Right before the moon fully eclipsed I decided to go upstairs and watch it with my ow eyes because I could hear people up there anyway. I grabbed my phone and my monocular and went upstairs. the live stream was still playing on my phone. I let Kayla and dad watch the live stream on my phone and we watched the moon with our own eyes as well through our large back window. Through my monocular the moon looked amazing! I've never actually watched a lunar eclipse so I didn't know what to expect when it eclipsed. I loved every minute and the reddish hue the moon got when it eclipsed was amazing. I think I'll look at the moon through my monocular more often from now on because I had a really great view! Anyway, after the shadow on the moon started to dissipate I went back downstairs and eventually fell asleep.
Today was the start of general conference and I had set an alarm, but accidentally turned it off and missed the first session of General Conference. I was disappointed, but decided to go and get lunch from Dairy Queen instead of sulking. I got my stuff ready and headed out. I got a bacon cheeseburger $5 lunch that comes with fries, a drink and a sundae or blizzard. If you get the blizzard you have to pay one extra dollar but it is worth it. After I got my lunch I headed back home and ate.
When conference came around I got on Twitter and started using my special LDS oriented account. I tweeted about conference while I was watching. I loved all of the talks and recommend you listen instead of me saying what they talked about. I wouldn't even know where to start anyway.
After conference I went for a walk and then took a short nap. The day so far had been super super good, but things got even better. Luck was on my side today and when I went upstairs after watching some car crash videos on youtube mom told me to go and tell Dylan that I could give him tickets to conference! I was sooo happy! I texted Dylan and after priesthood meeting he texted me back really happy and asked if he or Darik could come pick them up around 10:30pm. I said yes and because I was a total mess I went and got cleaned up and picked out some of my cutest clothes. If I'm not at the gym I always like to look my best around Darik and Dylan. After this I watched more videos and did some stargazing with Star walk on my phone. I also got to talk to Dylan a bit and he told me Darik was coming instead of him. I guess he was busy with friends or something, I didn't mind at all though. Darik is my favorite person in the world, so I was suuuuper happy. Around 11pm he showed up and got the tickets. Panda got out and was running around the yard and acting all hyper, but they got along. I loved seeing him so much and am glad we got to talk a little too. I've been really happy ever since. Anyway, so that is my day. Today was just too awesome and full of good things. My good fortune was at it's peak today!
