Reset

Happy New Year! I'm hoping this will be a great year.

Last night the family had a fondue and frying party. We had two kinds of cheese fondue and some chocolate fondue. The two cheese ones were Swiss and pimento cheese. We dipped fruit and angel food cake in the chocolate one. The cheese one we used for crackers and other stuff like chips. We fried quite a few things in oil, it was fun. Some examples are tempura (broccoli dipped in batter and then fried), pigs in a blanket which are little wieners wrapped in dough and then fried, cheese cubes wrapped in dough and then fried, we fried raw meat, fruit, and I even dipped a piece of banana in batter and fried it.

We had veggies like snap peas, cherry tomatoes and broccoli, fruit like pineapple, apples, oranges and bananas. There was chips, crackers, avocado dip, olive dip, mustard and ketchup for some of the fried things. We had Apple juice and Martinellis sparkling juice for the drinks. I actually got some pictures and a video.

The weather over the past few days has been bitter cold and windy. The snow came down hard and stuck. It's been in the single digits at night and the family and I have been more than happy to stay inside. The wind actually blew our shutters off of our house, I didn't even know we had any. Thankfully no windows were broken and we didn't lose any roofing this time.

We took down our tree and Linda and Justin have been packing their things and are going to go home with Jax and Violet soon. It has been fun even though we all got sick during the holidays. Jax definitely got it the worst. He wasn't over everything until yesterday. He was vomiting for 4 days and in pain for another because of acid reflux and other problems. He wasn't keeping fluids down. I'm glad he is okay and everyone is through that stuff including me.

I've been watching Zeldathon, for the past six days I've been watching people play all the Legend of Zelda games on the funforfreedom twitch.tv channel. They are doing it for charity. I donated $5 and got to have my comments read aloud over the air. The whole thing is crazy and fun and a lot of stuff happens on it. They dance, sing, dress up, they have a wheel they spin and they do different things like foam sword fighting, funny chants, girls slapping boys, duct tape leg waxing, hair shaving, and so much more. I can't even explain how many things go on. There are a lot of people involved and it happens every six months. They go all night and all day non stop. This time I think it is 9 days, it's so amazing. One of my favorite YouTubers SuperMCgamer arranges all of it. Zeldathon has been happening for 5 years. If you see this post before the 3rd you should make a stop to either Zeldathon.net or twitch.tv/funforfreedom and check it out.

Anyway, the family has been just playing Pandemic again and yesterday they were playing banana grams. I haven't been playing because I've been doing my own thing, but we've all had fun over the holidays. It looks like the winter storm is going to clear up and the snow might even melt soon. It really does feel like a new year and I'm excited to find out what it has in store for me. I don't have school again until May, so it'll be interesting to see what I do with my time.

I think this is good enough for now.

Moving Like the Wind

Someone once told me that every person has a red sting of fate. This string of fate starts at the heart and leads to the heart of the person they are fated to be with. I wonder where my red string of fate leads sometimes. I think I have figured it out, but life is so unpredictable that I have no idea what kind of road it is going to throw me onto sometimes. I have a feeling that someday soon my life is going to find itself on another crazy road, but I know I can make it just fine. I have always been a strong person even if it took me a while to figure this out. I have always thought of myself as a phoenix. I am always reborn from the ashes of defeat no matter what. Every time I rise from those mystical silver ashes I become stronger and stronger. I want to spread my wings with someone else someday. I believe everyone has a soul mate, it’s just some of us don’t know where to look sometimes.

My attachment to the sky has gotten even stronger as of late. This is probably because Ronnie loves the sky as much as I do. No matter where we might be, no matter how far, the same sky connects us. No one can take this sole fact away from us. He is the moon in the sky and I am the sea. When he is happy I am happy, and when he is sad I always feel like I have to do something in order to fix it. If I had the power I would do so much more for him than I have. If I knew how to live on my own I probably would have moved closer to where he is already. Apart from my family I don’t really have any strong attachment to very many people over here. I know someday I will get the chance to spread my wings, and when that day comes he will be the first person I fly to. I want the question answered, and I want to know if he is the one for sure. I hope fate will allow our strings of fate to cross someday. Knowing that he has been a lot happier lately has really made me feel a lot lighter. I hope he can hold onto his new found happiness and find the right path for himself.

I feel like I have been a lot more balanced today, both in body and in mind. I noticed it when I went to my yoga class at school for the last time today. We had a two hour class where we went through all the poses in the primary series. We did all the standing poses, the seating poses, and the closing sequence. It took us about an hour and 45 minutes to do everything. When I first came to the class at the beginning of the semester I couldn’t even touch my toes, but now I can put my hands underneath my feet now. I have gotten more fluid and focused and I have mastered the breath we use. I am nowhere near being perfect at the poses in the primary series, but I have improved a lot this semester. It was nice to be able to go through all the poses. We have never got all the way through because the class has always been too short. Usually the class is only an hour, so we have only gotten to do so much every day. I came out of class today feeling very relaxed and energetic. I am going to miss my class, but my teacher teaches at a studio somewhere near here, so I am probably going to get a membership at the studio he teaches at some time soon.

My morning was normal, I just hung out and did my usual, got dressed for yoga, listened to music, read a little, watched some anime. I had 3 tangerines for breakfast. You aren’t supposed to eat very much, if at all before yoga usually. I get carsick on a completely empty stomach though, so I had to eat at least that much. I have an incurable addiction to tangerines. I went an hour early to school and just walked around campus before yoga. I didn’t want to get thirsty during class, so I walked to the school store and bought a Sobe Lifewater. I walked to my yoga class right after this. I always like to be early for yoga so I can get a good spot. I put everything I brought except for my jacket and my purse outside the door of the classroom, grabbed a mat and went in. I carefully wiped off my mat with a Clorox wipe, wrapped my purse in my jacket, and then did some stretches and waited for class to start.

After class I was starving, so I decided to go out to eat. There is this place called “Rocking Robbie’s” on campus that I have taken a liking to. Today was only the second time I have gotten food there. I can’t believe what I have been missing by not eating there. Last time I went there last Friday it was the first time I went there. I had no idea what to expect, but the food sounded good. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich combo with a strawberry shake last time, and this time I ordered the crispy chicken combo but I didn’t get a shake this time.

They always take a few minutes to prepare your food and it always looks and tastes good. Their shakes are made fresh and have big slices of fruit in them, and they always taste great. I have been to a lot of fast food places, but this one is probably the best one I’ve been to so far. I am not very big on fast food, so this is really saying a lot.

Anyway, today was much like yesterday. My parents had another tabernacle choir rehearsal and I just chilled at home and watched anime and made the best of my time. I am going to have to pick up my book again later sometime, it is getting interesting. In high school I was pretty famous for always carrying a book with me. I love to read a lot, and I think I haven’t been reading nearly as much as I should lately. I have a nice long list of books that I need to read and I intend to finish it off.

I went upstairs today and my sister was watching Star Trek again, it is a pretty common thing here for me to go upstairs and find it on all the time. I grew up watching Star Trek, I am also a big fan of it. I have to admit I still need to watch the original one. I miss the days when Star Trek was on, it was always such a big thing for my family. We never seem to get bored of Star Trek.

I know one of these days I’m going to need to do something other than just sitting around and watching anime and reading, but for now it’s nice.

The Sandman

I can’t believe it’s the last week of school already. My time has always flown by too fast. I think father time must be getting impatient. That or he knows my life is complicated so he tries to speed it up so I don’t get frustrated. I know if father time was real, we would get along just fine. I wonder how he and the sand man would get along, funny thought. In a way you could call God father time I guess. I believe in God, so I guess he can play the part better than anyone else could.

I’ve always pictured fictional characters inside my head, it’s a regular thing for me. If the sandman really existed I think he would live in some mysterious candle lit castle in the clouds. The castle would be made of dark glittering stone, and the towers would reach high and greet the stars. It would be on a hovering stand-alone island. The castle would be surrounded by trees and beautiful gardens and he would have his own servants and maids that took care of everything. The grounds would also have various statues in the form of different mythical and historical figures, and they would all be made of white marble. There would be a large mysterious room somewhere in the castle with lots of containers, pots, and other stuff you would find in a laboratory and a kitchen where he would make his mysterious sleeping sand. He would be quiet, but kind and calm and very mysterious like the whispering breeze.

My day has been pretty calm. As my radio alarm clock went off and I started coming back from the land of the dreamers Ronnie was the first thing I thought about before I opened my eyes. I’ve had other people that have had my waking thoughts throughout my life, but none of them ever gave me the amount of comfort that he does. He takes up so much of my heart now it’s terrifying, but yet exciting. Even if fate decides to be cruel and separate us for real I will probably love him for the rest of my life and will definitely never forget him. It’s strange, even though we have decided to not be in a serious relationship right now, just the fact that he cared enough to let go makes me love him even more. The fact that he was able to end it just proves how much he really cares about me and that gives me the best feeling In the world. I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone that has ever cared about me like this before. Its amazing how much you can care about someone who is so far away from you. Just another piece of evidence that proves time and space have no effect on love if you want it to stay the way it is.

It’s been a long time since I have been able to put so much thought into one person like this. My thoughts were so lonely, as was my heart for the longest time. I am so glad I have found someone I can talk to about anything and feel close to. We understand each other so well it’s scary sometimes. I don’t regret even a second I have spent talking to him. He has earned a special place in my heart that no one is ever going to usurp. Thinking about him in the morning gives me a strange satisfaction and makes my day worth living so much more. Every day when I walk through the halls of the University, or go outside, or do anything I have a wish in the center of my heart that our paths will cross and our fates will inter twine someday. I will never deprive my heart of this hope, I will let it burn like a raging fire.

I feel lighter, everything about my life feels lighter now that I have him. We don’t need to be in a relationship to make me feel this way. I am like a breeze that silently moves from place to place. I feel free, natural, open and happy. Everything comes so naturally to me when we talk. I am pretty sure he feels the same way.

As I got out of bed and turned off my alarm clock everything went silent. I turned on my light and walked back over to my laptop that sits on its table beside my bed on the floor. I slowly opened it up and went through my usual morning business where I listen to music, and print off stuff for school if I need to. Today I listened to some music by Nana Mizuki and printed off my final essay for my Astronomy class. I didn’t have as much time to listen to music or do whatever then I usually do. English started an hour earlier, so I only had an hour of free time before I had to leave.

I walked upstairs slowly, my head still drowning in my waking thoughts and was greeted be the sight of a fluffy thin layer of white show on the ground outside. I like to think of snow as clouds that get bored, so they decide to fall from the sky and say hello and just repeat the cycle of falling from and returning to the sky. It’s a silly thought, but I have fun with it. I had Coco Krispies for breakfast and just sat there at the table gazing out at the snow while eating them.

I went back downstairs and made sure all my English assignments were in the folder I put them in so I could turn them in today. I found my jeans, and my black T-shirt with the faded Micky Mouse design on it and got dressed. I decided I wanted to leave my hair down today, but I didn’t want it to get stringy before I went to school so I kept it back in a headband until right before I left.

I got my stuff together and unplugged my phone from it’s charger. I had got the battery all the way down to 6% the night before. Sometimes I just don’t feel like sleeping, so I just stay up watching stuff on Netflix. I put my black boots on and pulled the bottom of my jeans over them and walked out to the car. We decided to take our new car today. It was freezing outside, I had my black jacket with the peacock design on and I wore my soft white fleece hat to keep my hair from getting wet. We got in the car, put our seat belts on and tried to start the car, but it wouldn’t start. We gave up after a few tries and decided to take the other car because I was going to be late if we didn’t. It was just lightly snowing the whole time we were driving. It took us about 20 minutes to get to the University campus, but for some reason today it felt much longer than that. I felt anxious and kind of impatient today for some reason and was glad to get out of the car when we got there. I quickly ran into the school and walked to class.

When I got to the classroom my teacher wasn’t there, but everyone else was. I was a little late, but it didn’t really matter because we weren’t really doing anything today anyway. We all just sat there and did our own thing waiting for the professor to come, but the clock just kept ticking by and she never showed up. A Japanese woman finally walked into the room after about 30 minutes and told us that she could not be here today for personal reasons. We all turned in our English portfolios to her instead and just started doing our own thing. We were supposed to be having a party today, so we brought food. We just hung out for the class period, talked and ate food.

People brought chips, soda, chocolates, popcorn, cookies, cake, salsa and some other stuff. We all had a good time just hanging out talking about random stuff and about our assignments that we had. We took photos before some of us started to leave. The class today was two hours long instead of one. I didn’t talk very much. I just listened to other people talk and ate. I said goodbye to everyone before I left, I only stayed half of the class period.

I walked along the hallways thinking about the snow and wondering what the weather was like where Ronnie lives. I always go into this weird dazed like state between classes where I just walk and think and don’t pay attention to the surroundings around me more than I need to. I am a daydreamer and sometimes I majorly zone out, it’s so like me to do that.

I walked to the school book store and bought the hourglass series by Lisa Mangum. I have wanted to read her series for a long time. There are three books, they are called The Hourglass Door, The Golden Spiral, and the Forgotten Locket. It cost me around $25 to buy all 3 at the same time. After I got done at the book store I walked to my Astronomy class, took out the first book, and began reading it in the hallway. I was 45 minutes early, so this is how I passed my time. I just read a few pages in, very carefully so I got the main feeling of the book. I have a feeling I am really going to enjoy this series a lot.

I thought my Astronomy final was today for some reason. I figured out that I was wrong when I saw a completely different class was going into the planetarium after I went in. I just sat there and tried to figure out when my final was, I was feeling confused right about then. I very quietly went up to the professor that was in the room and asked him where I should go to find out what day my final was on. I found out it’s not until Wednesday. I felt very relieved that I did not miss it.

I decided I was not ready to leave quite yet, so I just walked around campus and watched all the people as they walked by. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get something or fun even though I ate in English. After walking around for a while I decided that it would be a waste of money for me to eat on campus today. I saw a vending machine nearby though, and I decided that I could spend a dollar on a drink. I usually do not drink soda that often, but I figured I could make an exception today. I opened my cherry 7up and walked to the library. I am really glad I don’t have to stress about papers and other assignments for a while now. I sat down at my usual spot at the 1st floor of the library, plugged my ear buds into my iPhone and started watching some documentary about Star Trek fans that caught my eye on my phone. It’s nice to have something I can pass the time with while I wait for my mom or sister to come and get me.

I gazed out at the snow through the big windows in the library and just watched as the little flakes landed on the ground. I decided after a few minutes of watching the Star Trek documentary that I would wait until later to watch it. I just sat there and let myself fall deep into my daydreams while I was waiting.

My mom got to the school 30 minutes after I called her. I am not particularly picky about what time I am picked up. I got in the car and we drove home. The windshield wipers on our new car made a loud squeaking noise every time they slid across the glass, it got kind of annoying after a while. We didn’t really talk about anything while we were driving home, this is usually normal for us when we are in the car. I slightly dozed off and let myself drift between the waking world and the dream world. I felt so light, but yet heavy in a strange sort of way in that moment.

When we got home I kicked off my boots, and went downstairs back to my sanctuary. I watched anime and just hung out in my room for most of the rest of the day. I was feeling kind of moody today in the afternoon after I got home, not in a bad way though. I think I might have just been a little over stimulated. I get that way when I am around a lot of people sometimes. My mind just starts to race and my emotions come alive and they try to fly around everywhere, but I can usually keep them in control. I usually watch something dramatic, or listen to quiet music depending on how I feel. Today I watched an anime called “Nana”. Nana is one of my favorite anime of all time. It’s cute, dramatic, romantic, and it makes your head spin sometimes. It’s about music, love, life, it’s just plane amazing. I hope they continue the series where they left off someday, I won’t hold my breath though.

I was so glad I did not have anything else to do today that I did the thing I usually do when I don’t want to do anything, but don’t want to just sit in silence and stare at the wall or the ceiling. I like to just put on music and look at pictures of things or people I like, it’s very relaxing and it frees my mind a lot. I actually do this quite often when I am feeling stressed, and In the mornings when I need to recharge my inner battery. I look at different pictures, and listen to different music depending on what kind of mood I am in.

I crashed for a few hours after school, and slept like the dead. I had started watching the Star Trek documentary again, but started to fall asleep, so I turned it off again and ended up surrendering to the dream world once again.

My mom made minestrone for dinner tonight, she makes really super great minestrone, it really is the best soup ever. I say that about everything she cooks though honestly, it’s all amazing. Haha. It was really nice to wake up to her cooking after a nap. I was pretty hungry, I hadn’t eaten for probably 5 or so hours.

My sister and my nieces put the ornaments on the Christmas tree sometime after my parents left for tabernacle choir practice. I was busy doing my own thing in my own world, I didn’t pay all that much attention to them. I looked at the tree once or twice when they were doing it, but I was so glad to be finally over with all my school work for this semester that I just wanted to relax and keep to myself today.

I grabbed a couple handfuls of pistachios out of the bag on the counter and brought them downstairs with me one of the times I went upstairs to look at the tree. My family is pretty addicted to those things, we all love to eat them. It’s pretty insane how fast we go through them sometimes. I guess you could say we are all a bunch of nut heads. Haha.

Nothing other than this happened that is worth noting, not that I remember anyway. I stalked Ronnie’s profile on facebook for a few minutes earlier when I got bored, he always posts interesting stuff. I don’t think I’ve shared anything that interesting lately on mine, mainly due to school. I should get around to it sometime soon though. It’s usually so normal for me.

Snow Finally Came

So tonight we celebrated my dad's birthday. We just went out to eat at this place called CHUKARAMA. Not so sure if I am spelling that right. It's a buffet, and the food is usually very good. Tonight was one of the busier nights, the place was packed. We got out seats at a six person table and I went over to the slushy machine and got a green apple slushie and put it down on the table to mark my terriroty. The food was great I had salad and all kinds of stuff like chicken, potatoes, peas, rolls, scones, chicken soup, etc. I usually don't eat that much, but tonight I just went for it. For dessert i had strawberry frozen yogurt, strawberry shortcake, and cherry crisp. I have never had cherry crisp before and I love cherries, it was probably my favorite thing I had there.

Before we left it had been lightly snowing. I have been waiting for it to snow for weeks now. The snow just didn't seem to want to come which is pretty weird for Utah, because it usually snows a lot here. I was glad to see it was snowing pretty hard when we were done eating, and the snow was sticking.  Snow is the only thing I like about winter.

We were going to go to a movie but we changed our mind and just went home. I think all of us were pretty worn out from the events of today and yesterday. All of us have been cleaning and moving stuff back into the house, and it has been very busy.  When I got home I just watched a movie "Howl's Moving Castle". I surfed the internet and stuff for a few hours. Going to bed soon.

Nothing much besides this happened today. i visited my friends on Destiny Online today, but only for a few minutes. I didn't feel like being online there today. We finished moving the stuff into the house and set up the TV and stuff downstairs. It's nice to have everything back in order for the first time in months.  I cleaned my room and organized a whole lot today as well.

Anyway I guess this is all for now. I can't think of anything else to write for now.

Church Activity Fail

So here in Utah we have a place called Soldier Hollow. it's basicly a place they made for the olympics, I think it was for skiing or something like that originally. They made it into a snow tubing place though. Basicly they provide you with tubes, and they tow you up this really big hill and then you walk a little ways and go down the big hill on your tube it's super fun really.

The only downside to this is when it snows the new snow makes it slow. They have to make the hill icy and smooth before people can successfully go down it at the best speed.

My church had and activity, we went to Soldier Hollow yesterday for fun. I wore my best coat, and had my jeans on and my gloves and boots. I thought it would be enough but as I found out later it wasn't. We were not expecting it to snow more when we got there. it was snowing like crazy when we got there, and we knew that it would probably cause problems on the hill so far as speed goes.  We decided to just go for it though and try it anyway.

I grabbed my tube and headed towards the place where they have you sit in it and tow you up. On my way up I had to pop the collar of my coat up and button it up tighter to protect my neck from getting assaulted by snow. The higher up we got the fiercer the wind was. When we got to the top of the hill the wind was crazy and on top of that it was snowing a lot it was like a blizzard. The gloves I had brought weren't good enough, my fingers were freezing. I wore the wrong pants on top of that. i was not prepared for the large amount of snow and wind that was hitting me. My jeans got wet from the snow and wouldn't stay up. I kept on having to pull them up over and over and my legs were freezing.  I should have worn different pants.

I found part of the hill to go down it was crazy though the wind was cold and the snow was blowing right in my face. When I went down the hill it was even worse, I was going pretty fast part of the way down and that only made it colder.  I only got half way down the hill, the new snow made it a lot slower than it usually is. The rest of my friends came down in a group after me. They were going a bit faster than I was since I went alone. i just sat there until they caught up and they pushed me part of the way down it was pretty fun. We still had to walk down the hill part of the way though. Because of the new snow it made it so we couldn't go fast enough.

I was pretty cold by the time I got all the way down the hill and deduced that it was probably better for me to head to the cabin and have some hot chocolate. I waited for one of my church leaders to catch up and she led me there since not only could I not see because of all the snow blowing in my eyes, but my face was drenched and I didn't know where the cabin was.

It felt so great to get inside. My pants were soaked and heavy, my hat was covered in ice, my fingers were freezing even with gloves on, my face was drenched in water from the snow, and my feet were dry but cold. It was utterly crazy.  One of the people there helped me wipe off my coat, and dry off with a towel, she helped me get the ice off my hat as well.

I was so relieved to get inside, I got some hot chocolate and had donuts and popcorn as well. I just spent the rest of the time there by the fire or talking with fellow church members, it was still pretty fun even though most of us couldn't get down the hill successfully like we wanted to. We ended up having fun despite not being able to snow tube. The cabin got pretty lively, some people stayed outside anyway though and just tried again.  i did not bring my phone, I wish i had though it would have been a really interesting thing to take pictures of.

After that I just went home and got some dry clothes on and watched anime and talked with friends for the rest of the night.

More Snow and the Fun Begins!

Okay so my sister and my nephew aren't here yet but once they are here and we all come together things are bound to get pretty interesting over the next few days. They should be here in a few hours!

I've just been doing the usual today for the most part. I could not sleep last night because I just want to meet my nephew so bad.  I did fall asleep on the couch earlier today though and got a few more hours of sleep.  The cat decided to take a nap with me, that was cute.  She curled up on my chest. I had a pillow covering my legs so she couldn't shed on my black pants again. She managed to do it anyway while i was sleeping though when I changed positions haha.

The snow is so pretty today. It snowed a lot more yesterday night.  I was up until 4am, my brother and his friends were playing DOTA until about 3am or so. I had to wind down so I just decided to sacrifice one more hour of sleep so i could listen to some music so I could relax. I make it a point never to try to sleep when they are playing down here because it's really impossible. They are to noisy for me to even try.

A while after my last post yesterday, after my brother's friend got on the computer I am using right now, I spilled a bag of Cheetoes on the floor on accident. It was really sad, we saved most of the cheetoes, but I still felt bad because the bag was practically full all the way. It was a pretty new bag and I just happened to set it in the wrong position on the table and it fell ha ha.  I took a picture and put it on my twitter last night as well.

I've been thinking of this for a while now, it would be nice it Xanga had a mobile site. I love Xanga a lot and would like to blog on the go. That would be so cool if they made a mobile version, seeing as I don't like any of the other blogging sites out there except for maybe Tumblr, but even Tumblr can't compare to Xanga at all.

I don't remember if I mentioned this in my last post or not, but one of our neighbors brought over this box with a whole bunch of food in it. Amung the things was that bag of cheetoes I spilled yesterday night ha ha. There was also some cashews, some kind of chocolate snack bars, soup, and some other stuff. I always expect things to appear like this around christmas. We usually get something like this around Christmas or Thanksgiving.  I was hoping they would send us candycane cocoa again though. laughing

Anyway, if i think up anything more to say I will edit this and update it. :)

Oh yeah, one more thing...

December Snow and Birthdays!

So today was Darik and Dylan's birthday. I have no clue what they did today other than the christmas party that Darik mentioned to me yesterday. Speaking of Darik... he got his phone stolen by some prick at the gym. Neither of us are happy about that for sure.  I sent them both a birthday text early this morning, before Darik got his phone stolen.

Anyway, I woke up to snow (and not rain like yesterday). I was really happy about this. I woke up fairly early today. Sometime I just don't feel like sleeping in. It's nice to wake up early every once in a while.  My day started out the same as always. if you have read my posts you already probably have it memorized by now. The beginning of my day is never complete without music, facebook, and anime. I know that sounds incredibly nerdy. ha ha.  It is what I love though, so I guess there is nothing wrong with that.

I spent most of my time on facebook at first, but then went to the store a few hours later with my dad. We went to best buy and Costco and bought presents for my mom.  After that we went to subway and I got a foot long sub, and a cookie it was great.  It has been lightly snowing all day, I love it. I love how when the snow melts on my coat it looks like sparkles, it's so cool.  I have a black wool coat.

Anyway, after that I went home, and logged into Destiny Online. I haven't played for a couple of weeks now since my computer is being fixed.  I really felt like logging on so I just downloaded it on this computer (which is one of my dad's). I've been spending most of my day on there all day just catching up with my friends and stuff.

Other than that I took a short nap in the early afternoon.  Yeah, my day was at least moderately interesting at least...  I'm really hoping Darik get's his phone back soon, or get's a new one.

Oh, and one more thing. I got a message from Sam today. He is going to be here until the end of the month. I'm so happy about that. I' going to call him of course without a doubt.  I will have to tell you more about sam some other time. I don't think I have mentioned him as much as I have mentioned  Darik and Dylan. Even though he is the person I like.

Dryer Sheets and Fans

My room was starting to smell weird for some reason, probably because of the clothes on the floor, or because I always keep the door shut. I thought up something funny about 2 days ago. I have this fan I keep running a lot in my room now, I went into the laundry room and grabbed a dryer sheet out of the cupboard in there and stuck it on the back of my fan. The problem solved in less than 30 seconds, in fact my room still smells good. :)

I don’t really remember writing about this before  but, I’ve had this thing for Mulan lately. I always feel like watching it. I find it sort of amusing, not to long ago it was Lion King. I love the first and the second one. I don’t know what it is that gets me stuck randomly on movies like that it’s mysterious.

I’ve been thinking about how much I’ve been wining to myself lately about the state of my life. I know the truth is it’s my fault I got here, not anyone else’s I really wish I had tried a bit harder when I was in school, and learned how to transport myself a little better. I know I could have done that but I was so lazy back then. I still have a lack of motivation I need to get rid of but it’s not as bad as it was years back. I am now 21 and I know I need to just face my fears somehow and go out into the world.

Weird night for me last night again. I fell asleep again around 11. This is usually rare for me, but it’s the second night in a row. I guess I’m starting to get tired of my rebellious need to go to bed late that I have carried with me ever since high school. I woke up around 2 and couldn’t sleep though for about 3 hours. I guess my body needs to adjust to the new sleeping time. I got more sleep though.

I’ve said I hate cold weather in the past and that I have been dreading fall coming. That is true, but there is one thing I love about cold weather that makes it worth while around here. I love snow a lot, I hope it snows a lot again this fall and winter. It’s the only thing I look forward to when it gets cold. I get sort of gloomy in the winter without it.

I’ve been watching an anime called “Fairy Tail” lately.  I have fallen in love with it I think it’s amazing. The art style is sort of like “One Piece”, which is my favorite anime of all time. I find the story very enjoyable and the characters fun to watch. I have been an anime fan for almost 5 years now knowingly. Before that I watched anime without even knowing it. I guess I have been a fan my whole life if you want to get technical.  I started to get serious about it around the middle of 2006 though. I started watching Card Captor Sakura or Cardcaptors as it’s called around here again. I hadn’t seen it in years, and I found it online along with a few others I had heard about from my best friend at the time. It just sort of branched off into manga and cosplay love after that.

Anyway, I don’t want to exhaust all my words and run out of things to say for later so I’ll just stop here for now. :)

Snow tubing

So I went tubing today down bug snowy hills it was awesome!

There is this place called 'Soldier hollow and they let you pick out a tube that you like and then you walk a short distance to this guy who attaches you to a rope. It takes you up this big hill, takes about 4 minutes to get up. Then its only a short walking distance to the hill. Its a pretty big hill. Takes about 30 seconds to get down.

I did it a lot of times, you can go as many times as you want its awesome. I went with a bunch of people from my church. We brought hot chocolate and doughnuts too. It was a lot of fun.

So yeah that's what I basically did today.

It snowed a lot yesterday night so it was perfect.

Snowey Memories

So it is winter here in Utah, and snow it sort of a thing to be expected. Especially when you live near a bunch of mountains like me.

The last two years have been crazy so far as snow goes. The first year we had major snow was 2 years ago. It snowed heavily one day and it just kept on snowing for 3 months. Every time the snow looked like it was going to let up and melt it snowed again. On top of that it was freezing so the melting snow turned to ice, and to crunchy snow and it got o people's nerves a ton.

I didn't really do much out in the snow 2 years ago that I remember. Except for that day when I decided I would try and shovel the snow. That was a complete and utter failure though because the snow was very heavy and packed by that time. All the other neighbors abandoned shoveling their driveways after a  few days because it just kept on coming back even worse. I was out there for 3 or more hours and I didn't even get half of the driveway or even a quarter for that matter done.  I'm pretty sure that was 2 years ago, maybe that was last year, I don't remember.  ha ha.

EDIT:Oh, I was looking through my past blog posts and I did a litle entry about it. It was 2 years ago.

((That post is also on this blog as well... i'll edit this later))

Last year however was different. There was one significant day I remember. It was near Christmas, probably close or after new years most likely. It had been snowing fora  couple of weeks. I think the snow started 2 weeks before Christmas last year. My sister came home from California to spend the holidays with us. We all decided that we would put the snow to some use and build something with it.

We started out trying to build snowmen. I was taking pictures for the first part of this but I decided to join in and help after a while. I managed to roll a big ball along with my sister, it got really heavy. We came to the dilemma of how to get them up on top of each other. That was quite a  funny dilemma indeed. We tried lifting it up with the help of 3 people but that didn't work and then we tried rolling them on top of each other but that didn't work. I think what we ended up doing is building a snow ramp and rolling it onto it that way. I can't remember exactly.

For our other 2 snow men we did a rather easier approach to it. We built the 2nd and 3rd balls right on the bottom part of the snow men so we wouldn't have to go through what we went through with the first one.

It was dark by the time we finished our snow men. I think I was the one that put all the finishing touches on them. It was a beautiful evening, cold yes, but beautiful none the same.  And it started snowing again right when I was finished. I even got pictures but I'll put them up later.

We had the neighbor kids over to when we did this and we made snow chairs and had snowball fights as well it was so much fun. That was a great year for snow.

This year I didn't do anything special like that, but it did snow a lot. Not as much as last year or the year before but still a lot. I think its actually on the verge of melting.

Oh, but this one weekend I did step in a big pile of slush and froze my feet that as really cold. I didn't realize how deep that was. I laughed it off though. It was quite funny.

Winter Dance

As winter sneaks upon me
its winds just blowing softly
cradling me forever in its embrace
the stars are up above me
I can hear the song of the wind
singing me its sweet lullaby

Forever never ends
time never bends or stops
winter dances for me
turning turning, passing, coming
sweet embrace, a wondrous dream
things are not as they seem they've changed

Let down your snow
cry for me and I will comfort you
your not alone, your not alone
dance for me and be free
no one loves you like i do
you're shunned but not by me.

eternity calls us, my sweet winter
this is our eternity just you and me
I can see you dancing there
twirling, turning, ever so graceful
I will embrace you so you're not alone
if you ask you can have all of me

Snow and Ice

so yesterday was pretty fun! My sister, my 2 nieces and a few of our neighbors played out in the snow. There was a LOT of snow outside yesterday.

Our first snow man failed and end up as a snow throne. I'm pretty good at making sow men but I wasn't helping because I was busy taking pictures. I finally put down my camera after a while and started rolling the bottom of what would become my snow man. My sister and a neighbor started rolling theirs as well. My sisters was supposed to be the second part of my snow man but it got to big so we just decided to make it into a second snow man. My brother had come out by then and started rolling his to help us make our snow men. The neighbor boy that was rolling his accidentally made another one that was too big so then we had 3 snow man but then my brother also did one that was too big so then we has FOUR SNOW MEN! My brother managed to get one of the big balls up on top of the other one so then we had 3 snow men again. after that things became pretty easy and we made the bodies and everything used tree branches from my birch tree as arms. I didn't feel like rolling another ball at this pint so I just packed snow on top of the second ball and made a head that way I think the others did the same.

We were all pretty wet and cold when we finished. The others used leaves for eyes and mouths and carrots of course for noses. I pocked holes for eyes and stuff leaves inside the holes to make them dark I used a little bent tree twig for a mouth on mine. mine was the only one that was smiling.

It was pretty bun but SO cold and wet. My pants kept on wanting to fall down from the weight. it was pretty funny to say the least.

I'll put some pictures up later for you to see.

So I went Outside to Shovel the Snow...

MY HANDS HURT SO FREAKING BAD NOW!! Its hard to move them.

Just to put in perspective of how much snow is in my front yard...

it took me a hour and a half just to shovel the side walk in front of my house which is like only 40 or 50 feet long from my mailbox to my neighbors mailbox. Sounds like a lot but its not. I never even got to the driveway because I was suffering by then.

the show was above my ankles.

It took me 20 minutes to do the 20 to 25 foot stretch of side walk in front of my porch that leads to my driveway. My hands were cramping and hurting but I pushed on and on until I finally gave up after an hour and a half like I said before.

I'm having a really hard time typing. *laugh*

the sow was pretty and it was fun but hard and tiring. So much white my eyes couldn't believe it. And the sidewalks and roads under the snow were icy and slick.

Anyway that's all I think I should say since my hands are virtually unresponsive right now ha ha.
