few times, but I didn't go over to her until she bought my nieces stuff. She got a cute stuffed kitty, some jeans, and a watch. We probably would have done more shopping, but my brother had to go to the doctor for an appointment so this was the only store we went to today. My sister was relieved that my niece is still into kids toys haha.

We just went home after that, nothing much happened until dinner.

Anyway, I guess this is all. I am pretty tired so I won't say more than this right now. I have other stuff on my mind but it can wait.

The Answer

So I finally got Sam's answer finally (read the last two posts before this one). He told me he thought of me as a friend, but not really a close friend. I wont lie, I was kind of hoping for more detail but I know his personality better than that. I knew he would probably choose to be short and precise like that. He also told me he has trouble with affection. I can kind of understand him better now just by knowing that. I am the exact opposite in that area, showing and feeling emotion and affection is like second nature to me. A good thing that came out of it is that ever since I learned this detail about him 12 hours ago I have suddenly gained a new appreciation for my emotion, and my emotional control. I sometimes forget that some people have a harder time with emotion and affection more than I do. Some people just have trouble showing it outwardly, and some inward and outward. I however, usually have an easy time with both of those, probably because I am so well practiced in the art of emotion, and controlling it. I am a very emotional person and I feel a lot after all. I'm going to make sure I put my ability to feel and empathize with people to better use in the future, I've kind of been wasting it. I just realized that today. I have a habit of sometimes taking some things for granted. I was a little disappointed that he doesn't see me as a close friend, but I'm fine with just being friends. I've always been really careful about not pressuring him when it comes to my feelings. I am happy to say I am at peace now.

I slept a lot better last night than I did the night before. It was really nice to get some sleep after how I had been feeling for a couple of days. I did sleep a little during the day again though as well.

Today I spent quite a lot of time on the Psychology Today website, I think my motivation to learn more about psychology has been boosted by the events of today. I suddenly have an even bigger desire to learn how minds work than I did before. I am planning on getting a degree in Psychology when I go back to school after Christmas. I am planning on going into Cognitive Psychology. I have always found the area very alluring.

I went shopping again today with my dad and my sister. We have 2 TVs in our house, but only one of them has a converter box, we have been sharing the converter box between the two TVs. I was going to look for another converter box, but then we realized we probably need an antenna more than another converter box. Our current antenna does not work very well downstairs. We decided to go to Best Buy and look for another antenna. My sister also wanted to go to Kohl's to look at possible presents for my niece as well.

We dropped my sister off at Kohl's and headed over to best buy. When we got there we went straight to the isle that had the antennas. This helper guy that worked at the store showed us which ones were probably the best to use. There was a digital antenna for $70 and then another one with less features that was $30. I decided to wait until the end of the month to get one however because of the price. I am a little limited on cash right now so I had to be careful about how much I spend on what. After this I looked around the store for a little bit for fun. I have been wanting to get a new camcorder for a while, so I went and looked at them. They are really expensive, sometimes I forget how expensive things are.  We ended up not buying anything at Best Buy, but I think I will be back.

We headed over to Kohl's where my sister was. She had decided to wait until after the weekend to get my niece birthday presents because she wanted her to pick out what she wanted instead. She was looking around for stuff for herself though. We were in there for a while. I didn't buy anything there either, but I did find a new bed set that I want to buy next month. My dad went out to the car after a while and me and my sister just went about our business looking at clothes and stuff. I actually wandered around the store for a while and looked at everything they had. I found some pretty cute purses, jewelry, clothes, and some other stuff it was a lot of fun. I will be back there for sure because I want to buy that bed set that I liked. My sister bought some clothes and a purse while we were there.

We went to Harmon's grocery store after this to buy some BBQ sauce. My sister bought some other stuff, I didn't get a good look at what she bought though. I actually ended up looking through the store for a while and ended up buying a new garbage can, one of those little plastic drawer sets that you can put jewelry and stuff in, another plastic container with only 1 drawer that was a little bigger, and a normal plastic container that had a lid, and no drawers.  I also bought some paper and a notebook while I was there. We went home after I bought my stuff.

When I got home we unloaded all the groceries and I cleaned up my room a bit, and switched my old garbage can to my new one. I cleaned up all the paper and stuff off of my floor and put my reciepts in my reciept container with all the others. I put my bracelets, hair stuf, and nail polish in the little set of drawers I bought at the store. I had been keeping them in little plastic Ziploc bags before. I put my art supplies in the bigger container that had one drawer. They had been just lying around all over the place wherever they would fit.

Anyway, so I have just been walking around the house and listening to music on the computer ever since. I don't think anything else is going to happen tonight. I am glad something happened today, I was a little worried about not having anything good to write about.

Oh, and I think another thunderstorm is coming our way, yay!.

The Anxiety

So yesterday night about an hour and a half after I finished writing my last post I discovered that Sam had texted me. He told me that he would answer my question if I answered his. He asked me how well I really knew him. This question really puzzled me at first, and I didn't know how to answer it for a while. Actually, I came up with multiple possible answers, I didn't know which one to give. It was past midnight at this time, and so I didn't want to text him back just in case he was asleep or something. This made things really hard because I knew I would not get the answer until I answered his question first. I really wanted that answer really badly and this made me really anxious. I was strung up all night and my heart was pounding, I couldn't sleep until probably 5:30am. All I could think of all night was how I was going to answer the question and when I was going to answer it.  Nothing seemed to be able to calm me down, I felt irritated, kind of scared, anxious, hyper, and really curious at the same time.  On top of this I felt a little guilty and frusterated for not noticing his text earlier.

I finally got 3 hours of sleep after a long, hard night. I sent my reply as soon as I woke up. I have been waiting for his reply all day. I really hope I get it soon because not knowing the answer to my question is causing me a lot of edginess and anxiety. Normally I can be a little more patient, but something like this (( read my post from yesterday)) is something I have to know for a lot of reasons. I hate not knowing how people really feel about me it's unsettling. I am not feeling as nervous or anxious now, but I still want the answer really badly. I hope I can sleep better tonight. Sometimes I wonder if I was being a little selfish by asking him such a bold question. I don't know when he will answer, but I hope it's not too long. I hope I didn't make him feel rushed... I kind of come off like that sometimes.

I went on a walk 3 times around our local track in the morning right after I sent him the text, it helped a little. I usually only do it in the night, but I really felt like it right then. I had to get out of the house, I felt to on the edge.

I spent most of my day trying to keep calm by listening to music, watching anime, and doing stuff on facebook and Destiny Online. It did help a little, enough for me not to feel like I was going crazy from anxiety anymore.

I fell asleep again around 11am. I slept for another good 2 or 2 and a half hours. I woke up to my dad asking i I wanted to go to the store. I said yeah, and then fell back asleep for about another 20 minutes. I found him in the back yard and him, me and my sister went to the store not to long after that.

I just bought a few things like chicken and oranges, stuff like that. I was going to buy a movie at Costco as well but decided to wait until the end of the month for that kind of thing. When we were getting the roasted chicken I usually get we decided to wait 10 minutes until the next batch came in. While we were waiting for the new chickens to be done roasting we ran into one of my friends and her mom. This particular friend also has some disabilities. We somehow got into a discussion about getting jobs, like how we were going about looking for jobs and the obstacles that were in our way. My dad actually did most of the talking. We talked about my vision and my Vocational Rehab thing, and about how I'm trying to get a job and how I am doing it. The conversation lasted for a good 10 minutes or so. When it was over we said our goodbyes and went back to what we were doing.

We went back to where the roasted chickens were, they were just putting the new ones out. We picked one and then went along with our business. We got milk and my sister got a few things like chips and cat litter.

After I got all the stuff I was going to get, I of course went straight for the books.  I looked through them for a little bit and found this book about various sciences that had a lot of good pictures and I got it. I was going to get two but decided to wait just like I did with the movie (which actually happened after this).

We separated my stuff and my sisters stuff into two different karts and we bought separately. I got done first and had to wait a few minutes for her to go through the line.

We left after this, but we had to also go to Harmon's to pick up my sister's prescription. My dad went inside as well looking for floor shine for the kitchen floor. I just walked to the isle with all the arts and crafts stuff and looked around for a minute. I didn't find anything I needed though. My dad and my ister were pretty much done by this time anyway. We left after this and went home. I was really hungry and ate some of the chicken right when I got home.

I just went back to what I had been doing before I feel asleep and before I went to the store, nothing really exciting. I did end up sleeping even more, for another 2 or so hours. I was wiped out. One thing that really surprised me is that I actually dreamed about getting the answer from Sam. I thought that was a bit surprising, but I guess I shouldn't have. I couldn't stop thinking about it all day, even now I can't get it off my mind it's really important to me. I guess I shouldn't be surprised about having a dream where he answered me. I know it's a bit insane, but this is just how my brain works when I really, truly want something.

Nothing really exciting happened after this. I did go back to the track right before I started posting this, and walked another 3 laps around it. I had my iPhone with me this time and I listened to music while I walked and thought about stuff. I also almost went back to Harmons for fun but decided not to. I was actually going to do this instead of walk around the track. I think I needed the walk though.

I guess this is all. I don't think anything else is going to happen, it would be cool if it did though. :)

Anyway, going back to watching anime now.

The Apple Slicer

So a few months ago I found out the joys of using an apple slicer. It had been in one of our drawers in the kitchen for eons, and I never noticed. Before I used to slice the apples myself, and I am horrid with a knife. I'm not good at cutting out the seeds, I usually end up messing up the apple. I didn't eat apples very much because of this reason, I just hated cutting them, and I can't bite into an apple for various reasons I will talk about in another post. That is kind of a long story. Anyway, so using the apple slicer made things so much better for me. You just put it on top of the apple and push down and it slices it into 8 pieces and doesn't waste any of the good part. It cuts out the core as well. Fresh apples are a little harder to cut than older ones. One time I accidentally left one of my fingers under part of the slicer, it wasn't a sharp part, and I smashed my finger pretty bad. I usually use a pretty good amount of body weight when I do it because it slices easier, so when it went down on my finger it went down pretty hard. My finger nail felt pretty weird for a day or so. I'm just glad nothing broke. My favorite kind of apples would either be Golden Delicious, or Green apples. Sometimes the apple is lopsided when you sit it up and it becomes a little tricky to slice it right because it tends to want to fall over or slip.

My dad and I went shopping today, It's really nice to get out sometimes. I think I spend to much time inside sometimes. I needed to go to Costco to get a few things. My dad had to get a hair cut, we drove the place after he came home after running for a few hours. It turned out that the place where he get's his hair cut moved, so he had to backtrack a little and drive back in the direction of the salon. I was dropped off at Good Earth, it's a health food store my mom works at. We figured since it was pretty close to the salon, I needed to buy something at Good Earth, and because my mom was getting off of work soon, he could just leave me at the store until he was done. So I was dropped off at Good earth, I went inside and found the Spry Gum, and the Bert's Bees Lip Balm. I looked around for a bit, but it wasn't to long before I spotted my mom. She clocked out, I bought my stuff and we decided to just walk towards where my dad was getting his hair cut. She didn't want to stay at the store any longer than she had to. Good Earth sells health food, cosmetics, supplements, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I always find it fun to look around the store and see what they have.

So we left the store and started walking down the street to the salon. the cars were noisy, but there were so many of them it was mostly like white noise to me except for when one drove right past me. I like it when a car drives by and you get that sudden breeze that hits you, it feels nice. We walked down the street a ways, my mom was telling me about the various little businesses that were to our right as we waked. We came to an antique store and she asked me if I wanted to go into the store. I said I wasn't sure, we decided to go in though. She called my dad and told him to come to the antique store if we were still in there by the time he got done. I have been in a smaller antique store before, this one was pretty big though. the antique store had all sorts of things like old fashioned cushions, couches, lamps, four poster beds, really big shiny rings and bracelets, hand stitched scarves and stuffed animals, and a lot of other stuff as well. It was pretty interesting just walking through the store and seeing all the old fashioned stuff. I really like old fashioned stuff, it's pretty neat. We were there for about 10 or 15 minutes I think and at some point my dad did walk into the store and he found us. We left pretty soon after this. I think I would like to go back to that store sometime.

I was starving by this time. I hadn't eaten anything for a couple of hours AND I was really thirsty as well. I was supposed to eat a few hours before we left to do all this stuff, but I fell asleep again earlier around 11 or noon and slept until 3pm. We left for the store soon after I woke up, and there wasn't really very much in the fridge I could eat before I went to the store.

I was really glad when we got to Costco, we headed there right after we left the antique store.  On our way there we discovered that the air conditioning was on warm for some reason. We were wondering why it wasn't getting cold when we were in the car the few times before. We all thought it was pretty weird that someone had put it on that setting in the middle of the winter. Then again, someone could have bumped it on accident I suppose. We all got a good laugh out of it because we were starting to think that it was breaking or something. We didn't bother to check it, to see what setting it was on the other times we were in the car.

Anyway so we eventually got to Costco, not to long after we left the antique store. Costco was having one of it's really busy times, there were a ton of people there today. I bought a roasted chicken, celery, Clementines, apples, and some milk. It was nice walking through the store and looking at the various things that were there. I really liked walking into the cold parts of Costco, like the refrigerated part of the store that had the milk, it felt nice. I spotted one of those beds that is also a desk, like it has a desk on bottom and then there is a bed on top above. Kind of like a bunk bed, except for there is a desk below the bed instead of another bed.  I showed it to my mom and told her it was kind of like the one I want to have some day. That would save a lot of space if I had one of those because it usually has drawers and stuff and so you can use the space in your room for other stuff.

After looking at that I looked at the books. Every time I go to Costco I always look at the books and movies. If there is anything good I usually buy 1 or 2 things, sometimes more depending on what the movie or book is, or how much it costs. There wasn't any books I was interested in buying this time however.

I bought my stuff after this and left the store. We went home after this.  It was really nice getting out, and I also managed to get a little exercise which is also great.

When I ride in the car I usually don't listen to the music on the radio. I always make sure to bring my iPhone and my ear buds so I can listen to Pandora in the car. I like listening to normal radio sometimes, but most of the time it's nice to listen to Pandora in the car instead.

I was really glad to get home. Right after I got home I ate some chicken, a Clementine, and some celery. It was pretty filling for me. Nothing much has happened since then, I've just been watching anime and reading stuff on Xanga.  I don't really expect anything else to happen tonight. As for the stuff I did earlier in the morning, it wasn't very much, just read part of a book, went on COLOURlovers, did stuff on Pandora, and played Destiny Online a little bit. happy

I do have other stuff I want to talk about but I will save it for tomorrow. I think this is long enough.

Went to HP number 7 P2 Today

So sometime between the day before yesterday, and yesteray when we saw the movie,  I was informed that we were going to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I usually don't bother to remember such things so I can't remember when exactly I heard this but I was pretty excited.

We left to get in line sometime around 8:30pm. When we got there, there were a few guys in the lobby making sure the place didn't get really crowded. They weren't letting anyone that was going to the 10:30pm show make a line yet. There were already lines for the other shows and they didn't want the place to get over crowded. One of the guys told us to come back at 9:30pm. We decided to go to Deseret book and spend some time there while we were waiting.

My dad has this bad habit of being really outspoken, even in situations where he probably shouldn't. We were walking past these two or three smokers and he so boldly went up to them and started telling them what they were doing was wrong. I wasn't about to stand there and watch him embarrass himself in front of them. There are some situations when you should just keep out of it not only for your sake but for the sake of the people that are with you as well. needless to say every minute he was there it was a terrible embarrassment for me and my sister that was with us.  I actually told him to stop talking to them a few times and actually told him he was embarrassing us (I did this from the bookstore, peeked my head out the door and shouted it his way).  I quit paying attention to him after that.  I think my sister got him away from those people. I'm not exactly sure what happened between the time I stuck my head out the door and shouted at him and the time he actually came into the book store, and personally I don't really care anymore. I'm just glad he wasn't beaten up or something. Sometimes it's just better for you to be quiet. angryshocked

Anyway we were in there for abut 45 minutes just looking at books and talking to some people. I looked at some CTR rings that they were selling and found one I really liked, I didn't get it though. It was an LDS bookstore so they sold stuff like that.

By the time we were done in there it was almost 9:30pm. We thought we were early, but it turns out the line started 5 or 10 minutes earlier than they said it was going to be starting so there was a pretty good line already. We still managed to get a pretty good place in line. We weren't TOO far back in line, it was actually a pretty good spot. We were in line for probably 25 or 30 minutes. I just spent my time reading the Star Trek wiki while I was waiting. I did this on my iPhone of course.

They let us in at about 10pm. We were seated by 10:04pm, I remember this because I did a status about it on facebook.  I got some popcorn and an Icee from the lobby not to long after we found our seats. I had brought my own drinks, and a little bag of popcorn but I decided to buy my own anyway. I didn't bother to buy candy because I had my own. I had bought 2 energy bars from the health food store earlier. They taste pretty good, I love Cliff Energy bars. I got a macadamia nut white chocolate one and a mint chocolate one. They were both pretty good, and healthier than candy obviously.

The movie started at 10:30pm. I just played on my iPhone while I waited for it to start.

It was pretty good all around. There were a lot of places I didn't like as much as the book but that is to be expected of most people I guess. I liked the movie, but I don't think I want to see it again. I would rather read the books than watch the movies any day. I like listening to the books on audio the most. The ones that are narrated by Stephen Fry are my favorite.

We talked about the movie after it ended, we didn't compare much of the scenes to the book though because my dad hasn't even read the books yet and we didn't want to spoil it for him.

I was very tired by the time I got home. It was around 1am when we got home, some time around that.  I watched a little bit of anime before I went to bed and checked Xanga once. I went to bed after this, I fell asleep fairly quickly.

So that was my experience going to Harry Potter. Other than that I did go to the store earlier yesterday as well. We had to buy some ore Butter Buds and something else I don't remember. We made a stop at "Sunflower" first, it's a health food store. We found one thing we were looking for, but they didn't have Butter Buds so we went to the health food store my mom works at "Good Earth". I went in and bought the butter buds and the Cliff bars that I ate at the movie later.

Nothing much happened other than that yesterday, just my usual stuff, reading, talking to friends, etc. I might have forgotten 1 or two things but oh well.

By the way butter buds are like powdered butter, they taste just like butter but they are healthier. My dad can't have too much fat so he uses other stuff on his home made popcorn. :)

System Overload

Yesterday was pretty fun, we decided to to the the fireworks at the end of the "Stadium of Fire". They always have really great fireworks. The "Stadium of Fire" is an annual 4th of July celebration we have here in Utah, it is usually held in BYU stadium here in Utah. They usually have some famous singer give a concert and there is different stuff that happens like dancers, and other things I don't remember, but it's really cool. The fireworks that they have in the finale are SO amazing, they shoot off a lot of them. There are a lot of people that just come over towards the end and sit on the grass with a blanket and just watch the end of the fireworks. You don't even have to be inside the stadium to see them, just sitting outside the stadium on the grass is enough. That is what we did.

We went to the stadium and put a blanket down on the grass somewhere where we could hear the concert pretty good as well (you can hear it from 5 blocks away so didn't matter really). We had gone to Costco earlier yesterday and bought Sun Chips, chocolate, water bottles, oranges, and a few other things. We brought some of the stuff with us to the Stadium just so we could have something to snack on. We had to park 3 or 4 blocks away because there was NO parking at all. There were a lot of streets blocked off and a lot of Police, and barriers and stuff because there were a lot of people that were in the same situation as us and had to walk a couple of blocks. I did not use my cane because I did not want all the people glancing and looking at me. It is already hard for an HSP Introvert like me to be around big crowds, the glances and stares would have just made it worse. I was fine without the cane and decided to try my glasses again. It worked fine, but not a lot.

Anyway so we just sat there listening to Brad Pasley sing, he is pretty good. I liked this years selection better than last years. Last year they had Miley Cyrus singing at Stadium of Fire. I hate Miley Cyrus. I just played with my phone and ate snacks and watched my cute nephew playing around.  As you probably guessed I ended up breaking my diet again (I'm never going to try HCG in june again ha ha). It's not really possible for me to keep a diet at this time of the year I have found out **laugh**.

The fireworks came around after a while, they just started with a few at a time and just increased. I took video of some of the fireworks (I'll post it later).  Jax (my nephew) was a little scared by the loud noise, we had to cover his ears so he wouldn't freak out. He got used to it after a while and calmed down a little but still got startled and complained a little bit. He is only 10 months old so I don't think he has ever seen fireworks like this before.

When the finale came around we left right after the fireworks were done. There were thousands of people going to their cars afterward, we had to hurry. Being around a lot of people like that is very draining to me since I am an introvert down to a T.  I knew I would probably be out like a light when I got to the car because I find crowds and lots of social interaction draining. It was noisy, crowded, chaotic, absolutely insane. We kind of drifted along with the crowd that was going in the same direction as us, I tried to wear my glasses and it didn't really do anything so I took them off and it was actually better.  Right then was not a time to have my awareness dulled so it was a good thing I took them off. I get lost in crowds if I am not careful (like I said two posts ago).

We eventually got to the car after about 20 or 25 minutes of maneuvering around crowds.  I felt so dead when we finally got to the car. When I sat down I could just feel the urge for sleep coming over me.  We managed to only get stuck in traffic for about 10 minutes which was a miracle since there were thousands of people trying to get out as well. Lucky for me we have lived here so long that we know how to avoid situations like that and get out of traffic fast. We took a different way home.  I was drifting in and out of sleep the whole way home, it came over me really fast. If you know the way and introvert's brain works you would completely understand why, even if you don't if you know what and introvert is you will know why I was so drained after that.  On top of this I am HSP (Highly sensitive person).  This makes it much harder.

By the time we got home it was around midnight. It took us probably 35 minutes to get home. I was so overloaded and every little thing was annoying to me. I wanted to just be alone and sleep, everything, even my bones felt tired. I used every bit of energy I had pretty much to be able to stand that huge crowd of people.  I went downstairs as soon as possible and went inside my room. I decided to wind down a bit and listen to some New Age Music to get more relaxed. I listed to music for about a half an hour and then went to sleep. I slept like the dead yesterday night.

I did not want to wake up in the morning. I think my radio was on for 30 minutes before my brain decided to respond to it. I took a shower yesterday evening so I wouldn't have to wake up earlier today and take one. I know how my brain works so I knew I would be fizzled out and I would need that extra hour and a half of sleep. I usually wake up at 7am on Sundays it but today I woke up at 8:30. I got ready for church, decided what I wanted to wear, did my hair and stuff and got my purse. I had an orange and a glass of milk right before I left, when my ride came. I was still pretty tired, not really recovered from yesterday.

We were a little late for church today but we made the sacrament portion of the meeting. I was semi- fine for the first hour of church and stayed awake pretty well even though I wanted to sleep. The 2nd hour though I fell asleep after just kind of bending over in my seat and letting my head droop. When I managed to get myself to at least be half awake I decided I should probably just go plug my ear buds in my ears and go sit out in the foyer and listen to the scriptures. I was pretty much asleep when I was doing this but even when I was sleeping I could still hear what it was saying.  There were a few times in the 3rd hour of church when I was sleeping out on the couch and listening to the scriptures on my iPhone that I went into this state where I was awareness where I was semi-aware of things going on around me and my body and stuff, not like sleep paralysis or anything like that, that is different but it was still weird. It was like I was asleep but became aware of that when I was sleeping, kind of like I was kind of awake but not really. I could still move a little bit. Then another time I actually had a mini dream that I woke up to late after church and everyone was gone. For some reason in that dream I was carrying 3 purses haha. That was super weird.

i did not want to get off the couch, my brain knew it had to wake up again though and so it did and I felt SO drowsey, I was stumbling everywhere and if everyone didn't know better because we were at church and none of us drink they probably would have thought I was drunk or something. I really felt like I could fall asleep standing up. I found my ride and we left o go home. i could not wait to go home. The hot car kind of made me wake up a little bit but I was still pretty tired, wiped out from yesterday.  I didn't say anything to anyone in the car on the way home. None of them really tried to talk to me I told them I was feeling really wiped out.

When I got home I went straight downstairs, got on my casual clothes, and went back upstairs for a few minutes to eat something. My dad made waffles right before he and my mom went to church. I ate some waffles and drank some milk and went downstairs. I checked facebook and Destiny Online and a few other things and decided to turn off my computer because it would be completely silent. I turned off my computer and turned on Pandora Radio on my iPhone. I had it on the New Age Mix station. I climbed back into bed and was out like a light within 2 or 3 minutes.

I had a few times during my 3 hour nap when I would kind of wake up a little and I would be aware of my body. My body felt heavy, I could tell it really wanted sleep, my brain could tell this too because I went right back into deep sleep after I realized this. The music and the mixture of silence really helped me a lot along with the extra sleep. I felt a lot better when I woke up. It's amazing what silence and quiet music can do for you along with sleep when you are an HSP Introvert like me.  I no longer felt like I would collapse any moment after I slept more.  I'm still a bit tired, but nothing sleeping later can't fix. I'm still not completel recovered but I think I will be by tomorrow. Tomorrow is my birthday, I am turning 22.

I just watched Star Trek Next Generation and ate a Sandwich after this. I also turned back on my computer and I have just been watching anime and stuff. I don't think anything else will happen tonight but if it does I will remember to update.

Summer Carnival

So the day before yesterday I put everything in my room away, cleaned up a bit and then started moving my furniture around. I had to pull the drawers out of both my dressers before I moved the stuff around. My furniture was arranged really weird. When my closet was built in October last year I had to move stuff around a lot. One of my dressers used to be in the space that my closet is now occupying and so we had to move it next to my bed (which is a really weird place), and I had to kind of tolerate it being there until either me or my parents had the time and the motivation to move my stuff around. So my stuff has been in this really super weird arrangement for a long time.

We were cleaning the house and moving some stuff around, I got motivated to move my furniture around finally. I was going to do it with the help of my parents but they are at Tabernacle Choir tour. I just did it all myself. some of the stuff was heavy, I actually have slight bruising on my arms from lifting some heavy drawers and even the dressers themselves. My little one that is more like a desk was easier to move once I got the drawers out but the big one was a little heavy. I also had to be careful the legs of the dresser didn't drag to much because they could break if I wasn't careful. In the end I managed to re-arrange every piece of furniture in my room, it was hard but my room is no longer really cluttered and it feels like an actual room again.  It's been nice coming into a room that isn't a complete mess and with furniture in weird places.

So the day before yesterday was pretty much just that, me cleaning up and watching anime and stuff.

Yesterday nothing much happened. me and my sister and a few other family members have been getting ready for my sister to come down from California with my nephew. I mostly played Tetris, and organized a little more. Most of my day yesterday I was trying to catch up on some anime I'm behind on. I do this at least once a week since I am watching so many anime shows.

Anyway, so today started out pretty normal. In the morning I just listened to music to wake up and played some tetris, updated facebook, and watched some stuff on youtube.  Around noon my sister asked if I wanted to go to this summer carnival that was happening over at one of our local grocery stores. I wasn't really doing anything that urgent so I grabbed my sunglasses, my cane (which i ended up not using), and my purse. It was really hot outside. They were giving out hot dogs, soda, and chips for  50 cents (for all 3). I am on my diet but I decided just this once I would let myself cheat a little bit just because this was a once a year thing. The chips, hot dog, and soda were pretty good! I got my favorite Ranch Doritos, and a raspberry cream Shasta soda, and one of the hot dogs.  We sat at one of the yellow cloth covered tables ( actually the cloth was plastic), and then we ate.

When I was done I started to walk over to where they were selling cotton candy and snow cones. Right before I left to go over to the line, my niece spilled her root beer. The tables were kind of slanted so the soda started running down the table. We had to stop it with a napkin and then go call someone to help us clean it up. They gave my niece another root beer, it was nice.  I walked over to the snow cone and cotton candy line and got a red ticket for 50 cents for the snow cone. I thought that once ticket got both a snow cone and a cotton candy but the guy that sold it to me was wrong. I only got the snow cone and by the time I got out of the line I didn't feel like cotton candy anyway, so no loss there.

I just walked around and looked at the booths for a while. There was one where they were painting people's faces for free, and they had a few of those blow up slides and those inflatable jump things. My sister caught me when I was around there and she told me she was taking my nieces to the blow up slides and the other stuff. I just went inside the store (the carnival was outside). The store was pretty nice, it was a lot cooler than outside. I started just walking though the isles, and wandered over to the bakery where they were giving out bread samples. One of my friends, who is named Melissa caught me when I was looking at the cakes, she was at work cleaning the bakery, it was pretty nice to see her. We talked for a few minutes and then she went back to work. It was really nice seeing her there. I went and got a bread sample, the guy that was in charge of the samples teased me and said I couldn't have one because I knew her, he was just kidding of course. It made me laugh.

I walked around the store a few times and bought some glow sticks after a while of wandering around. I don't like buying them on the 4th of July because they are usually over priced.  I looked at some makeup and some other fun stuff after I bought the glow sticks. I was over at the bakery again when I heard someone was waiting for me over the intercom in the store.  I rished over to where my sister was. I had been wandering around the store for probably 30 minutes by then, it was fun though.

We went and got an ice cream cone from somewhere in the store, I got a medium, chocolate, vanilla twist it was really good. My niece got a large one (they call them King Kongs here it's actually bigger than the normal large). She had gotten it without my sister noticing, my sister didn't really care though. I think my other niece just got a regular one.  We left the store after this with out ice cream and went home.

it is still pretty early in the afternoon here so don't be surprised if you see me time stamp and update this post again later. I'm pretty sure other cool stuff is going to happen today.  Anyway, that is all for now I will update for sure later in the day.

EDIT: (it's Sunday June 26th now).

So I didn't get to update yesterday, sorry about that.

So yesterday after I posted I just went back to playing tetris, I did that for a while. I fell asleep after a while and slept for about 2 or 2 and a half hours. When I woke up my brother and sister in law were moving stuff around, cleaning up more. Our family room downstairs here looks a million times better. I don't want to give to many details here, I'll wait until we are finished for that. I just watched them do stuff and hung around my adorable niece for a little bit. After a while I picked up my Nintendo DS off my desk and started playing Diddy Kong Racing for a while. I'm not really the type of person that spends a lot of time playing games like DS games for a long period of time. I played DKR for about 30 minutes then just walked around the house for a while.

My sister was making cheese and chicken enchiladas for dinner, I just kind of watched her make them for a while. I went back downstairs after a while and played Tetris some more. In case if you are wondering why I play it so much, besides just because I love it I also play it because it helps keep my mind organized, and its a real stress reliever. I feel more relaxed when I play. I was also going through some lists of anime and stuff, figuring out what I'm going to catch up on or watch next.

We ate not to long after this, the enchiladas were SO good, they tasted like the ones from our local mexican restaurant. My sister brought out some sour cream, lettuce, and made some guacamole to go with the enchiladas.  We made Pink lemonade to go with everything it was really good.

I went downstairs and read books for a while after I ate. I just read and checked a few things on my computer on occasion until it was time for me and my brother to pick my sister and my nephiew up from the airport.

It was in the evening when we left and went to the airport. We just listened to rock music and talked on the way there. We missed the exit to the airport at some point and then had to track back a bit. We made it to the airport after about an hour I think. We parked between Terminal 1 and 2 because we weren't sure which terminal they were coming through at first. I was kind of sleeping in the car a bit, I woke up once I got out of the car. It's always weird for me going through the airport, it's just so big and there is so much going on. My brain has a hard time taking it all in sometimes.

We figured out it was Terminal 2 she was coming through. We check the arrival list and her flight was late, so we just walked around and visited the convenience store and looked around a bit at everything and looked at some books and stuff that was there. We went and sat down after a few minutes and I just watched youtube videos for a bit and then started playing games on my phone. We got up after a while and walked over to where she would appear. After a few minutes she came down the elevator with my nephew Jax in a stroller and we started looking for her suitcase after a few hugs and stuff.

We were all pretty wiped out, it was almost midnight by the time we were at this point. We just went to the car and drove home. We wouldn't fit the suitcase in the trunk so we just put it in the front seat and I sat in the back with my sister and Jax. Jax was sleepy, we all were, he was playing with my hair and touching my face, it was so cute.

When we got home it was nearly 1am and everyone was asleep. We just brought everything in and I went downstairs and crashed on my bed. I do this thing every night before I go to bed where I just lie there and search random stuff on my phone, it's become a regular habit. It makes me tired, I look up just random stuff or play games to wind down or read, it's nice.  Sometimes I watch short movies and stuff. I usually sleep better if i wind down like that.

Anyway, so that was yesterday. :)

Needle Pricks

So for a couple of years now, probably 3 or 4 I've been having some troubles with my wrist. I expect it has something to do withe the fact that I spend most of my time on the computer, and the repetetive movements I do with my fingers and wrist when I move the mouse. I try to be careful when I am moving the mouse around, I try not to click a lot, it causes my wrist to get worse sometimes. We are still trying to find out the whole cause of it hurting though. We also think it might have something to do with a Ganglion Cyst, I have one that appears sometimes and usually the times when it appears are the times i have been using the computer mouse more heavily, or have been doing repetetive movements with my hand or fingers. I have been trying to do more things that involve less mouse clicking lately.

I have been meaining to go to the docktor and get it checked out for years now but I had no insurance until now. Since I am on SSI even though I hate being on SSI it has allowed me to get insurance finally, so now I can do stuf at the doctor now like i've been meaning to for years. I mentioned a few days ago that I had my first check up in a while, probably about 3 or 4 years. When I had that checkup my doctor took a look at my wrist and he said we could do a few things about it. One of those thingswas we could have an ultrasound done on it to see if they cold find anything wrong.

When I had my checkup a few days ago we also dicided to do my basic blood work as well, so I decided that when I got my ultrasound on my wrist I would also get my blood drawn since I would be at the hospital anyway.

We did this yesterday, a few hours after I posted my accent challenge post. It was cold and rainy, we left about 3:30pm.  When we got to the hospital my dad dropped me off at the door and went and parked. I just stood there in the lobby looking at the map and checked facebook on my phone really fast. Dad came inside the lobby about 2 minutes later and we walked to the place where I was going to get my blood drawn. The room was fairly medium size, it had booths that were separated by curtains. Each booth had one chair and 1 table to put your arm on for when they drew the blood. I sat down on the chair and watched the nurse get the stuff ready. She asked me if I was fasting and I said no, then she told me to put my arm on the table. I hadn't gotten my blood drawn in years but I still remembered the last time I got it drawn, so I wasn't that nervous because I remembered t didn't hurt at all really.  I remember when I got it done the first time, and the only other time I have had it done. I was pretty scared the first time, I looked away that time, I probably should have done it this time as well.

There is something really weird about watching a needle being shoved up your vain in your arm. I think me watching her do it actually made it hurt a little. She had tied one of those rubber tourniquet things around my arm, I don't really know what those are for, but i think it's part of the reason why it doesn't hurt that much. She pulled it off when the needle was still inside my arm. it didn't really make that much of a difference, but i made me a little nervous,  I think this little bit ov nervousness was also from watching the needle inside my arm as well though. I was glad when she took it outof my arm and taped it off. It wasn't really that traumatic, but I was glad to have it over with, and wished that I hadn't looked.

After this we went to the imaging center to get the ultrasound on my wrist done. When we got to the office they showd mea  sheet of information and told me to verify it, after I did that they told me to sit down and wait. I just played around with my iPhone for a while and about 10 minutes later they called me in. It was in a dimly lit room with a normal medical bed. I sat down on the bed and layed my hand on my leg. The doctor put this jelly stuff on my wrist and she began to to over my wrist with the machine. I had never had an ultrasound before so this was really interesting to me, even though i didn't see anything on the monitor it was still a pretty cool experience, it made me curious. The doctor told me that they would have a look at the pictures and they would get back to me today. We left after this.

We went to the store after that and picked up some fruit, juice, nuts, and a few other things. We had picked up my mom just before this so she was with me and my dad. They got occupied with a presentation they were doing, I think it was some kind of blender. We were at Costoco, and I just decided to go see if there were any books I would be interested in. sometimes there are some pretty neat books. There were also some old TV shows on DVD, including Perry Mason which I love a lot. I was so tempted to buy the DVDs.  I managed to un glue my parents from whatever they were doing and we picked up some chips and a few other things and went through the checkout stand. I was really hungry and got a piece of pizza. I love costco's pizza it is my favorite!

We went home after this and I just got back on the computer after unloading the groceries. I moderated the Destiny Forums for a while and read some stuff on Xanga as well. I took a nap for a few hours after this. Nothing much else happened after that, just the usual so far as I can remember. It was a pretty interesting day.

today I got the results back, they came back normal, I think I just need to rest my wrist more so the pain won't come back. I was just reading doing that can help the cyst go away, and the pain as well. I have been being more careful lately and I think it has been working. Even before I read about it I kind of guessed that t would help if i didn't do as many repetetive movements.

It's been kind of a boring rainy day today. I've been catching up on some anime and starting some new ones. Anyway, I guess this is all for now. I might go on COLOURlovers for a while after this. I actually forgot to give you the link to my profile on there last time.

The Result...

I never did write a proper post after Conference weekend.  The talks were pretty good. I especially liked that one from brother Packer that is getting a lot of attention. He talked about the family, and marriage.  He is getting a lot of attention lately. I suggest you read or watch the talk yourself. It was in the 3rd session (that is including preisthood session).  The first session on Sunday, I think it was the 2nd talk if I remember correctly.

I also loved the talk about free agency. I forgot who gave the talk. I will insert links later when I am not feeling to lazy.  ha ha.

My week has been quite exciting. I have been awaiting the reply from Social Security on weather or not I am going to get SSI income. They called on Monday and I have qualified. I’m really excited because I can get a new bed and stuff that I need now and a new computer. it’s quite nice. :)

I am legally blind and some other stuff and it makes it hard for me to get a job, and function properly in general. Plus my social skills suck a lot.

I will eventually be able to go back to school and get a job probably someday. For now though I’m still working out some problems and stuff. At least I will have money to get the stuff I need.

I went to the store with my dad and we got some chicken and some bread. I also got a smoothie. We also visited the social security office, and the Apple store. I figured out what computer I am going to get and also looked at the iPads, and the iPhones, and the iPods  (haha). I wanted to look around more but we had to go.

I should be able to get a phone pretty soon I’m so excited. :)

Anyway, so other than that just the usual has been happening. I am still playing Kingdoms of Camelot on facebook, and Desktop Defender on occasion. I am still working on catching up on America’s next Top Model as well. I took a break for a few days. I am currently on season 12.

I am on 1st Nephi 15 now in the Book of Mormon. And at Exodus in the bible. :)

I guess that is all for now.

Birthday Shopping!

So yesterday was busy.  It started out with me just on the computer but not long after I woke up my sister came downstairs asking me if I wanted to go shopping.

We walked to the local bus stop and caught the bus to the mall. We ate lunch first, I had Japanese food, the guy gave me a  pretty big serving but it was SO good. I love Japanese food. My sister had Italian food.

After that we went to visit the Disney store, where I fell in love with a sheriff woody doll that I have always wanted since I was 5. We also got a few presents for my niece’s birthday. Sadly I did not get to buy the sheriff woody doll it was $50, so worth it though. I would have bought it if I had had the money. the Disney store was pretty great, they had cute stuff like dresses and plates and clothes and stuff it was cute.

I saw this place in the mall when we were walking around that had these really cute stuffed animals. I have always had a weakness for cute stuffed animals.

We went to Gamestop to look for Gamecube games but they werent making them or stocking them anymore. We just decided to leave after that and go to the next store. We went into this electronics store of some kind I didn’t get the name. We found Luigi’s mansion for GC but did not buy it.

We then caught the next bus to UVU, and walked to wallmart and went shopping for art supplies for Natalie.  We were there for a while, it was fun.

After that we just beraly caught the next bus, we didn’t like the bus driver so we got off at the next stop though.

We caught another bus to the transit center where we were waiting for another bus but we decided to go into Deseret book and find a present for my mom for her birthday today. We missed the next but but found her a present. I was mostly looking at CTR rings though. My sister found the book.

we caught another bus and just went home after that. I wa so exhausted when I got home and my feet hurt a little. I slept for 3 hours after that.

I just spent the rest of the day watching movies and just hanging out after that.

I'm So Disappointed in Walmart

they should really look more into the games they get for the store. I've been turned off by one I just recently tried.

Its this game that has 50,000 games on it. Sounds pretty good but its not. When I installed this game it had SO many trojan agents it was crazy! The games were there but so were the viruses. I was just like staring at the many pop ups that came up when my AVG anti virus caught those little buggers. I got rid of the games on the computer and uninstalled them after that and then told everyone in the house about it.

As you can probably guess I am a little turned off from buying games from the store now. You never know what you're really getting. I've downloaded games from the internet that were cleaner than this.

As I said earlier stores should really look more into the items they stock on the shelves.

If I can find the Walmart page for it or a picture I'll put it up later. I'm currently looking for it. Its just called 50,000 games.
