5 Day Experiment

So I've been gone from Xanga for a few days and haven't written anything. So a little over a week ago I decided to do an experiment. Around October I had been playing this game called Destiny Online for almost a year. Then suddenly my fan stopped working properly and my computers performance, the performance of videos I watch, and a lot of other things started to just go downhill. 

I didn't think it was the game at the time but all the same I cut my playing time down a lot and eventually quit for a long time.

I cleaned out my fan, and started shutting off my computer at night and at least once or twice for an hour every day. My computer's performance went back to normal and everything was good.

So I decided to do an experiment to see if it was really the game that caused all my problems in the first place.  

I gave my computer the normal amount of rest I stated above, shut down un nessicary programs, browsers, music players, anything that would make it increasingly hard on my computer. I installed Destiny Online and started playing again. Within the first two days I cold tell it was hard on my computer, though the game still worked fine, but it got increasingly worse the longer I played it. by the 3rd day videos were starting to get choppy and my character on the game was starting to get laggy and slower every day. I could tell yesterday something was off. Plus I can tell by now much noise my computer makes as well. 

So my game was working semi fine today. then I gave it a  break fora  half an hour a nd everything went back to the way it was when I was having all those computer problems. My game got really slow, videos got choppy again, my fan wasn't working normally. From the behavior of my computer the past couple of days I'd been waiting for this to happen.

so in the end I confirmed that it was Destiny Online that was causing all those problems. Its just to hard on my computer to run it, it exhausts it. I think if I had kept on playing it my computer would have died a long time ago.  It did overheat at least 3 times last year while I was playing.  

So safe to say I think my computer will go back to normal just like it did last time I quit playing. I'm glad I now the reason now.

Citrus Part 1 (story)

This is just an experimental story I am writing, but I want t share it with people. When I write the real one it will have much more detail and better story lines, stuff like that.

Deep in a magical kingdom there lived a king named Danal, and a queen named Rose. Their kingdom had been blessed by prosperity and peace for many years, their economy was good and mostly everyone got along well and were happy. Despite this there was only one thing that the happy kingdom lacked. The kingdom did not have an heir to the throne, for the king and queen had trouble giving birth to an heir. The queen Rose longed so much for a son or a daughter to call her own. 

As the years went by, 10 to be exact, the king and queen slowly lost hope that they would ever be able to give birth to any children. But then, on the queen's 35th birthday a mysterious woman clad in purple and blue robes and fine silk made a visit to the palace. This mysterious beautiful woman with red hair and green eyes bestowed upon the king and queen one mysterious gift, an orange tree. This tree was not very big yet, it was a very new tree. 

"On the first year this tree blooms and the oranges grow to their full size, take a single orange and brew the seeds in a simple tea, after you drink it a miracle will occur." The beautiful woman said to them as she turned to leave.
the king and queen were not quite sure what would happen if they did so but they thanked the women as she walked away into the starry night.

Over the next year the king and queen hired professional gardeners to look after the tree to make sure it was well taken care of because they were so busy doing other things. It wasn't too long before the tree bloomed, and grew big wonderful oranges. The king and queen were anxious to know what this miracle was that would happen if they headed the mysterious woman's words. 

They asked about the women everywhere but apparently she was not well known, they gave up after a few months and just decided to take her advice. And so one day the queen walked out into her royal harden and picked a big fresh orange off of the orange tree. She peeled it, and took all the seeds from the orange and brewed them in a wonderful tea. Secretly in her heart, she wished that this miracle would be a child but she dare not hope. When she drank the tea it warmed her whole body, she felt a strange sense of comfort within her chest, one she had not felt for quite a while. Deep in her heart she knew that everything would be fine. And so for the next few days she waited in patience for something to happen.

Days passed and still nothing happened, but the king and queen stayed patient and waited for their miracle. One day when the king and queen were at a royal lunch with some of their friends the queen fell ill and fainted. The king became very worried that she had become sick and worried very much for her life. He called the best royal doctor he could find and asked him what was wrong with his beloved wife. The doctor examined his weak wife carefully. "Her majesty is with child. I am glad to say that you two shall have a baby". 

Overwhelmed with emotion, the king broke down and wept with tears of joy. The day would finally come when he would have an heir to the throne, and his wife would have a child to love. 

And so that day great celebration in the kingdom erupted, as everyone learned of the wonderful news. And that day was forever known as the "Day of the Orange Blossoms".
