Feeling Blue at Work
For some reason I've been feeling a little blue lately at work. Sometimes I feel like I don't fit in. On the bright side though, Linda came to see me at work today when she was shopping! Anyway, I did a vlog.

Lights and Color
Tonight was the annual Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. This years guests were Martin Jarvis as the narrator, Laura Osnes as the main singer and then there were also 4 singers from the Metropolotan Opera.
We drove up to Salt Lake City mid afternoon and I remembered to bring "The Seeress of Kell" with me to read while we were driving. I read the whole entire time. That is me in the back of the photo reading the book.
When we got to our parking spot in an out door parking lot we decided to go and get something to eat before the concert. We looked around for a while, it was hard to find a good place to eat because everything eas so crowded because of the concert. After looking at all the main places in the City Creek Center food court we decided to go look at the places to eat outside of the food court. We were probably close to giving up when e came upon a Farr's Ice Cream place that wasn't busy at all by a lucky chance. There was a hot dog place inside as well and so we all got hot dogs and Polish dogs. I got a chilli cheese polish dog and it was fantastic (but messy). We ate our food while we were walking towards the conference center and made sure to bring lots of napkins. We finished our food and then we got in line.
We were on the right side of the plaza and got really great seats.
The concert was magical to say the least. I loved a lot about it, but my favorite part was Martin's telling of the story of Handel's Messiah. The choir sang part of it while the long story was told. I got so many great chills. The opera singers and Laura were really amazing as well. There was different lighting this year, it was more from the cealing than from the back behind the organ. There was lighting behind the organ of course but that wasn't the focus so far as the lighting went. There was a lot of cool lighting like blue, green, purple and white. There was also the white fog stuff that people use sometimes and it made it so you could see the light streaming down like mist. The effect was so awesome. At the end of the concert we all got to hear them do an encore of the Hallelujah chorus and we sang along.
After this we took some pictures in front of the conference center, went to eat at Chick Fil A right before the food court closed, walked back to our car and then we drove home. It was a great day today. I will just leave it at this.

Two Down One to Go
Today it snowed morea nd I turned in my philosophy paper. I just headed back to the mall where mom and Laura picked me up and we went to Costco. Mom just got a few basic things and I went around the store getting samples. Sorry if this seems rushed tonight, I am just busy studying for my Music Final tomorrow. Naturally I will be going out for ice cream, I do that every time I have a test. I am a little nervous for tomorrow, but I think everything will be alright in the end. I am also going to be giving my part in my groups group presentation. I am pretty sure I am more than prepared for that.
Hope everyone isn't going insane from the finals.

Gone Caroling
Today I went to school just in case even though my class schedule said I didn't have music today. I prefer to be safe than sorry in cases of final week. I ended up leaving and going to the mall afterward where I went to R.C Willey and got 3 cookies for $1.25. I love the cookies and the other stuff there, it's straight forward and often is the quick and cheap fix for my lunch.
I listened to more of my Anne of Avonlea audio book and also continued reading "Demon Lord of Karanda" and "The Alchemist". I'm waiting to finish "The Alchemist" until after my last final on Wednesday.
I'm so nervous for my Music final on Wednesday, I know it is going to be hard.
My ward and I went out Christmas caroling tonight and then we went to someone's house for donuts and hot chocolate. There were 3 or 4 houses that had no one there, but we pressed on. We were out for a good 45 minutes and I was glad that I dressed warm tonight. It was snow covered and the hot chocolate and donuts were a welcome thing.
When we were at the neighbors house there was a large display of a mini village and trains. I got to listen to James telling us about narcolepsy stories, and they were hilarious. I'd love to hear more of those some day.
Anyway, after I got home mom had made soup, and it was a welcome thing. I am going to be studying a lot tonight and tomorrow. I will be glad when school is over.

Margarine
Today was a gloomy and cold day just like yesterday. Sorry if some of you are looking at this post on the day or day after it was published, you probably noticed I got lazy again the past month and have to go filling in posts again. I hate it when I do that. We talked more about divorce today in Family studies. I spent the whole time coloring, the time just flew by. I love bringing my computer to school sometimes, but today was just not one of those days. I really love just coloring and doodling sometimes as well as you know. Sometimes I use my computer at the same time I am doodling, but not often.
Philosophy was a blur today, I spent the whole time playing Glow Puzzle on my phone and I DID pay attention, but it just sometimes happens just like in church. I have to leave class 15 minutes early because of work, but only on Tuesdays. After I rode the bus to the mall I decided that I would rather not have a pretzel today like usual, I had some deep dish pizza from Villa Kitchen I think it's called. After I ate it was time to go to work. Jan had me do some stainless steel polishing, I polished all the freezers, then I cleaned part of the floor under the place where I roll the dough. I cleaned the bathroom and then I Helped Bentley with making cinnamon sticks. I also rolled and made some of the classic cinnamon rolls before I left. I grabbed some Oreo Cream Ice cream with crushed oreos in it. The guys at Cold Stone taught me how to make it.
Work was fun today, I love cleaning and I am glad I got to lear how to coat the cinnasticks with butter, coat them with cinnamon and sugar and then twist them. I did learn something about the butter we use though. Turns out it isn't real butter at all, it is margarine. Mom has always told me how unhealthy margarine is so I think I won't eat anything at Cinnabon that has it in it. Sadly that includes most of the things we make. I am just too health conscious to go back on that. I know better than to ignore mom when she says something is really really unhealthy. I still love the place of course, and I love seeing the people when they buy our stuff. I really get along with everyone really well, though I don't talk much.
After work I went home and mom made some more pork chops that we forgot to cook a few days ago. Pork chops with pineapple are so great. I ate them with peas and carrots. While I was waiting for them to cook I worked more on the box that I started making at FHE yesterday, I'm still not finished though. I think I still have to get more paper, one sheet wasn't enough to bring home. Anyway, that is all for today, it was an awesome day and I have been in a pretty great mood all day. I'll take pictures of the box when I finish it.

Rainbow Sock Monkey
Today was awesome. I wasn't sure what I wanted to be today, but I thought about being a rainbow fairy. Mom took me to Savers and I found all the stuff, but I found this other really cute costume, a rainbow sock monkey. At first I didn't really feel like I was into it, but once I looked at it more I decided that it would be really fun! The costume cost me $40 dollars, but it was so worth it!
I can always be a rainbow fairy next year, this was way more fun. What really made it worth it was getting to go to work wearing it. I handed out samples for 2 and a half hours and then did some dishes. Work was really fun, I actually left early for the mall today, mom took me. I wanted to show off my costume so I just walked around the mall for an hour before work. There were so many different costumes, and some people didn't wear costumes, but were still given samples. I was exhausted from all the over stimulation of my senses.
I had fun at work, but it was nice being able to get home. I just wanted to get a rest from all those people that walked by. I know I get exhausted from being around a lot of people because I'm an introvert, but this definitely tested my limits. Anyway when I got home Laura was making caramel apples and each of us got to have one. I did my tradition of watching "The Nightmare Before Christmas" yesterday night, so I didn't watch it tonight. I am so sick of sugar and I know I'm going to feel bad tomorrow. I'm going to probably go sugar free for a couple of days. Oh, and I also brought some pecan buns from work tonight, they are awesome, but I don't think they'll go so fast. We don't eat much sugar over here of course.
the day today was so beautiful, and it wasn't too cold. The leaves are starting to officially fall, and they are beautiful! I couldn't have asked for a better day than this.

I GOT THE JOB!
sugar coookies and pictionairy with chalk at fhe
coming home pork chops with potatoes, eating cookies
Today was amazing to say the least. I nearly missed the bus to school, but made it.I guess you can say that today was a lazy day for me. I really should stop staying up late haha.
Today in music we reached chapter 17 and actually went on a field trip to another music classroom. This classroom was actually the one that I took choir in a few years back. Dr. Smith played the piano and sang various songs from chapter 17. Songs by Shubert, Schuman, Verdi, and others. My favorite one was the famous song The Earlking. It was fun hearing him sing and hearing other people's opinions on the songs he sang. We got to learn more about some of the origins of the songs and composers as well.
After class I walked around school listening to music and I ended up doing pushups for a free Quest Bar. I chose the pumpkin pie one, it was okay, but not my favorite. After this I was going to go straight to the institute building and wait for class to start, but changed my mind and ended up walking around on the outside roof. Well, it's kind of like a roof and kind of not, it's weird. I just listened to more music and walked around and then I went to class. It was refreshing walking around on the upper outside level of the school.
We talked about some of the barbaric practices that were done in ancient Egypt at institute today and I took a nap in class. It was a really interesting class, though obviously I missed some of it due to my nap.
After class I went to the mall as usual, this is where I got my VERY good news today. I was walking around and decided to make a stop at Cinnabon and Cold Stone. I have been thinking that since I knew there was a chance I'd get the job at Cinnabon I should go there sometimes so that they don't forget about me. Today was the day that I found out I got the job! Jan, the manager told me not to go as I was walking out the door. She wanted to talk to me and I waited at a table. She asked me about my schedule, how much I wanted to be payed, and my working hours. I'm not absolutely sure when I'll be working, but for now I think it will be around 3pm on the weekdays.
I went to See's Candies and got some chocolate to celebrate. I got one coconut cream, lemon creme, and chocolate marshmallow apple caramel. After I went to Deseret Book and walked around, then I went home. I did some studying for tomorrow's Family Studies presentation, though I haven't had much success in finding anything so I might just telll some personal experiences instead of doing resaerch. I am no good at research right now. I also have been watching Power Rangers.
Later tonight at a ward activity I played outside Pictionairy with the people in my ward and we also decorated Sugar Cookies. We used chalk and the sidewalk for Pictionairy and we just kept the cookie decorating we did after pretty simple. We had a ton of sprinkles, but only white frosting. Some people managed to get creative despite the limitations though. It was pretty fun, I got to take some home and we also delivered some to the neighbors.
All in all today was pretty epic to say the least! I can't wait to start my job!

Out of This World
Tonight I went to a wind symphony concert at UVU, it was awesome, but short. Something someone said in music today made me think it was going to be two and a half hours, but it wasn't of course. I'll put picture of the program below so you can find the songs and listen to them for yourself. Make sure to keep in mind that this was a wind symphony concert.
I really enjoyed the concert a lot. I have always been into astronomy and space themed shows, songs, movies and other things. When I was younger I had a fascination with Saturn and Jupiter, and how everything. I am a pretty big Star Trek fan, I grew up watching it. I think the song I loved the most was "Ghost Train. I could really feel like I was close to or in an actual train. the song brought strong visuals to mind and kept me on the edge of my seat. I think the song fits it's name very well. All of the music was great, but I'll always have a special place for that one. My second Favorite was "Vulcan". Being a life long Star Trek fan I bonded pretty well with this song and I LOVED the drums. everything was just synced so well and I got a lot of images of the episodes and movies I watched and still watch. Firefly made me think of my powerful imagination and how I'm great for my creativity. "Mare Trinquillitis" made me feel relaxed, I didn't have as big of a bond with this one, but I felt the power really well. I loved the symphony in general, they were all very masterful and I could tell they knew how to express the messages of the music very well. I have never been to a wind symphony concert before, so it was a nice change of pace. I am used to listening to full orchestras and full symphonies, it was different but wonderful.

I Wish The Break Was Longer
This weekend just doesn't seem long enough. Fall break is one day shorter for me than for my nieces. I love school, but I have just been tired and it has been nice to be able to sleep in until noon again. This weekend was pretty boring, well at least after Friday that is. Friday was pretty interesting and fun and I love the new rearrangement still. Anyway, I don't feel like writing today and I don't have much to say anyway, so I'll just leave you with another Savage Chickens comic.

Switch Around
I did some major cleaning and reorganizing of my room today. I have been thinking about how I was going to change my furnature around and I finally figured it out today. My plans changed throught the day as I was working on the order of everything. I'll post a short video of what happened today before I mention more.
Sorry if any parts are sideays, I just pulled all my stuff off of snapchat at once. I wish when you did that the pictures and video that you did in landscape mode on my phone wasn't sideways. They really need to fix that particular thing.
Anyway, nothing much besides this happened today. It is super nice having a new arrangement. I haven't changed my room around for 3 years I think. I've been planning on changing it around since last year. As some of you know I love cleaning and organizing a lot so this was really fun for me. Times like this I am also glad that I lift weight, because someof the stuff I lifted and moved around was heavy. I think my tall dresser was the hardest thing to move around.
I'm just going to leave it at this. :)

Nostalgia
Today I just mostly slept and watched stuff on Netflix. I'll leave some old stuff from the 90's below. Mostly just openings to different cartoons.

Midterm & Fall Break
Well, I'm off school for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to being able to sleep in again for a few more days. Nothing really interesting happened today. I was going to go to the gym, but I am just going to take it easy for a few days instead because school is hard and I just need to take my mind of things. I'm pretty much broke anyway, so going anywhere when I can't get something to eat wouldn't be fun. Usually when I am out I like to be out for a long time unless if I'm coming back from school.
I am back on Tumblr, for like the 4th time I think. I don't think I'll be doing much with it though because there are too many people that really creep me out a lot. This blog will always be my main blog unless if I decide to do more with Wordpress at a future date sometime.
Today in school was just like Monday. We pretty much continued talking about Beethoven in Music and about some events before and after the flood in Pearl of Great Price. Sorry if I'm not detailed today, I just awnt to take it easy today. I' really glad to be getting a break finally.

Alarm Failure
I'm starting to think that I might have to use my old school alarm clock again. I sleep close to my phone so it's so easy to reach over, turn off my alarm and then go back to sleep. No matter how many alarms I have sometimes they aren't enough. My old alarm clock on the other hand is all the way across the room and I think if I put it on the right station I will wake up without fail. My strategy when it comes to my old alarm clock radio is I always put it on a station that drives me nuts. If I put my alarm on a station I like I am more likely to just stay in bed. I used to like country music a lot, but usually it does the trick because I listened to it too much. I am planning on trying this next week probably. I don't think I'll have to use it tomorrow. I am excited for fall break, I get Thursday and Friday off. I really miss being able to sleep in.
I forgot to mention earlier this week that I started using Pinterest again. I deleted all my boards before because I never felt organized enough no matter how much I tried. I love being organized, so I just quit the whole thing, now I'm back now and I think I've got the hang of it this time.
Anyway, I don't feel like writing about school today, I was late anyway because I got lazy again. I'm just going to let this be and stop typing now. I am so exhausted.
