Pie and Papers

Today was both fun and very stressful. As of now I have caught up on 3 out of 4 English assignments. The first one I had to do today was an essay on my topic for my English project. I had to find an article and tell a little about the subject. The subject I chose was the effects of exercise both physically and mentally. The other assignments I don't really want to explain, but they were all decently hard and I had to take it slow. I promised myself that I would not get pie for Pi Day today until I finished at least 3 out of 4. The 4th, just like the others is about my upcoming project. That one isn't due until about midnight, though I already know it's going to be late. It's just a bunch of questions I have to do for an interview. I still haven't picked anyone to interview.

Anyway, so after this I got some pie, a drink, a roll, and some butternut squash soup. Everything was awesome, especially the coconut cream pie. I didn't want to walk back home after I ate because the weather had gotten colder and windier. I looked around the store for a long time and then called mom. I figured it wouldn't hurt to just stay there for a while. I'm glad I did. Before I left I picked up a Japanese bento box (lunch box) for school. I've always wanted one.

Ever since I got home I've beeen playing Puzzle and Dragons. I didn't do anything all that interesting until FHE. We just wrote letters to ward members and brought cookies to them. I even got to keep some cookies for myself.

The Dreaded Test

Today started out with a meeting at work. I left around 7:40am. When I got there I clocked in and helped take down the chairs. We all sat down around the tables and the meeting started. Dave, I think his name was gave us all gift cards to Jamba Juice. Some of the things we talked about were the finances of the store and how they work, problems with customers and how to improve the overall performance of the store. One of the more interesting things we talked about was people bringing in fake money. Dave showed us a fake and a real $100 bill. I thought the fake one was pretty clever, but I could tell the difference by the texture of the paper. I don't think any of my fellow employees would pick this up. I am used to doing a lot of things by touch.

The meeting was about an hour long and we took some notes. Dave also took orders for free smoothies from Jamba Juice and went and got them. When he got back and we finished the meeting I clocked out and left. I went to Barnes and Noble next and looked around the store until the bank opened at 10am. When 10am came around I went to the bank and deposited my paycheck from yesterday.

I decided to go to Coldstone and Cinnabon after this again and I got a classic cinnamon roll and a banana oatmeal cookie batter shake. I was sitting in the store for a good half an hour studying for the history exam I took earlier while I snacked.

I decided to go home and take a nap before I studied more and took the test. The rest of the day after my nap wasn't very interesting. We had pizza and it took me around 2 hours to finish my test. I hope I did okay on it. Part of it isn't graded quite yet. Anyway, later tonight I ate some popcorn and right now I'm playing Puzzle and Dragons. In fact, I think I'll get back to that now.

Unexpected Bandanas

Guess who got more bandanas?!
This was a total spur of the moment thing that I did today just like yesterday. I had grilled cheese for breakfast and was hanging around the house when I decided I was going to leave for the mall 3 hours early so I could walk around. When I got to the mall I decided after walking around for a bit that I wanted to go to Starbucks and get a Chai Creme Frappuccino. I haven't been to the new Starbucks location before today. It's been a while since I have been to Starbucks in general. I left, went back inside the mall and sat in one of the chairs by this fireplace that is outside of R.C Willey. I just played Puzzle and Dragons for a little bit while I drank my Frappuccino.

I decided to go to Joanne's craft store and see if they had any bandanas that I didn't have. When I got there I was greeted by an employee who gave me a 25% off coupon. I headed straight for the bandanas. I didn't know where they were so I zig zagged through the iles until I found them. I was really surprised that they had so many that I didn't have! I just grabbed all the ones I didn't have and checked out. The coupon came in handy a lot. I headed straight back to the mall and got a rather pathetic sandwich from chick fill a. Honestly, it was bad, just pickles and chicken on a bun. I went straight to work after this.

Work was pretty simple today. I made the cinnastix, helped customers, and cleaned. It was pleasant, but making sticks always makes me jumpy. I actually think that standing in one place for too long makes me feel depressed for some reason. After work I skipped out on the ice cream. When I got home I left again with Laura and we went to the store with Kayla. Laura got some veggies, pasta, and other stuff for dinner tonight. When I got home I just did some stuff on the computer until dinner. I was pretty hungry to say the least. I hadn't eaten anything since the pathetic sandwich. We had pork roast, pasta, veggies and texas toast for dinner. Everything tasted so good.

Anyway, I've been playing games and studying a bit since. I think I'm going to end here.

Bandana Chase

Today was an awesome and fun day. I actually woke up on time today, at 7:45am. I had some mango Kefir and a peanut butter and jelly sandwitch for breakfast. I got my stuff together, got my workout clothes on and then left with mom. When I was at school I took my stuff to my locker inside the wellness center where I usually take it and after I grabbed my water bottle I went to Power Tone.

Today we did something a little different than we usually do. We didn't have the barbells out today at all. We just had a pilates mat, a yoga mat on top of that, a resistance band, and one dumbbell. Some of us were also playing around with the foam rollers before class. We used the resistance band to help do ab exercises and arm exercises. I was using the 30 pound strength band. We used the band around our feet for the ab exercises and we stood on the band for the arm exercises. We also had it around our back towards the end and she had us do flys which are great for the chest muscles and arms. We did planks, and minor exercises with the dumbbells. At the end we stretched and ended class. It was nice to do something different.

I headed back to the wellness center to get my backpack and other stuff out. I headed back to the P.E area of school and we had an extra credit day in Self Defense. We made it an extra credit day because so many people were gone because of spring break next week. For the class today we just told each other stories about scary situations that have happened with other women. It IS a self defense class so you get to hear a lot of stories both interesting and scary that happen between them and creepy people. I pretty much stayed for the whole class minus the last 10 minutes. I walked around school for the extra time I had before English.

Today in English we just worked on our interview questions. We are supposed to think up 20 and then reduce them to 10 I think. I didn't stay for class today because I am still studying for my American History exam this weekend and I'm 2 assignments behind in English. I will catch up for sure however.

I listened to a bit of Nightwish on my way to the Institute building for lunch. I got in line and the line was long, but once lunch started the line went pretty fast. There was chips, pudding and pulled pork sandwiches. I know that isn't the most healthy thing in the world. After I ate and left, after awlking around for a bit I decided to go to the official school cafeteria and look around. There was a salad bar, chinese food, a dessert bar,  drinks and other stuff. After looking around for a while I got cheesecake, salad with ranch and cheese, peas, potato wedges and other stringed veggies. I also got a chai latte because at the time I didn't even think there was black tea in it. I only drank a little bit of that.

I went straight to class after this and we had our review for exam 2 in American History. i recorded the whole thing. I am planning on using the recording for studying of course.

After class I headed straight for the bus, but when I was almost there I decided to go to Walmart instead on a whim. I had no clue what I was going to do there, but I decided to take a look at the bandanas. It took me a while to find them, but I eventually found them. I ended up getting 16 different ones and then left the store and caught the next bus. I went to Michael's craft store next and got 4 more bandanas. I thought that maybe I made the wrong decision in not getting one of the ones I saw at walmart after this, so I decided to ride back to school and look at the one I thought I needed. It ended up being the same as the blue green one I have at home so I didn't need to get it. I didn't want to leave one out so I'm glad I made sure. After this I caught the bus again and caught another one to the store from the mall.

After I got to the store I got a bai 5 grapefruit drink and then walked home. I cleaned my room and did a video and a picture of my whole entire bandana collection.

Later tonight we had pizza for dinner and I listened to Harry Potter and watched youtube videos. That was my awesome day today. :)

Creepy Characters.

Not much happened today. I went for my usual walk, did some updates to this blog, listened to Harry Potter, and other normal stuff for me. Oh yeah, and I ate another thing of green jello today because I felt like it. I will just leave a video here today. You should check out the other videos on this guys channel. I watched quite a few of them today. I think some of them are really interesting.

Stupid Facebook Glitches

I think all that confusing stuff that happened with Sam a week ago was Facebook's fault. I don't think that when he sees my messages it is even registering it on the messenger app most of the time. right now I am pretty sure it is showing on the desktop version, it just sometimes has the wrong time stamp is all. If you recall I thought he stopped reading my messages a little over a week ago and thought he was irritated at me or something because of something I thought I said. I usually rely on the messenger app on my phone to tell me when he sees them, but it looks like I'm going to have to stop relying on that for now. It's nice to have it all sorted out. That was one confusing experience. On the flip side though my confusion led me to call him and now he will talk to me a little which I am happy about. I have also managed to reinforce the truth that he is an honest person in my mind more. Sam really is a great friend and I'm glad he is there.

Just as I predicted last night was a long night of me studying. I had a study guide due in my Power Yoga class and I stayed up until 4am putting the finishing touches on it. I knew I would have trouble waking up today, but my biggest blunder was forgetting to set my alarm. I really do need to change the settings on my phone so it always goes off on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I usually just manually set it every night. I woke up at ten minutes to 9. You can guess that I missed my power tone class today. I actually remember mom trying to wake me up earlier but I think I was too out of it to really fully register it. So I hurried up and changed into my workout clothes just in case I did make it, got my stuff together, put my hair in a scarf because it was a mess and we left.

The first thing I did when I got to school was head to the library, go to google drive and print out my study guide. Thankfully I got a faster computer this time and there was only a momentary glitch where I had to try a few times to print it out bbecause I had toe wrong printer settings. Someone that works in the library helped me with that. I eventually got my study guide printed. One of the two times I tried to print before I got help I went to see if my paper was printing and this girl was at the printer and she must have printed like 40 pages; it was kind of funny. After I got my pages printed I went straight to my power tone teacher who is there until 11 and I apologized for not being there today and then turned my assignment in.

My self defense class is in an adjacent room and I went there next. The test wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. I just studied a bit from the notes a fellow classmate sent me and we had to fill in some blanks about basic safety and defense. One of the things we had to note was signs that a person is probably suspicious. A few are they are always looking down, they speak too quietly and they move around a lot. Then there were questions about car safety, home safety, etc. I think I might have missed one, but I'm not sure because e switched papers with another person and my other person never gave mine back to me before she gave it to the teacher. I am so relieved to be over with that even though it was easy. I've been worrying about it for a few days now.

Next was English. I don't remember if I told you yesterday, but I had to stop thinking about last nights assignment because the stress of preparing for 2 tests and one study guide on top of the research assignment was putting me over the edge. I was able to actually do my work once I put off the English assignment. I explained my situation to my teacher and she understood completely. I am going to do the assignment tomorrow probably. I went to Jamba Juice before class and got an Orange Carrot Karma smoothie and an apple cinnamon oatmeal. I brought it to class and we went around asking each person in the class what topic they are researching for our current set of assignments. I was the last person to be asked and quite honestly i didn't know until I was sitting there. I am thinking of doing research and my project on the benefits of cleaning and how important it is. There is a problem where people don't really appreciate how important it is. I want people to understand how important the various cleaning jobs are and cleaning in general in all it's forms. I for one think cleaning to very therapeutic, though I understand that some people don't feel the same. That makes it no less important.

After English I walked around listening to music. I went looking for some baked chips at some point and found them at subway. I got the cheese ones and along the way I got a bag of mini Oreos from some guys that were handing out snacks. Sadly I dropped most of my chips on accident while I was walking, but I wasn't really all that bent out of shape about it. Another thing that I did at noon was I went to a cooking seminar about middle eastern food. Everyone there got to watch the cook make a middle eastern curry, rice and meat dish and we got to try some as well after. I thought it was rather impressive and it tasted delicious! The last thing I did before I ent to American history was attend a small health fair where there was booths about anxiety, depression, eye health, healthy eating, exercise and other stuff.

I was 3 minutes to class, but it was no big deal. Today in American history we talked about the events leading up to the first world war. I also learned that the test was not today but on Thursday, Friday and Saturady which was a relief to say the least. I  went to the mall after class and walked around for a while. I went to the gym after this, but not before picking up a  new phone holder for working out. You know, one of those things where you put the phone inside and strap it to your arm so you don't have to hold it or anything while you are working out. I did 30 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes in the sauna today. I wanted to keep it simple today. It was a nice workout, I did some time on the stair machine and eliptical. I packed up, spent another 20 minutes at the mall while i was waiting for the bus and then headed off to the store.

I burned most of my calories so I picked up a mango bai 5 drink and a chicken pot pie. I had dad pick me up and then I made dinner. I sat on the kitchen floor watching stuff on Netflix until my pot pie was done. I went downstairs and watched some youtube videos while eating. i also finished off my candy and my last cookie from yesterday. The rest of the day I just took it easy, played games and tried to fill in more of the posts I missed on this blog. I am nearly finished with filling in February.

High Pressure

Tonight will be rough for sure. I still have to do more studying for my Self Defense and American history to tests. I am also still finishing up my study guide for power tone. I have a 4th assignment for English but I am so stressed I think I'm going to let it be late and talk to my teacher. I am 100% sure she will understand.

Other than studying I changed the look of this blog, went to the store for an hour and a half, went to Dairy Queen, copied a DVD of an old video from 22 years ago to my computer and went for a walk. It has been a pretty pleasant day.

Mom took some of our old VHS tapes that had our family movies on them and had them converted to DVD. I decided to copy one of the movies that is my favorite to my computer. I will post the video probably tomorrow on this post because it is taking a long time to upload.
EDIT: Here it is!

I got a chili cheese dog, and a marshmallow sundae at Dairy Queen after going to the store and getting some Irish toffee cookies, sixlets and a cream soda. I looked around the store for a long time. The cookies were for the family.

Anyway, I'm glad I got to get out and do stuff today. I better end here though because I still have s lot of studying to do. If I forgot anything I'll just post it tomorrow.

Blog Update #1

I am going to start doing individual posts from time to time telling you what is happening on this blog. This is the first official one.

What is happening right now?

As of now I have all the posts from February 14th to present up. I also have all the January posts up too as you probably know. I still need to fill in December and August of last year, but I am doing that a little bit at a time.

By the time you see this my blog colors and design will probably be changed to something new and not this weird orange purple design I had before. If it is not yet just come back later or tomorrow.

That is all for this update.

Trying to Listen

Today we had Stake Conference and it was rainy. I got to sleep in a little more because church was a half an hour later. Last night I forgot to turn on my sleep timer when I put Harry Potter on last night. I have read them so many times that it doesn't really mater though. I often go to sleep listening to the books. I find that I fall asleep faster when I do this. Today I decided to fast even though fast Sunday was moved to next week. I actually managed to do both a water and a food fast instead of just a food fast. I am glad I finally decided to brave that storm. It feels good and I think I needed it. I ate too much yesterday probably and I'm sure not only my spirit needed that rest.
Stake conference was interesting. There was a talk about wisdom. The person that gave it is a doctor and he almost sent a family with carbon monoxide poisoning home but didn't because of some helpful advice from an experienced nurse. It really is nessicary to ask God for help and wisdom when we are unwise in a lot of situations.
Another person talked about surviving cancer and what it was like to be on chemo. He found strength through relying on God through his trials.
My personal favorite was about being forgiven after we sin and how there is never a game over in our life. The woman that gave this talk told about how she used to get a turn playing super Mario as a little girl from her brother and he would only let her play until her lives were out. She always dreaded the game over screens. In this life we really can have more chances to do things correctly through Jesus.
There was a talk was about missionary work and about a guy who consented to be taught and was astonished and excited about what he heard. Missionary work is really amazing. I'm glad it is encouraged so much.

Someone talked about even listening to the doctrines that we are familiar with in the church again even if we know them by heart. We might learn something different sometime. Basics are important. We will get far in life if we don't forget the fundamentals. The story of the iron rod, Nephilim and the tree of life was also told. We always need to hold to the iron rod to never get lost in the darkness. We will get through life and find happiness. Sometimes we might let go and get lost in the darkness and sin but with Jesus we can find our way back and eventually reach the tree and eat it's fruit. Scripture reading and favorite scriptures were talked about. This was the last talk.

I did zone out a few times and forgot a few of the talks ( there was quite a few of them) but I did try to listen unlike other times in the past.

I had the rest of my Cafe Rio salad, and some tapioca pudding to break my fast. It tasted so good! I fasted for 18 hours and took a long nap and stuff to help me get through it.

Today was a great day and I feel like I spiritually progressed.

Ice Cream Hunt

Mom and I went to Costco today and got the usual important groceries. We got eggs, chicken, bread, and some other stuff. We dropped some old clothes of hers off at Deseret Industries as well. Mom wanted a lime freeze and so we decided to go and look for one. We tried Arctic Circle first and their lime freeze wasn't all that great at all. There was hardly any lime flavor in their ice cream at all. We went to Iceberg next, but they didn't have any type of freeze at all, just regular shakes. I guess the two are different. Mom and I were going to try Sonic next, but their computer system was down and so we decided to leave and go home. Mom wasn't ready to give up yet, so we headed off to Purple Turtle because I was pretty sure they would get it right. Last time I was there I got a fantastic strawberry cordial shake, it was amazing! Anyway, so the whole trip ended up being a success, and mom's lime freeze actually tasted like limes. My coconut cream pie shake was fabulous as well. We headed home after this and I ended up saving my shake until now.

Other stuff I did today was take a walk, buy an awesome puzzle game called The Talos Principle that was 75% off on Steam and went to Cafe Rio for dinner tonight. I nearly almost ate the whole entire salad, it was big as usual and I got half chicken and half beef in it. I rolled up the rest of what I didn't eat and stuck it in the fridge earlier. Tomorrow after I fast I'll have a nice burrito to look forward to. For those who aren't familiar with cafe rio, their salads are put on top of a tortilla, then they put rice, meat, lettuce, and whatever else you want on it. It is totally fabulous and I love going there every once in a while. Here is a picture.

Spicy Spaghetti

Today I went to the mall and just walked around for a bit before work. Mom had been on errands when I left and we actually both ended up being there. We decided to go out to lunch before I had work and so we went to The Spaghetti facory and it was amazing. I got spicy spaghetti, salad, cheesecake and we even had cheese bread with sauce for an appetizer. Here are the pictures. I ate my leftover spaghetti tonight after work.

Today at work it was mostly cleaning again just like last week. I don't really mind all that much as I like cleaning and find it relaxing. I did however also learn to use the register and help customers finally! I am excited to help more people next time as well. I brought home some of the founders favorite ice cream (the one with vanilla, pecans, fudge, brownie, and caramel) from Cold Stone after my shift. I love having Coldstone in the same place as Cinnabon, it is awesome. I saved it for just a while ago.

The Orange Pirate

Today after school I went out for ice cream at Farrs. I got 3 flavors, licorice, cheesecake and pistacio. There are some flavors I don't like to go to Coldstone for.

The only other thing I'm going to share is this little story I write today in class and posted on facebook. Even Sam commented on it!

The galaxy was up in an uproar. What WERE the people of Earth thinking?! The leaders of the Great Silver Council shook their heads in disappointment. DONALD TRUMP?! You couldn't be serious. Then again, they were blissfully ignorant of his true identity. Donald Trump AKA Reldag The Orange Pirate was an infamous long living galactic fugitive that was responsible for the downfall of many planets. He kept the people alive, but had a knack for sucking the color and life out of everything. By the time he was finished with a planet there was war, poverty, no one smiled, hardly anyone talked and it was like someone painted over everything in very dull colors. Sadly, the People of the Great Silver Council could not interfere with the events going on at Earth. The people of Earth just weren't ready for such a thing as external knowledge of other planets. They were an interesting people however, and so the people of the Great Silver Council kept watching over them. Many hopes were high that Earth would somehow not fall to this villain. There was a chance that he wouldn't get his hands on the planet, many people were against him and so hope was bright. Many planets throughout the Galaxy waited and watched. Reldag was a very cunning man in the past, but something was off about him now. Was he finally losing his mind? Was he finally going senile? The Great Silver Council couldn't put their finger on it, but they felt like this time was different. Many different organizations of soldiers and police through the Galaxy had their ships cloaked in silence near Earth waiting for the fateful day when he would try to flee the planet. The people were tired of his chaos and he was apparently starting to slip in word and in deed. Now this surely had to be the time to put him away for good.

Rainbow Space Unicorn

Nothing much to say today. I went to Harmons and saw what I could buy with $4.50. I ended up buying soup, a roll, and a drink. I ended up trashing the drink sadly because it had splenda in it. I looked around for about an hour and a half before i finally decided what to buy.

I also took a walk and thought about Sam for a while. Besides that nothing much happened. I played some Puzzle and Dragons and just hung around the house. Here is a video I shared with some friends a few days ago.

From Shadow to Light (28th to the 1st)

I sometimes jump to conclusions, and this sometimes puts my friendships in jeopardy. This post will be the recount of the last 4 days since I haven't written for a while. I will post anything before this separately.

Sam can be trusted, I have always known that and I am sure that it will never change, but I guess you could say that I had a short moment of doubt. You see, for the past 6 months he hasn't said anything to me but he has been reading my messages. I'll keep what I say private because I just want it to be between me and Sam, but he didn't look at my messages for 3 days (from the 28th up until now) and I guess you could say I panicked. I thought he was irritated at something I said and I was so sure that this was going to be the end. He has said in previous messages that I am better off without him. I told him that I didn't think he really wanted me gone and when I sent the next message that is when this entire fiasco started. It was short lived, but I nearly walked out of his life because I was so sure that he was trying to say that he didn't want me in his by not looking at my messages.

I thought I went to far and finally pushed him away. I felt positively the worst for the past couple of days. Then today I posted on his wall and said if he isn't going to look at my messages he better not falter on that because it will only confuse me. I also said that I would leave him in 60 days once I thought about stuff. I actually worded it in such a way unintentionally that he ended up looking at my messages because I think he got confused or something. This in turn caused me to turn a 180 and rethink everything because i was VERY confused at that time. I decided that I needed to call him to clarify everything. I was scared out of my wits and didn't know what was going to happen. it took me 30 minutes of having my finger over his number before I got the courage to call him. I ended up waiting until I got to one of the grassy hills over at the local field / track. I sat by a tree and just went for it.

Calling him was a VERY  smart decision. We were able to clear things up and it turns out that i completely misunderstood him and he does want me around. He does think of me as a friend and things are just fine. I can say that now I trust him more than ever and feel like I am on cloud nine. I will keep the details out of this post, but it was a very awesome phone call and i got to talk to him for 15 minutes! I am just so full of relief and peace that I feel like I could float now. It was like I got puled from some deep shadows into the light. He is a sweet guy and I am glad I know him. He even said that he wil try and talk to me more on facebook from now on. I feel so relieved I decided to take that scary step and call him.

I have a problem sometimes with people where even if I know they probably on't abandon me I still feel like they will sometimes. What happened with Sam isn't his fault at all, it is just an effect of this problem I have. Needless to say I will be extra careful to stay optimistic where Sam is concerned from now on. I don't want him to be a victim of me panicking.

Anyway besides this, you didn't miss much on the 28th, i twas a Sunday and nothing happened much. On the 29th I went to Harmons and got some kefir, snap peas, pita bread, hummus, shampoo and deodorant. Today I went to school and did my usual classes. I've been taking walks and stuff as well. I am nervous about my English class now because we are starting our research and project phase. I just know what isn't going to be easy. The fun part of this day was going to the temple open house at the Provo city center temple. It is getting dedicated in 2 weeks and so I'm glad I got to go through it with my ward. The temple was beautiful and I couldn't stop smiling the whole way through. I especially loved the full room paintings in some of the rooms. We took pictures after at the fountain, but I don't think I'm going to post them because someone else took them and the quality wasn't too high.

Anyway, I will end here, I've said enough for now. I feel no need to get overly detailed. I've told you the important stuff. :)
