Father's Day

So today I REALLY did not want to get out of bed. I wrestled with the decision to go back to sleep for probably 10 minutes. I was going to get up at ten to wash my hair, but I decided it wasn't that bad and I was feeling really tired and lazy so I just put on phineas and ferb and just went back to sleep.

I woke up again around 11:45. I walked upstairs like a zombie after putting on a red shirt and ate some Captain Crunch.  I walked downstairs like a zombie again and made sure my ride to church (Marcie) was coming. After this I just played tetris and other games on my phone until she came.

While in the car we just talked about what we had been doing this week. I told her about going to the pool and the other things I did this week. It is always fun driving with Marcie, she always has a good sense of humor and makes everything more lively and fun.

when we got to church I just sat in the foyer for a few minutes and read the scriptures. I went to Relief Society after this and basically was reading the Book Of Mormon the whole first hour. After the first hour I chose which Sunday school class I wanted to go to.

I decided to stay in the room I was in. As it do happens the lesson was about the same part of the scriptures I am on now, and that I was reading (Alma 8 -13).  It was fun to be able to know a lot about the lesson and participate.

After Sunday school was done we had to wait in the hall for another ward to get out of sacrament meeting.  It took about around 10 minutes, then we went in. Just the usual sacrament meeting stuff happened. i actually don’t remember what was talked about because I was reading the scriptures the whole time. I think I read 10 chapters during church.

After sacrament meeting I went home with another friend named Jordin, because Marcie had to go to work. I had to stay a little bit after church ended because Jordin had to be set apart for a new church calling. I didn’t mind at all though. I had managed to get my phone down to 9% by this time (it was only at 50% at the very beginning of church).  We went home after she was done.

When i got home I asked my mom what was for dinner and she said beef stroganoff. She forgot to get mushrooms this time though. Honestly though, I wasn’t all that sad about that because I don’t even like mushrooms that much. After this I went downstairs and got into my normal clothes, and then put on the new episode of phineas and Ferb that isn’t even supposed to be on until later this week. I guess someone got it somehow and now a bunch of people have put it on YouTube.

I surfed Xanga for a few minutes after this, and checked to see if my audio stuff on Xanga was still working. I discovered there is a problem with playing my audio files in Firefox, at least for me anyway. I am not sure if it will happen for anyone else. I tried it in chrome and it worked though. I then opened Audacity and did a few mic tests to see how far or close my mic needs to be away from my mouth in order to sound good. I discovered that if I put the mic on my Logitech headset just below my eye it gets the best sound quality. I haven’t used Audacity or my mic on my headset since I got this new laptop, so I didn’t know yet. I think the sound comes out really good with this mic if you have it at the right position, but if you have it too close it get’s too loud and gets all gritty and weird sounding. i don’t really know how to fix that, so I just adjust how far away from my mouth it is usually.

I went upstairs and helped clear and clean the table for dinner after this, then hung around the kitchen for a few minutes. I went back downstairs after this and played Tetris 5 player sprint, I did at least 5 rounds and lost them all haha. I am at the level on 5 player sprint where I am with people around the same level or higher than me so far as skill goes.  I am rank 11 in sprint 5 player and tend to roller coaster up and down ranks because of the competition, just like I do in Tetris Arena on Tetris Friends.

I checked facebook, Xanga, and blogger, then I went upstairs to eat dinner. My niece showed me a few pictures that she had drawn, one of them is the roman warrior you will see below. I have made the mistake in the past of ignoring her drawings. I just had to snap a picture with my phone and upload it to my blog. We are dinner after this. We had beef stroganoff, broccoli, carrots, and salad. We had the stroganoff over rice instead of noodles this time.  My mom was making lime (last time it was lemon) icebox pudding the whole time everyone was eating. We talked a lot about geneology at dinner tonight, it was pretty interesting.  AfterI was done eating I went back downstairs.

I listened to music for a while and read some blogs, then headed to ward Prayer. Ward prayer is something we do almost every Sunday at 8:00. someone in my ward, in the church volunteers to have it at their house usually. We usually have a few thoughts, and a few people usually speak and say something spiritual, and then we usually say a prayer at the end and then have refreshments. it usually isn’t very long at all, like a half an hour or so.

They talked about hope and faith (I think) at ward prayer.i was kind of reading so I didn’t hear very much. We had sugar cookies, the kind with frosting and sprinkles afterward. I noticed that they had a drinking fountain in their house (it was pretty big too) I got a ride home from another one of my friends after I was done there. I was going to get a ride from Jordin, but she hadn’t brought her car.  When I got home the lime icebox pudding was ready. I had previously thought it was lemon, but my mom told me it was lime this time. I got some and went downstairs and ate it. I went back to watching Phineas and Ferb after this.

Below, Lime icebox pudding. Graham Cracker crumbs on top and bottom.

Well, I doubt anything else is going to happen so I’ll end here. If anything else does happen I will edit.

Leave the Butterflies Alone

I just thought it would be fun to show this picture. I really like this shirt. I just bought it 12 days ago, it is my favorite. I've always been a huge supergirl fan. I think it goes with my personality really well. It has sparkles all over it but you can't really tell.

So, soon after I published my last entry I started moving some posts I have on here that I didn't have on Xanga. It took me about 40 minutes to do that. It was around 12:30 midnight. After i did that I turned out the lights and watched Phineas and Ferb until I was sleepy, than I went to sleep.

In the morning I woke up and just went straight to Phineas and Ferb. I watched the movie, and surfed Xanga a bit, and then had some apple juice.

I found my niece with a butterfly net, she wanted to catch a butterfly and keep it as a pet. She is 10 years old and doesn't know very much about butterflies. I think I have managed to talk her out of it, but it took some talking. We were kind of mildly arguing about it and sharing each others point of view on the subject. I kept on telling her that butterflies were never meant to be captive, they were born to be free and that is the way it should be. She kept on insisting that she would like to have on in a jar, and I kept on telling her it probably would not survive in there. Than after this she started suggesting other bugs that she could capture and I told her that mom doesn't want to have any bugs in the house, she is trying to keep bugs OUT of the house.  I really ope she does not pursue butterfly hunting, at least not now anyway. I thin she still has some more learning to do before she starts taking care of bugs.

Anyway, so i think I got her off of that after I put on Phineas and Ferb for a few hours. She grabbed her DS while we were watching it and she just played it while we were watching Phineas and Ferb. I am really glad I have gotten them to watch it. I think it is fun watching it alone, but it is even more fun watching it with family.  I usually have to be careful when I watch it upstairs though on our big TV like I was doing because if I watch too much my sister sometimes gets annoyed with it after a while. I understand though, some parts of the show do repeat (and Doofenshmirtz can't sing at ALL). i try to keep it below 10 episodes a day.

I was kind of surfing Xanga at the same time I was watching P&F with my nieces.

I started cleaning out my xanga subscriptions after I was done doing that with my nieces. I just kind of hung out around the house writing some other stuff after this for a whie.

surfed the apple store, played with instagram a little, checked out some old websites I used to go to, and watched Hercules: The Legendary Journeys for a few hours. Nothing much has happened since then. I'm probably just going to surf Xanga for the rest of the night and probably read a little bit.

I guess this is all for today.

EDIT: Went to the store.

The Twin Dilemma (part 1)

So it's been over a month and a half since I have seen Darik and Dylan. I made a commitment to just let go and not talk to them anymore. I kind of broke that commitment on Wednesday and wrote on Darik's Facebook wall. I know that probably wasn't a good idea. These two are extremely hard to let go of. My sub conscious seems to not want to let go. I dream about Darik and Dylan quite often, this has been the case for years. Even when I don't want to, even if I never think about the or see them my sub conscious never wants to let go and stop dreaming about them.

Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't. I am hoping that now I am pretty sure I will never see them again that my sub conscious will get a clue and let go of them once and for all.

I have a strange feeling like it is going to be super hard because the way it ended with us was SUPER awkward. It wasn't great at all. Every time I try and tell them how I feel about something it always. Seems to backfire. I just wish they could understand me better. I know it is too late now and I really need to be serious about really letting go for good but it is just really unsettling me that it ended so bad.

Anyway I will give more details later in the second part. There is no way I can put all my feelings on this subject in one entry, or even a couple. I am just going to let my feelings out a little bit at a time. I am hoping that If write it down here that I will be able to be more at peace eventually.

This is all for now.
By the way this is my first post using Xanga mobile
PART 2
PART 3

How has Xanga changed or impacted your life?

Well, I guess it's changed my life in the way I actually have at least one place now where I feel like I am not only heard, but that now I have a place that I feel like I can write anything. I feel like I am more able to express myself freely without worry than on other sites or blogs for some reason. I have met a lot of cool people on Xanga and have had many experiences here.

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

Ultra

i spent a lot of time today on Tetris. I actually beat my old high score on Tetris Ultra twice today. I played a little bit of Arena too on Tetris Friends, played a little on Tetris Battle on facebook as well. I actually ranked down today in arena. I was rank 10, but had 0 points and I lost a game, so i ranked down. It is pretty normal for me to roller coaster between 9 and 10 though, so I'm not worried at all. I really enjoy doing Ultra, Ultra is a mode of Tetris that is 1 player. You just try to score as high as you can in 2 minutes. I really enjoy all the modes, but this one is really good for practice in the 2 player, 6 player, and Arena modes. I suggest if you are reading this and you haven't played on Tetris Friends, or Tetris Battle on facebook you go try it. I have been playing Tetris since I was 3 and the only thing I haven't mastered yet is the T-spin.

I watched a little bit of Phineas and Ferb today. I didn't get to watch very much Netflix on the TV upstairs today because the remote went missing, and my nieces were watching something before that. My family was using it for the rest of the day watching Kyle XY.

My mom made tuna casserole today for dinner. She made 2 different kinds. She made a gluten free one, and a regular one. We didn't get to use as much cheese as we usually do because we ran out and we didn't know we were out of cheese. It was still really good as usual however. Everything mom cooks is always great in my opinion. She also made lemon icebox pudding, it was fantastic. I think I had 2 helpings of that.

I have been manually importing my posts from Xanga to blogger. I have to manually do it because Xanga has no import / export feature. I am doing this because I want to be able to export to Wordpress as well if for some reason i decide to. I am exporting one month of blogs every day. For example: I exported my blog entries from August 2011 today. I'm going to be going backwards from there.  I have blogs on Xanga all the way to 2008.  I still prefer Xanga to any other blogging site, even here. I am even going to be getting my own personal URL there soon. I tend to want to quit blogging when I don't blog on Xanga. I have always had a lot of fun on Xanga despite my occasional lazy moments.

I changed my theme on Xanga today. I have had that previous orange, yellow, red, and black theme. I figured I would go for something a little cooler this time.  The name of my background is "Swept away". The background came from colourlovers.com. I colored it on my account (Starberry).

Anyway, I think this is going to be it for today, other than me changing the color of my profile picture after this. It's pretty late and I don't think anything else will happen today.

Mango Slushie

So today I went swimming again with my sister and her family. Seven Peaks wasn't open today, so we went to another local pool. Before we payed and everything though we went to this nearby snow cone place. They had tons of flavors, and they don't actually serve them in cones, they serve them in cups. I got a medium Mango slushy. We did this before we went swimming to pass the time because we were waiting for i to be 6:00. After 6:00 they make it half price. We just sat there eating slushies until 6:00 and then went in.

We got a locker, and put our clothes and stuff in it. then figured out a place to put our towels and sunscreen and stuff. We got into the pool after this. They have more than one pool where we went. They have one that is from 3 feet and up, they have one that is from 4 feet to 13 feet with lanes and stuff as well, and a diving board over where it is 13 feet. They have two slides, a twisty one, and one that goes straight. The place where the slide ends is attached to this other place that I don't quite know how to describe, it's kind of a river like thing that has a current and goes around in circles, and then it has this space in the middle that is kind of like an unheated hot tub.  There is also this place with all these sprinklers, and fun water falls and stuff, but it is freezing cold. It's a pretty fun pool, we were there for 2 hours. I spent some time with my nieces, and had to fix their goggles a few times, it was pretty fun spending time with them.

I didn't get to go off the diving board, it just slipped my mind, I did do everything else there. Oh, and I forgot to mention they also have a plce where you can get food. I didn't get anything, but they have quite a lot.

Anyway, after wen went swimming we went home and i just went back to what I was doing before i went swimming. I just spent he rest of the night with family and just watching stuff on Netflix, and nothing else of note that i remember.

Limit Exceeded

First I have two things to say about Xanga.

So if you haven't read my last post you probably don't know what I have been doing. Just telling you aboutit so you can catch up.

I hence forth pledge never to talk about Xanga drama, or to get aught up in ANY of the crap here. You will never find anything like that on MY BLOG. This is the last and only time you will see me mentioning this.

I just have to comment on how it is my sister in law's birthday today. She made her own cupcakes and everything. They were some kind of cream frosting with, banana cream filling, and Nilla wafers on top and on the bottom of the cupcake. They were delicious by the way. We just sang happy birthday a few minutes ago. We have been babysitting her baby for the past few hours. I was actually downstairs sleeping.

Today I have mostly been watching Phineas and Ferb and Xena on Netflix with my nieces, doing some yoga, and just hanging out. I always enjoy watching stuff with my nieces especially P&F. I got into it sometime in April or March i think. Watching stuff on Netflix is a regular thing for me and my family. I have an account, and my sister also has an account.

This brings me to the main subject of this blog, which is to tell you something shocking. So first I have to say up until now we have been using Quest for our internet service for 2 or three months. Before that we were on Comcast everything for a few years. Anyway, today while I was sleeping my family noticed that the internet was giving a message that said we were over our bandwidth limit for the month. Quest temporarily shut down our internet as a warning. After all this my sister at some point went on to some website or something and found out that my family uses the internet more than 99% of the people in America. It's scary that I am not even the least bit phased by this at all. So right after my niece came down to wake me up so we could sing happy birthday to my sister in law, i found my dad in his room trying to figure out all the internet stuff. As we speak he is arguing with someone, I don't know who he is talking to. I hope we get this resolved, because internet issues in this house are big issues.

So that is what has been happening today. That is all for now. if anything else happens before Midnight I will edit this.

Popcorn and Pizza

So yesterday I spent a lot of the day watching Phineas and Ferb, xena, hanging around instagram on my phone, and thinking about life. I went to Mirror Mirror with my sister and her family, and my brother in law's family was there too. We all went out to the Pizza Pie Cafe after. I had eaten a lot of Resses pieces, drank a lot of Dr. Pepper, ate a lot of popcorn, and a little bit of Red Cream Soda Laura brought for me. I wasn't feeling like eating at first, but I figured I should get some real food in my system, so I decided to eat anyway. It was good food. I had salad, cheese breadsticks, pasta, and dessert pizza. Afterward we went home and i just watched Xena and hung around the house.

Monday for FHE we played Softball, I didn't really play but I watched. It was at my old elementary school where i went to school for 5th and 6th grade. I had to walk around and think about all the memories I had there. Nothing much happened besides that. i had fun bringing back those memories.

Sunday I just went to church. I am all the way to Alma in the book of Mormon (Alma 5 as of now). I am really enjoying reading it.

Sorry if this seems kind of rushed, I am setting up my old blog again today so I have a lot on my mind. I think this is all for now. I will post again later most likely.

Guess who's baaack? FAST FORWARD!

So instead of painstakingly going all the way back to August of last year and trying to insert all the blog entries I have missed, instead of writing individual blog posts for each day I have missed and trying to pretend like they were always there I am just going to summarize everything that has happened in the last year since last August when I started being slow about blogging. Here we go.

August: I introduced my first baby picture to facebook, cleared up things with Dylan (I was just being dramatic), I wrote a poem called "You Are" which I will show later, I came up with my motto "I float, I fly, but I never touch the ground. I started walking more, I started taking a serious interest in empathy and my empathic abilities, had my mom's and my nieces Birthday, went to Los Harmonos for my nieces birthday, went to the eye doctor (I am still legally blind). I started watching the Twilight zone, I discovered Minecraft, but didn't start playing yet, I went to a back to school church BBQ, I started doing heavy edits on some of my pictures for fun, went to Lagoon (amusement park) with my ward for a church activity, and became really active in Yahoo Answers and Tetris.

September: Got into brain exercise sites like Lumosity and others reached my half way point in weight loss, got a haircut, started reading the Glass Mask manga, continued playing Tetris (that never really wore off remember that). I started walking to the store alone, I joined the Hard Drop Tetris community, got interested in doing T-spins in tetris, did some sunset photography, played a giant game of twister with my church mates, I started using this blog, started using Instagram seriously, listened to my first football game all the way through, it was a really great game. saw Darik and Dylan for the first time in 4 months, got into mines and living statues, got into Masterpiece theater anime, got accepted to uVU, became more conscious about my health and stopped drinking pop, did a whole bunch of tests that helped me figure out what I wanted to do, started playing Minecraft, and had my sister's birthday.

October: I dressed up as a golden queen for Halloween, I gained a few pounds from candy back, I seriously started playing Minecraft, I bought Minecraft, started exerimenting with night time themed nails, started making custom My little Ponies for fun, got into My Little Pony Friendship is Magic in general, lost my liking for all Zynga games after I started playing Minecraft, decided i did not want long hair anymore, nearly destroyed my other creations in Minecraft when I was just trying to destroy one of them with TNT blocks.  LDS general Conference, I got over a little case of depression and finally decided I wanted to go into Psychology instead of English, my motivation and happiness went up this month in general. I also kicked some bad habits.

November: I renewed my subscription to Pandora One, my dad started seriously making bread, a new Tetris app came to the app store, I made my first reading list, celebrated Thanksgiving, started seriously thinking about using my white cane, had my first facebook profile picture that was me as a baby.

December: The power went out for a little bit on the first, cut my hair and regretted it, played my first 100 games in a row on Tetris Friends and won exactly 25 of them, also had one of the luckiest games I have ever played. We started remodeling, tore out all 3 bathrooms and re-did all of them, made an extra room downstairs, painted, did new carpeting, got rid of our ugly brick wall downstairs, got rid of the creaks in the floor, got a new storm door, celebrated Christmas with the family and new, years, everyone caught the flu after Christmas except for me, i only for a minor cold and was lucky. Saw Sam and started to think about letting go of him, switched to the new timeline design on facebook, went to a ward, church Christmas party and brought home lots of candy and stuff. Bought muppet Christmas Carol off of iTunes, finished remodeling the house (upstairs only) Got a new bed set, and moved everything back into my room again. We didn't get the Christmas decorations up until the day before Christmas because of the remodeling.

January: New Year, Dyed my hair again, did some family pictures with everyone, finished carpeting and everything else downstairs (I remember that we finished this month, not last month). My room was finished last month though, also the upstairs obviously.  Started my first semester of college in almost 4 years, took Student Success, choir, psychology, and 2 institute classes (teachings of the Living Prophets and Dating and Courtship), got a new laptop, got my textbooks, did a brain drawing in psychology, worked in a group successfully in psychology for the first time, got off to a really great start in school. I found my favorite study spot in the library, started going to Jamba Juice regularly on Mondays at school. Started eating at school for lunch, went shopping, lived off of 94 dollars this month it was crazy after all the shopping I did. Had my first conversation with a complete stranger over lunch. When i was crossing a street my phone fell out of my pocket, when i realized it was gone I retraced my steps and found it without a scratch on it. It was a busy street.  Got used to reading Textbooks, and memorized the university campus.

February: Got into a show Called "Merlin", pondered how silly Groundhog day really is, finally officially lost interest in Sam, started looking up 5K plans for running, kicked my habit of not drinking enough water, started using the Calorie Count website, went to Cold Stone Creamery and got some Mint Ice cream. Celebrated both my brother's birhdays,  nothing much happened on Valentine's Day except for FHE (family Home Evening) we made valentines, I didn't really make anything that great, I just fooled around mostly and listened to people talk, I think I remember going to the store that day and getting chocolate for fun. I listened to Nightwish's new album for the first time and got hooked on it for a few weeks,  I found out my intense love for stars is called "Astrophillia". Finally got my feelings for Dylan back, I had been numb for a long time after I lost my best friends.  I bought all of Jane Austen's books, joined Pinterest, my ward did a murder mystery night it was fun, and I went back and watched some old Sesame Street videos I liked and thought about the past. I also did some poetry this month but I will post that later. School was doing great this month.

March: Got out my old Marble collection and set it out in the open in my room again, bought some Miyazaki films like Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind,  and the Cat Returns. Had spring break it was kind of borig being out of school.  Started reading the bible but slacked off half way through the month, started looking for 90's cartoons I hadn't seen in years, went to Costco a few times, did not wear green on St. Patricks day due to not having anything green, made a magical girl anime list for some of my friends, bought a digital psychology textbook to help me with memorizing, also bought a 1 year subscription to MyPsychLab. Started eating Sixlets again after a long time, made home made pizza with some friends, I think general conference happened at the end of this month too. I was a little nervous at this time because finals were close in a few weeks.

April: Got my own Netflix account, realized how many times i got to text someone but end up not saying anything a lot of the time, started to get a little sad about school ending soon, finished my last homework assignments, did my psychology final, and gave my final presentation in Student Success, did a choir concert, signed up for fall semester classes, got straight A's in all my classes, was a little nervous about the final for psychology at the beginning of the month but it turned out perfect. I finished my psychology final a week earlier than everyone else it was open book and online. Joined Khan Academy, told everyone about my former phobia towards mirrors, finally learned how to take screenshots with my phone. i had never really bothered to learn before. Started jogging / walking a little, but kind of slacked off a little.  Said goodbye to Darik and Dylan for good, it ended really awkwardly which is sad but there is nothing I can do about it now. I'll probably never see them again and even though i do have regrets I will have to deal with it. I learned that expressing myself to them isn't a good idea because they just don't get it. We celebrated Easter and I rally aggravated a few of my teeth with all the candy and nuts. I started using xylitol toothpaste and mouthwash to help my teeth more, before I had been using floride toothpaste and stuff.  Realized that staying inside or inside my room makes me a little crazy and irritable so now I have stopped staying in my room 24/7. one of my friends brought me cupcakes, did a hobo dinner with some friends for an FHE activity one evening it was awesome. We roasted a whole bunch of stuff over a fire and made banana boats as well, we chilled our drinks in the nearby river it was cool. My grades became final, got straight A's for sure.

May: Started reading the book of Mormon seriously, went to my brother's graduation, mentioned how I am glad I only have to be out of school for a 3rd of the year, minecraft came to Xbox 360 I do not own an xbox though. I took picture of m goalball trophies and uploaded them to facebook to share with everyone, joined soundcloud, went to seven Peaks a few times, bought a season pass to Seven Peaks,  went to Trafalga with a few of my friends for an FHE activity, went to a party at my friends and swam in her Venice themed swimming pool, also made smoores, and watched a movie as well. went to the Rec Center nearby once,  got my nieces into Phineas and Ferb,  watched Redwall again.  had to cut more branches off our apple tree, found out our next door neighbors are moving.  Got a new wall clock.

June (so far): Went shopping for some new clothes, just new shirts. Got a new chair for my room, my family got a new fridge yesterday, I reached episode 85 in Xena, all caught up in Phineas and Ferb again, Made it to Mosiah in the book of Mormon,  Started attending the Temple Prep class in church,  went to Seven Peaks, became really active on Instagram again, roses have bloomed and I took pictures. I went to this place yesterday called the Pizza Pie Cafe and ate pizza, pasta, salad and breadsticks like there was no tomorrow. I also went to a movie (Mirror Mirror) it was fabulous. I had thurch this week, and got all the way to Alma in the Book of Mormon, i reached season 6 in the Xena series, been spending time with my nieces, became really active on Experience Project until someone with a gross picture started following me. I got turned off after that and left. Decided to go back to Xanga, and this is where I am now!

I think I am all caught up now. if i forgot anything I will come back and edit this.  Now I can start blogging normally again. :)

by the way if you have a blogger also I am also going to be updating that one as well.  (eternalstarryskies)

Cold Summer Fest

Anyway, so mainly today so far I have just been doing stuff on EP (Experience Project) and watching Phineas and Ferb. Nothing much has happened today so far. I think we are going to our local summer fest later. We usually go to Summer Fest every year and watch the parade and the fireworks. My birthday is in a few weeks on the 4th which means more parades and stuff. My birthday is on the 4th obviously as you have probably guessed. Some people think it is strange that I don't like my birthday being on Independence day. I just wish I could have a normal, quiet birthday with just a few friends. I actually did manage to have ONE on my 16th birthday, it was a blast.  I am an introvert, and like quiet places and don't like to be in large crowds for long amounts of time. I like peace and calm and balance.

I guess this is all for now. I will edit this later, or do another post if something else happens today.

EDIT;  Got back from summer fest a little bit ago.  They had a parade, earlier this evening. It was windy and cold which is weird since this is JUNE! Honestly, sometimes i think mother nature can't make up her mind, or somehow forgets that it is supposed to be HOT in June, not in the 50's and 60's. it really felt more like it was in the 40's to me seriously it was crazy. i didn't really watch the parade, I mostly was surfing on here. I took a few pictures with Instagram, but that was about it so far as watching. We were all pretty much freezing, and ended up not staying for too long before we went and decided to find a spot for the fireworks. We changed our mind when we realized it was probably too windy to have any fireworks. Instead of staying and freezing our bottoms off we decided to just head for the car since at that time fireworks looked very unlikely.

We went to go pick up my mom after we got to the car. We all had to walk 4 blocks to the car by the way. Anyway there was a lot of complaining and noise in the car, and a lot of waiting for my mom to get out of work. i was so glad when she finally got out and my nieces were separated and calmed down.

We decided to go back after this and check if there was going to be fireworks just in case. I was starting to get a headache and started to get over stimulated at this point and was feeling really irritated. We reached a local grocery store and decided that was a good enough place to watch the fireworks. i HAD to get out of the car and so i went into the store, completely ignoring the fireworks and bought a Sobe Lifewater, and a Snickers. I calmed down enough to feel like I could be in the car at least a few more minutes. By the time I got out the fireworks were just ending, I have had enough noise for tonight anyway so I didn't care. I just went back to the car and we went homs.

My dad made tacos after we got home, i just ate one just a few minutes ago. Now I am getting ready for bed.

I guess that is all for today!

Stuff I don't Need to Know

So Natalie has decided to declare war on the ants. I have tried to explain to her in more than one way that it is a lost cause. She is pretty much bent on trying to destroy every ant in the house. Every time she kills one or traps one she just HAS to broadcast it throughout the whole house. I have a major ant phobia so I would rather not know when they are around. When I was 5 years old I stepped on an ant hill and they crawled all over me, it was scary. I have hated ants ever since and I consider it a blessing in disguise that I have bad vision so I can't see ants and other bugs. I don't need to know if they are around unless if it is going to put my life in danger, and I don't want to know either. I'm hoping this is just a short phase Natalie is going through.

Earlier today I wrote a post that summarized everything that has been happening since last August so i wouldn't have to do it with individual posts. usually what I do is I write a post and make it look like it was always there with the proper day and time and everything. I figured that wasn't really necessary this time as long as people know what has been happening since I became inactive at blogging. I have done a few posts since last August, but not that many.  I am going to start posting regularly now, and will continue to do so if I can help it.

I have been watching Phineas and Ferb a lot the past few weeks, I find it relaxing. I especially like watching it with my nieces. I have been trying harder to decrease activities that make me feel bad, sad, or just negative in any way.  I have been a lot better spiritually as well since I have started doing this. I think I am starting to really understand the importance of God in my life. I think I have been ignoring him for too long. Since I have started reading the scriptures I have been more at peace and happy and my faith has increased both in myself and in God.

My nieces brought home some new goldfish tonight and they have been talking to them while I have been typing this. I think it is funny, they can do what they want though. I really don't know if the fish even understand anything they are saying or even know what is going on. Most likely they do not. They got the fish at the Summer fest that is going on today and tomorrow. I don't know if we are going to do anything tomorrow yet. I remember last year I used my Hipstamatic iphone app for the first time there.

I had a dream about Eric again last night, I don't dream about him very often anymore. I wish I would stop dreaming about him, it's not like we are going to see each other again. I don't think about him that much, but my sub consciousness seems to not want to let it go for some reason. Things like this are weird.

I bought some organic, all natural gummy bears from Good Earth yesterday, and also some Mango flavored Kefir (it's like a yogurt smoothie, and some cinnamon flavored xylitol gum.  I loved the gummy bears a lot they were great. I prefer them over the other ones any day.

Anyway, today has been a pretty good day all around. I really hope tomorrow is the same.

Anyway, I guess this is all for today I think. If I forgot anything I will add it tomorrow, I am a little tired so I might have.

Fast forward

I think I am all caught up now. if i forgot anything I will come back and edit this.  Now I can start blogging normally again. :)

Chapter 13

Sunday was pretty normal yesterday. I went to church. We talked a lot about the atonement.  Darik and Dylan were there, they are actually only going to be here for the next two weeks. I won't lie, saying goodbye to them is going to be a lot harder than it was when I had to say goodbye in the 11th grade. I honestly was kind of indifferent to it for the most part back then. I love having them around, and I have especially loved being able to be around Darik. I was never really able to be around him much in school way back. I am not sure if I am going to see either of them anymore after they leave. I guess if it's time for us to be separated I can deal with that. They know how I feel about it, I told Darik I was kind of anxious and kind of dreading it. I have some other thoughts on this subject, but I will wait until they actually leave to say more.

It was cloudy yesterday, and a little bit cold but it wasn't too bad. Things were fairly quiet yesterday. I went to bed kind of late Saturday night so I was pretty tired the whole day. I ended up falling asleep around 9:30pm yesterday evening and slept like a baby.

I didn't do much yesterday except watch stuff on Netflix, go to church, and comment on some stuff on my school website for an assignment. I am pretty much done with everything for this semester in school. I don't remember if i said anything about it on Saturday.

Today I had psychology. We started talking about chapter 13 in the book. The 13th chapter is the final chapter, and it is on social psychology. Needless to say I really had fun in sclass today learning about everything in more depth. I have always been interested in social psychology. I actually got to be an active part of today's class and I gave some examples of some things in the book. I gave some personal examples of Cognitive Dissonance (inner conflicts). The teacher really likes my examples I give. I have gotten along with my professor really well the whole semester. I have to say, I am sad that I only have 2 classes left for the semester.  Psychology is one of my favorite subjects, just above Astronomy it takes position as my number one favorite subject.

Speaking of Astronomy, I am actually going to be taking it next semester in the fall.

My institute classes were fun today. I don't really remember what we talked about in my Dating and Courtship class, but my teachings of the Living Prophets class talked about President Eyering's talks from general conference a couple of weeks ago.

After class my dad called me and came to pick me up. i went with im and my mom to the doctor's office to fix my mom's back. She was having trouble with some of her muscles and stuff. I stuck around in the office with her and just listened and watched. I have an interest in stuff like that. If I didn't have such bad vision I would have been a doctor.

After she was done there we went to this little old fashioned store that was really nearby. I really loved walking through it, they had a lot of stuff in there for such a small store. I ended up getting this mango, orange, banana, apple drink. My mom and dad got some other groceries. We liked the prices there so we went ahead and bought some stuff we needed.

Anyway, that has been my day so far. If anything else happens I will edit later.

Boring Saturdays

Boring Saturday. I have been just watching Buffy today, and catching up on Phineas and Ferb. I am seriously bummed out about school being over. I am probably going to be saying this for a few days. I know there is still a week left, but after that it is going to be so boring. I am going to have to seriously start making plans of some kind to keep that from happening. I'm sure I will think of something to do during summer vacation.

I have been thinking about working on my math skills over the summer. I will most likely do this, and keep studying my psychology book, and brush up on some English stuff I am a little rusty on. I am planning on taking an English class next semester in the fall. I am a little nervous right now, I won't lie. Even though it is 4 months away I can't help it. I just hope everything turns out alright for me.

I visited my friends in Destiny Online yesterday. It was really nice to spend some time there. I haven't been able to log in to the game in a while because of school and stuff.

Anyway, I really have nothing more to say today. It's still noon, but I seriously doubt anything else will happen today. If anything else does happen I will edit this again.

Irritation

So yesterday night Marcie told me she had to leave early for church today so I had to get another ride probably. I was pretty sure I could get a ride, I texted probably 5 or 6 different people. I got ready for church in the morning as usual, washed my hair and stuff. No one had answered (I asked in the morning). As a last resort after eating breakfast and everything I sent a text to Darik asking for a ride. I was a little skeptical if he would answer, a very big part of me hoped he would. I felt a little embarrassed for asking to be quite honest.

No one ended up answering and I was pretty irritated. I knew that Darik probably had a reason for not answering, he usually answers my texts when he can, so I wasn't irritated at him, but I WAS irritated at the other people.  I ended up getting a ride with my dad. He has church at the same time as me, just in a different ward and a different stake, so I try to avoid this as much as possible because I don't want to make him miss the sacrament ever.

I got to church a little early, we were combined in the first hour for sacrament meeting (Relief Society, and  Priesthood usually are separate). Part of me wished that Darik and Dylan weren't there because that would give them a good excuse for not answering my text. They never did show up at church this week. Darik sent me a text around the time Sunday school started the 2nd hour explaining that he had just got off a plane from a work trip and he said that he WOULD have taken me if he had been here. I was really extremely happy to know this and I was glad that he survived the plane trip as well. haha.

Anyway after church I got a ride with Marcie. I have been really happy today ever since Darik sent me that text, plus I was in the car with Marcie and that is always fun, she always makes me laugh.

Anyway after church nothing much happened, I just did stuff on the computer and relaxed because I finished my homework yesterday. I did watch Merlin a little with my family. I haven't started watching it myself yet, I plan on doing that this week.

Anyway, I guess this is all.
