Today was mom’s birthday and we had the best chef salads ever. Mine had
Lettuce, tomatoes, yellow and orange bell peppers, cucumbers, broccoli,
cheese, egg, ham, chicken, almonds, walnuts, radishes, carrots, and
ranch. I think the only thing that was missing was purple cabbage and
jicama.
We also had Toffee and chocolate Tillamook ice cream along with four
kinds of Coconut Bliss ice cream instead of cake. It was great and we
all had fun watching the Olympics together.

Five Hours
There is always a weird vibe around work. I can’t really put my
finger on it, but I just never feel like I really fit in. I definitely
do my job to the best of my abilities, but I feel likepeople are
reluctant to let me take a little more charge. Sometimes I can’t blame
them because I know I’m a bit absent minded, but I wish they would
believe in me a little more. I don’t know, maybe I’m not as good at my
job as others, I don’t really know. If I’m not I’m pretty sorry about
that. I just don’t feel like an equal a lot of the time. I have good
days and I have bad days.
It’s been weird doing five hour shifts. One of my fellow coworkers asked me to cover for her. I guess someone had their doubts that i could do her job so they had someone extra there just in case. That kind of thing make me feel really weird, but it’s really rare for me to complain. Marco is prety easy to work with and I enjoy his company well enough. I think the pros might outweigh the cons in this case actually. I’m glad I have a few people I feel like I get along with at work. Though, I don’t think I want to be stuck on five hour shifts any time soon. Four hour shifts are just enough for me right now I’m sure.
We were pretty great at keeping up with everything today. We had full stocks of cinnastix, cinna sweeties, center of the roll, cinnamon rolls, and other stuff. The only thing that went wrong today was that we ran out of the raspberry lemonade mixture, but thankfully we had extra in the fridge. I feel like things have been going smoother since we got the new management. I personally had no trouble with the old one, but it’s been nice the past few weeks since we switched. The manager also handles things at Coldstone, so we have all known him for a while since we all do stuff side by side.
Speaking of Coldstone, they have all of my favorite flavors currently! Mint, mango sorbet, marshmallow, and banana! I got the marshmallow one with chocolate shavings yesterday! It was fabulous!
I actually bought some cinnasweeties yesterday as a snack. I usually try to stay away from buying things from work because they are so unhealthy, but I felt like this was alright this time. The cinna sweeties are actually the healthiest thing we have at Cinnabon. I do get a bit tempted to buy the more unhealthy options, but I’ve been great about that lately.
Yesterday and Thursday were pretty much normal, other than it was a bit busy and we sold more cinna sweeties than usual. Usually we have a bit of trouble selling them even though they aren’t that bad at all. Well, I guess on Thursday they didn’t sell that good. It was just today that they sold good. We made and sold a lot of things. I was so glad when my shift was over though. Thursdays shift was harder because I got stuck taking over sampling for someone. I guess that wasn’t so bad because I got to help someone, but I still hate doing it. I really don’t think that will ever change.
I am excited to go to Bear lake next week and have some fun. I feel like this is making me not enjoy being there so much right now. Usually when I have something to look forward to this happens. I just have one more four hour shift to get through. I really should get to bed because it’s around 3am, but I’m trying to put it off a little I’ll admit. I hate doing the sample shift so much. I’ll get through it somehow. I just have to remember I’m as free as a bird after that. I decided to condense Thursday and Friday into one post because the events of both days ere pretty similar. One thing I’ve noticed about the past two days and this weird schedule is that it doesn’t help my eating habits. I’ve eaten far too much the past two days. I’m going to crack down on that tomorrow for sure. I’ll tell you more about that tomorrow.

Looking For a New Printer
Dad refuses to buy another printer and so I’m just going to do it for
him. Our printer really sucks you see. I’m pretty sure it’s lost the
ability to print out anything red. I don’t know why he refuses to give
up on that lost cause, but I think it’s a male thing. This is the case
for him anyway. I notice that he hates getting help fixing things. Here
is a picture of the printer.
Check out our Stone Age phone too! Another thing I’m going to make sure to get rid of someday. I get that we aren’t super financially stable, but these things are important.
So yesterday I went printer hunting. I just stuck with R.C. Willey and Best Buy yesterday, but I will probably check out other places soon though. I want to get a 4 in 1 HP or Canon one I’m pretty sure. I am trying to get a laser printer this time. I will get photos of the printers I like soon. I should have done it yesterday, but I was lazy. Can’t do it today because of work. Well actually, maybe I’ll do it after work. I don’t work as late today.
Another thing I looked for at Best Buy was laptops and keyboards. The family computer has a pretty atrocious keyboard. I am not buying a laptop anytime soon however. I want to make sure I have a good headset first before anything. I haven’t had one in forever and it’s been inconvenient.
There is the keyboard. You practically have to pound the keys.
Yesterday was blazing hot, but eventually by the time I was done window shopping it was cloudy and later it rained. There was a rainbow and I did get a panorama!
Anyway, I missed watching the men’s gymnastics tonight and am kind of bummed about that. I am pretty sure that they’ll upload it to YouTube. At least that is what I’m hoping. The men haven’t been doing great, but I still love watching them.
I nearly forgot to mention that I got dinner at the store tonight. I got Mac & cheese and this broccoli salad stuff that kind of tastes like coleslaw.

I Just Want Everything In the Store
Nothing much happened today. I just stayed home for most of it
except for a brief trip to the store. I couldn’t decide what to get for a
while. Laura, Bunny and I went together. Laura got lemon cookies, some
cereal, and some ice cream. I thought about getting a chocolate cherry
cashew KIND bar, but later settled on ambrosia. I have been craving
ambrosia for a few days and I decided to just go for it. I just got a
small personal container. I was happy to see that i over estimated the
cost. The charge by weight. I think it’s $4 a pound or something like
that. It only cost me $1.80 and this made me really happy.
I really need to get more snacks. I should also do a picture post of things I love the most at the store. In case some of my visually impaired friends have found this blog I will include descriptions of everything as well. Sometimes I just feel like I want to buy everything in the store. Of course, even if I was rich I wouldn’t really do that. Well, if I did perhaps not any of the unhealthy stuff. I am trying to lose weight so I don’t want to sabotage my progress. I am going to do another weight loss update around September first.
Tonight’s dinner was my least favorite thing in the world. I hate beef and rice. mom made a great effort to make ti taste good, but no amount of seasoning can save the churches beef chunks. My church helps people with food if they need it but some of the stuff they have to give isn’t all that great. It was edible, but I think I’ll stay away from it for good this time. Rice with other things is great, but I just hate the beef mainly. One thing I ate a lot of today was spaghetti squash. I love that stuff so much. Anyway, I’ll get some pictures of the food we get. right now we are getting help from church because we have been a bit financially. I love being LDS, even if people do have a lot of misconceptions about us.
I am proud of the women’s gymnastics team, they are great so far at these Olympics. I will give my thoughts on them when they are done with everything though. For tonight I’ll just leave it at this.

I Love Breadsticks
There is this really nice Italian place in the mall food court
that makes amazing pizza, pasta, Stromboli, and bread sticks. They are
pretty basic where their food choices are concerned, but it’s always
worth it. Basically that is all they serve, spaghetti, Alfredo, pizza,
Stromboli, bread sticks and drinks. They are great at stuffed pizza.
It’s basically pizza crust stuffed with sauce, meat and cheese. That is
what I had for lunch today along with the bread sticks which could
easily beat Olive Garden’s into the ground. The place is called Villa
Italian Kitchen. They are probably the only fast food place I know of
that has Sobe Lifewater to drink. Not in a bottle, but from a drink
machine. I love that stuff so much.
I had to go to school today to get sone documentation proving i saw the school psychologist yesterday. I really hope that all this stuff I’m doing will help me get the pell grant. I hate doing all this paper work, but hopefully in the end it’ll be worth it. I just have to prove that I won’t fail or drop out if any of my classes again. It’s been 3 years since I last had to withdraw with the help of the school psychologist. Man that was a good amount of stress I was under back then. I was dealing with my friend Ronnie who was recovering from a drug addiction and I had feelings for Ronnie at the time. He kept on trying to kick me out of his life over and over and then came back. He ended up cleaning up and got married eventually. I honestly still feel the after effects of him abandoning me several times. I really don’t blame him for pushing me away back then, he was going through so much. We are still good friends and haven’t had any hard times with each other so far as our friendship goes since he got together with Renee. those two are great for each other. I ginuinely believe they are soulmates.
Another thing I did was return that library book that I forgot I already owned a copy of. I got some French and English grammar books to help me with my upcoming French class. I had to ride the bus to the mall, to the library, then back to the mall and back to school again once the Student health services office had the document ready for me. I was exhausted earlier when I got home.. I chose to get a ride from Dad instead of ride the bus some more. I had dad pick me up from walmart. today was fun because i got to go to the library, but I can’t wait until alll this school stuff is done with. I just want to enjoy my classes. I don’t mind homework even though it’s hard sometimes.
I did get a bit of sun today when I was walking to the bus stops, but thankfully I didn’t get burned today. I took a nap earlier and have been watching the Olympics since I got home. It’s sad that the men’s gymnastics did so poorly tonight. I haven’t watched it yet because it’s on later tonight, but I saw some stuff on the news. Probably the last thing I did tonight before this was go to the store. Mom didn’t feel like cooking so we went and picked up some yogurt, apple juice and some sandwiches. I also had some fancy cheese that was in the fridge. Our local store has a lot of cool cheeses and I haven’t tried nearly as many as I want to. So I had sweet potatoes, a tuna sandwich, yogurt and cheese for dinner. Some of you might find that beyond weird, but it’s what I was stuck with tonight. I’m just grateful I wasn’t stuck eating a bowl of only sweet potatoes.
Anyway, I’ll post pictures of my books and stuff tomorrow. I’m so tired now I don’t feel like uploading photos right now. I’m glad I got to do stuff today.

Mac & Cheese and WHAT?!
Okay, so I am not fond of boxed Mac and cheese to begin with. I’ll
admit right now that if I’d know that Laura would make hamburgers later
I wouldn’t have touched the stuff. I’ll eat Mac & cheese if it is
available when I’m hungry, but I prefer the home made stuff. Today mom
got the idea of making Mac & cheese soup with hot dogs and green
beans. Yeah, you read that right GREEN BEANS! I don’t mind the nice ones
from Costco that come in a frozen bag, but I think canned green beans
are gross. Hot dogs are also something I don’t like much to be honest.
I’m more of a brotwurst kind of person. I love all the spices and the
creativity. Mom is a great cook and she loves to experiment sometimes. I
feel like this one was a flop today. That might just be me. I think I
would have disliked it less if she had put peas in it instead. You might
think that is weird, but I grew up with that when we had boxed Mac
& cheese. I’ve even had it with hot dogs, but I prefer it without.
In my opinion hot dogs belong on a grill and then between a bun. It’s
just weird to me to put them in a soup or whatever. I wish if gotten a
picture of it all. By the way, I ate around the green beans. I also got
the taste from it all out of my mouth with apple juice and a banana
coconut Popsicle. Life is good.
I have been watching the olympics tonight. I love gymnastics, running and water sports. I’m glad team USA has won a few medals already. To be honest I’m happy when other people win as well. Probably because I have friends all over the world. Anyway, I’m not watching right now. I’m actually using the 5-0 police radio app to listen to the Chicago police scanner. It’s sad they have to deal with so much, but they do their job well in my opinion. I am an optimist and believe there are a lot of good police officers. I actually feel like we take them for granted sometimes.

The True Nature of a Rainbow
I have always been crazy about color my whole life. I find all the different shades and color names very interesting. I thought the video above was interesting because I’m sure I’m not the only one that has noticed that rainbows aren’t really red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. I’ve always wondered why that is, and now I understand a little better. I would like to understand a lot more, but that will come with time i guess. Also, I might as well mention this website I love called COLOURlovers where you can discover colors, name them, create patters and also pallets. I have been a member of the site for over 8 years now and love it just as much as I did the day I joined.
Not Black & White
I am so blessed and I’m sure despite my trials that has always been the
case. Life is often portrayed as dull and full of negative things. In
the end however that is not the true nature of the world. There is so
much color in this world and we should practice finding it. Optimism is
something that takes time to develop. It might be hard at first to see
the positive but as you keep looking it gets easier and easier. This
world really isn’t as bad as people sometimes say it is. There are lots
of great things happening. I get the appeal of drama. I understand why
the mainstream news focuses on it drama is exciting, but too much is
toxic. I really think we need more balance in the news. People are
depressed and we need to show each other this world isn’t black and
white.

Just for Today
I am not attending my home ward for church, but today the stake that my home ward is in had a BBQ and a pool party. Laura made cookies and we brought some to the BBQ. I was kind of surprised there weren't more cookies to be honest. I think there were more last year. Tons of people came and we had hot dogs and sloppy joes along with chips, salad and watermelon. Someone did bring white chocolate rice krispy treats. I think I liked those better than the cookies. There was also ice cream, but I didn't feel like any. I am going back off sugar like I've said before soon. I was going to start again a couple of days ago, but don't feel like now is the time. Just for today I let myself go completely crazy food wise.
The pool party was fun. I didn't stay in the pool for long. I was more interested in the cold sprinklers. they did have quite a variety of them. I love splash pads, they are fun. Here is a very short video of the pool. The splash pad with the sprinklers is at the beginning.
Anyway, I had the day off work today. I started playing Talos Principal a little bit today and have just been relaxing. the game is cool and it is a puzzle game with some elements that would seem familiar to someone who has played the Portal games. I'm only a little way through it, but I love it so far. Actually something that happened in the game made me want to write today. I know I haven't for a while. The scene is sort of hard to explain, at least now, but it had to do with someone realizing the importance of recording experiences.
For some reason when I went to the park earlier I was in kind of a cranky mood. I just get that way on occasion, I don't know why. I suppose it's because I've been kind of bad about my eating habits today. I really don't know. I'm glad tomorrow is fast Sunday. I'll be able to give my body a reset.

Tedious Paperwork
If there is anything I’d like to avoid as much as possible in my life
it’s paper work. I HATE paper work. I have to do some so I can qualify
for my school scholarship. Vocational Rehab is also helping pay as well
so if things go south I can always rely on them to pay what I don’t get.
All of us are hoping I can get it, but I have to fix some failed
requirements. One of the things I have to turn in is a statement
explaining the reasons why I did bad my first two semesters years ago. I
hadn’t started blogging back when I started yet, but a lot happened.
Basically after graduating in 2007 from high school I bombed my first
two semesters, took a four year break and I’ve going at my own pace. I
had to withdraw one semester in 2013, but things have been going well
ever since. All that stuff messed up my pell grant elegebility though so
I have to turn in proof that things have changed. This means paperwork,
ugh. Some of it has to be professionally notarized too. Mom said she
would take care of that thankfully.
I went to school today and made sure I understood everything about the pell grant requirements. I didn’t bother going home after this. I just took the bus to the mall and hung out there before work. I went to Pretzel Maker and got some pretzel dogs with some spicy nacho cheese as a pre work meal. I’m there for 4 hours a shift so I can get pretty hungry after.
Work was pretty nice today, there were a lot of customers at Cinnabon and I think I got the bulk of them to be honest. Well, I guess Marco got a lot too. I rolled a lot of cinnamon rolls and cut up cinnamon rolls for when we make the center of the roll. The center of the roll is basically cut up cinnamon roll ends in a cup with extra frosting on top. The name is ironic, but it’s my favorite thing there. The regular one has this cinnamon caramel frosting along with the regular frosting and the caramel pecan ones have the caramel frosting and the plain caramel along with pecans. I also helped create cinnastix and cinna sweeties. Other than that I cleaned the lobby and a whole bunch of random stuff. Work was pleasant, but I wish my schedule wasn’t so random.
Mom and dad were on a date, so Laura picked me up and brought me a home made cheeseburger that my niece didn’t want. On our way home we went to the Library because Taly wanted to go Pokemon hunting. Bunny is autistic and can’t read for the most part so washed has never had much of an interest in Pokemon. I just don’t feel like playing so I checked out a book about the universe and a book about the earth. Funnily enough I forgot I already own the second one. I’ll just return it tomorrow or next week. I also looked up books on French and English grammar because I’m taking French this semester at school. I haven’t been to the library much lately, but now I think I want to change that. I read a lot, but usually just buy my books.
Nothing much happened after we got home. I did eat a bit more of my left over birthday ice cream cake though. I figure I should whittle that down little by little before o go sugar free again.

Chopping Off the Locks
Today I went to vocational rehab again and was actually stuck there
for nearly two hours while Judy typed up all the info to send to the
government so I can get help for school. Book money and stuff like that.
She had to know my financial status, and a whole lot of personal info. I
brought her my grades like she asked from spring semester and also
brought a new book list, tuition cost paper, and class schedule. To be
honest I still have my doubts about taking French this semester, but
I’ll try my best. She said I could drop that class if it becomes too
hard for me. One thing I’m anxious about is that I have to do the pell
grant SAP (satisfactory academic progress) appeal so I can get the pell
grant to pay for school. I have to at least try and fix my inelegebility
for that or vocational rehab can’t pay for college. They want the pell
grant to pay as much as it can and the. They do the rest. I’m a bit
nervous because I looked at all the stuff I need for the appeal and I
don’t understand all of it. I failed my first two semesters and then had
to withdraw from one in fall 2013 so that messed up my pell grant
elegebility and vocational rehab has been paying every semester, but
this time I guess they need me to try to get the pell grant. I think
things are getting more strict there or something.
Anyway, after all that stuff with Judy and waiting for everything to be typed up I finally got to leave. I have to go to school tomorrow and ask about the requirements for the pell grant appeal. I get that I’m supposed to tell them what happened with those three semesters I had trouble in and what has changed, but the rest I’m fuzzy on. I hate paperwork…
Mom and I actually got to go to one of the local outdoor shopping centers to look for Pokemon. There is this shop that sells toys, games and candy that I think is the cutest thing ever. Mom loved it and thought it was charming as well. I found out about it when I was out with friends last year. I’ll have to get pictures sometime.
After I was done at vocational rehab I ate a B-UP bar (cookie dough flavored) for a late lunch and since my hair appointment was at 6:30 and it was 3 hours away I had mom drop me off at the mall. I wanted to show off my new shirt anyway.
I just walked around for a while and eventually got my haircut! One thing I really like doing when I’m at the mall is checking out all the rings at S.L. Sorry I have to omit names, I do it for privacy. It’s basically a little jewelry kiosk. I got my ears pierced there a year ago. I’ll have to get pictures of their stuff sometime. I also made a stop by work and got a frozen lemonade. I got the raspberry one. I was planning on staying away from sugar again, but I really wanted a lemonade. Anyway, I am glad my hairstylist Brenna is back from maternity leave. She is the only one I trust with my hair. She did a great job tonight Here is is below. It took about an hour for Brenna to do it.
I am happy with it and it’s so easy to manage! Oh, but one thing I forgot to mention when I was talking about walking around the mall is that my favorite grilled cheese place Melty Way closed down! I’m so heart broken. Stuff like this happens on a regular basis at the mall. It really is a tragic thing to say the least.
Anyway, dad picked me up and I went home and got to show off my new cut.

A Bit of Thrift Store Luck
Natalie had a violin lesson today and I took the opportunity to go
with her and Laura to the music store. I ditched them soon after of
course and they knew I was going to do this. I decided to go walking
down the street to the mall. I actually wasn’t there for long because I
wanted to go back and walk down the street to do other things. I made a
brief stop to Good earth and got some B-UP protein bars. I
got one cinnamon roll one and one caramel vanilla one. I meant to get a
sugar cookie one but this guy came out of nowhere and just decided he
wanted all of them. It was really weird, but I am happy with the ones I
got. Mom used to work at Good Earth, but she quit after
about 13 years. She had the put up with a horrible manager during her
last few years but she was recently fired. Mom is actually thinking of
going back because we need the money and she thinks it’ll be better
again. I don’t know how I fell about that and don’t really trust or like
most of the employees anymore.
I headed north down the street I was on and decided to make a stop at Walgreens to just look around. I’m thinking of buying a new razor because the one I use right now really sucks. I also might buy hair dye there the next time I do my hair. I usually get it at Sally's Beauty Supply which I also visited today, but I’m not sure yet. I’m not even sure what color I want to do yet to be honest.
In the end I ended up at a local thrift store down the street. I have gotten quite good at finding stuff I like on the racks. There are so many random things to look through it takes a lot of patience. I love looking through everything because there are some pretty funny things on the racks sometimes. Some are just too flamboyant for me to believe anyone would wear them. I always get a good laugh from it all. Today I struck a bit of good luck where finding stuff I like is concerned. Of course, some of it didn’t fit as that usually happens every time I go there. I managed to find two shirts I like, but am not going to do photos today. You will see them eventually, I guarantee that. One is black and white and one is yellow with a colorful design. I am happy with what I found and can’t wait to go there again in a few weeks. I wanted some real food after being there for probably an hour and a half looking at everything so I went to Cafe Rio and got a half beef and half chicken salad. i LOVE Cafe Rio. tortilla, rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, meat, chips, dressing, etc. the whole thing tastes super good. I called mom and she came and got me from there because I really did not want to ride the bus again.
The rest of the day really isn’t important. I’ll just leave it at this. If I pressure myself to write too many details I burn myself out and lose my motivation to write.🙂

Harry Potter and the Tuesday Sugar Hangover
My day pretty much started out rough. After eating sugar again on
Saturday, Sunday and Monday I woke up feeling horrible for the 3rd day
in a row. My body has been having trouble adjusting to eating sugar
again after being off of it for 23 days. I am most likely going right
off of it again. I don’t want to wake up feeling like this every day. I
just want to feel healthy and energetic, not sick and crabby.
I had to go over to Vocational Rehab to get things all set up for school today. I haven’t seen Judy for a long time (since January I think) and it was nice to see her. She is so helpful and gets me everything I need for school. I love how Vocational Rehab has been paying for my school, they are wonderful. I wasn’t there for very long. i had to sign a few documents and I gave her my grades from last semester, a book list for next semester, a page showing my tuition costs, and a few other things. They can only pay for my schooling as long as I pass my classes and do my best. I actually have to go back there on Thursday because some of the documents I sent in the email I sent to her like my grades and stuff didn’t print out right. It’s also probably a good idea to not email them this next time. I have to add another class because she wants me to take at least 12 credits. Right now I’m signed up for English 1010, Intro to Theater, and a stress management class. I am thinking of taking French, but I’m not sure. That will most likely be the class I add.
I decided to buy a copy of Harry Potter and the Cursed child after i went home. I didn’t buy a hard copy because I wanted to make sure it was a shelf worthy story. i bought it through iBooks instead on my iPhone. I am glad that I did this because even though I loved the story I had a feeling like I was reading through a fan fiction the whole time. I completely finished it and enjoyed it, but I’m not sure I will read it again. Some things made me feel uneasy like Albus kissing Hermione when he was disguised as Ron. I know he was just staying with the disguise, but it creeped me out a lot. The whole air and feeling of the story just bugged me all around. I understand that it is just a play script and not meant to be an actual book though so I will just trust that it translates different on stage. I’m hoping that I’ll get to see it someday because I really want to see if that is true. I think people should read it at least once to see how they feel, but I thought it was just okay. I totally understand why other people love it however.
The only other thing I did today was take a couple of walks. I love the weather, it feels really nice. It’s been blazing hot, but I love the heat. I just have to make sure I drink a lot after or when i go out.

They're Back! WooHoo!
There is this kiosk in the mall called “That Sweet Shop”. They
were known as Zapple last year I think. They left after Christmas and I
was very sad. They sell stuff like caramel apples, plain caramel, salted
caramel, chocolate popcorn, frosted pretzels and a few other things
that don’t come to mind right now. I don’t like to eat this kind of
stuff all the time, but when I do I love it. My favorite things there
are the white chocolate popcorn, the salted caramels, and the smore’s
caramel apple. I am so happy to see them at the mall again.
I am currently planning on going sugar free again because being off of my sugar free diet has had me feeling really bad in the mornings, but life happens so I don’t know if I’ll be able to indefinitely stay on it. I’m pretty sure I’ve been feeling bad because before last Saturday I was sugar free for 23 days so my body is having trouble adjusting. With that in mind I don’t know if I’ll actually stick to it strictly or have some sugary things every once in a while. Only time will tell though.
Today I ate a lot of sugar actually. I am just assuming that I’ll be going sugar free again tomorrow so I had a bit of fun today. I went to Coldstone Creamery and got a mango sorbet shake with coconut in it. I of course went to that kiosk I mentioned above and got some salted caramel as well. I really might have over done it today because after I got home I was right out the door again to ward Family Home Evening for a BBQ. We had hot dogs that we roasted ourselves over a fire, home made root beer, smore’s, chips, and a few other things. We hung out and later everyone played games, but I left before this. I don’t think I should step on the scale yet because I might see something I don’t want to see. Something I did see that I liked at the BBQ though was that the sister of one of my fellow ward members has blue hair. I just thought that was so cool. I am thinking of dying mine purple or red again soon.
So today was a fun day of walking around town and eating sugar. Crazy enough I am snacking on Spree and Everlasting Gobstoppers until midnight right now. I promised myself I wouldn’t eat candy like that anymore after today. I might buy them as a room decoration sometime, but other than that I’m trying to stay away from candy like that definitely. This was kind of an unwise way to start out August, but I feel like I should allow myself to have fun days like this sometimes. I don’t know what I’ll do about my sugar free plans right now on that note. I might go sugar free most of the time, but have one or two free days a month or something like that. Life is unpredictable so who knows.
