Bad Sunday Hair!

slept like a baby yesterday but always have a hard time getting up in the morning. I just like to lie there listening to the radio usually. Sunday’s are different. I had to get ready for church so i couldn’t do that.

After blow drying my bangs they wouldn’t behave at all. I usually have my mom do them. I have no clue how to do my own hair. I ave never really had anything to manage before I got bangs. I have long and straight hair and most of the time I was just happy brushing it out and leaving it that way or putting it up in a pony tail. I keep it back in a bandana now so my bangs aren’t always in my face all the time. I like them but I don’t like to keep them down all day.

Today is another rainy day *groan* I really don’t like it at all. Even worse the chapel was freezing and that did no bode well with me.

They talked about the story about Eli and Samuel today in church. That is one of the things i remember the most. It is a good story.I’ve never read the bible so thi was fairly new to me. I have a short attention span sometimes so I’ve probably heard it before but wasn’t paying attention last time.

Yeah so other than being tired and falling asleep for 10 minutes one time church was pretty good today.

I just had some jelly toast (strawberry) it was pretty great.

It’s my sister in laws birthday today. It seems we both have our birthday on sunday this year.  We are going to have dinner at her parents house. I’ll tell how it went when i get back.

Game Horrors

So I lost track of time and went to bed late yesterday after watching a movie. Well my sleep was great. I had this dream abut the game I play “Destiny Online”. Anyway, I had moved to another server or something and there were these really weird bosses that had just come out. The only one I can clearly remember was this sort of yellowish dragon, I think it was a dragon it might have been sort of like one of the bosses they really do have called “Hellhound”. Anyway so I was in what is the level 25 map on the game just walking around and there are all these people running around trying to kill these various bosses it was crazy. I ended up getting killed a few times because they were so powerful. There was this time during the dream when they re-spawned and they were nice, like they started out as babies, like the lower level map monsters that don’t try to kill you every time you get within less than 10 feet of them. Anyway so I knew that they were going to turn soon so I go sprinting for this portal that is near by and I’m sort of freaked out because they are all gathering close to me, probably curious. I start talking to the teleporter but it’s to late, they suddenly realize they want to kill me and I’m dead within a second ha ha.  Really strange dream, there were other parts as well but that is what I remember the clearest.

Anyway, Today was supposed to be tribe war, it starts at 7:00am my time and since I was up sort of late i was debating on weather or not to wake up that early and do it. I ended up not waking up that early though. I ended up just ignoring my alarm and going back to sleep. I decided I cared about my sleep more than the tribe war. I mean, they’re fun and all but it was cold and stuff and at the time I did not fel like getting out of bed ha ha. So I can’t really say I regret it.

Yeah, so I woke up at 10:45am but I just lied there in my bed with the music playing for about 30 minutes. I usually do that.

Movies and Nonsense...

So i decided to watch the Brave Little Toaster. Don’t know why, probably because i haven’t seen it since i was 4. ha ha. It was pretty interesting though, for a movie like it.

Speaking of movies I’m way hyped up for Toy Story 3 in a week. I want to get tickets so badly. I have loved Toy Story for YEARS! One of my best memories is having a sleepover with my sister Linda and Going to see Toy Story 2 when it was in theaters.

I made this chicken, cheese tortilla thing. It’s basically just chicken and cheese between 2 tortillas. You cut it like a pizza. I eat this whenever I have no clue to eat, or if I haven’t eaten very much. It’s really good if you warm it up in a pan, then the tortilla gets all crunchy its so good.

My sister and my mom were burning a bunch of old papers. There were a lot of them. Our house seems to be cluttered with paper all the time. It’s pretty crazy. I remember when I was in school I would have to throw away loads of paper every month it was insane.  Paper can make a real mess.

I really need to make my bed again, I somehow kicked the sheet off and not the blanket a couple of days ago it was weird.

Life and Toast...

I really hate it when the only thing i can think up for food is toast. I must have had at least 4 pieces of toast today. ><

I found this website called JAPANATOR, about everything anime, it’s basicly a great Otaku site. I was looking up articles about the end of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and i found it on accident.

I was on COLOURLovers for quite a while thinking up new palettes, patterns and colors. There was one palette of purple of green colors that I was trying to find the right pattern for but I never quite found one. I think I’ll look some more later because I really want to find a nice pattern to show off the colors.

You can almost call the way the weather feels right now early Fall.  It’s like a curse! I just want this cold weather to go away!

My mom has been cleaning out our pantry and organizing everything in it. I get my organizing skills from her I think. I have always liked to organize stuff. It’s like a natural talent I have.

I re-designed my twitter page. I havn’t updated in a mont though. Today was the first day i have updated for a long time.

I went onto DeviantART today, I like to visit this chat room though it’s not really like a chat room because people aren’t allowed to say anything. It’s called Idle RPG, it’s mainly run by bots, and random things, events, whatever happen the longer your on. I discovered it’s down today though which is sort of sad because it was interesting.

Gloomy Day Today...

So catching up where I left off. I found out that this pear of sweats that I like actually belong to my sister. It’s not big deal though I can just get another pair. I need to get more pants anyway.

It’s another gloomy day today. I wish this rain would go away for a couple of weeks. I think it has rained enough lately.

I was looking at the featured videos on youtube. Sometimes it has the dumbest things on there. I tend to lean away from the top videos because some of them are really quite idiotic.

In other news my brother is here doing something with the piano I don’t know what though.

I’ve been catching up on anime lately. I have a long way to go but I managed to catch up on Fullmetal Alchemist. I still have to watch the old version though that they made back in 2003. The new one is called Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. From what I remember from the old one that I watched a long time ago the new one is a lot better.

Another random thought. My sister was commenting on how spicy our salsa is. I actually don’t think it was that spicy at all. I don’t know why I just don’t think it’s that spicy. I don’t dislike it though I actually think it’s pretty good salsa. Better than that non-spicy stuff we were getting for a while. I mean isn’t salsa supposed to be hot? >.>

I accedentaly brought another glass of apple juice downstairs when I already had a cup down here already. That is the second time I have done that this week. At least it’s not full of apple juice like it was last time ha ha.

Cinderella

So i decided to watch Roger’s and Hamersteins Cinderella. The one with Brandy, not the cartoon one or one of the old ones. I love the version that has Brandy play Cinderella she plays the role so well!

I was talking to people on Destiny Online while i was doing this. It is sort of late right now. I should be in bed but I lost track of time and started watching the movie ha ha.

Anyway. I guess that concludes the end of this day.  It’s time for dreamland

Caserole...

So I now know what we are having for dinner tonight. Chicken broccoli casserole is a regular occurrence around my house. I love it a lot though. It’s exactly what it sounds like. There is cheese and stuff in it too though. It’s really great

I just realized that my music has stopped. It might have been that way for about an hour now. I usually am to distracted to notice sometimes. ha ha.

I also have the hiccups right now and am holding my breath to try and get them to go away ><.

Raining a lot

It’s raining today, I’m not surprised though. It has been raining a lot lately. I’ve been just doing stuff at home. I made some new stuff on ColourLovers.com, and surfed some stuff with the stumbleupon toolbar. I made sure it was colorful stuff to compensate for now dull the rain makes me feel. I don’t mind rain in the summer when it’s hot but the hot weather has not come yet. It is still a bit cold when it rains currently. Cold and rain = depressing, so i drown myself in colorful things when it is like this.

I tend to like to listen to fast paced music as well when it is like this. Listening to the J-pop station on AOL radio. it plays some pretty good stuff.

My dad is doing something with chicken, i have no idea what though.

May Happenings

So all this stuff happened in May. 

My sister and my best friend had a birthday on the same day. I ended up doing stuff with my family instead though. She understood. This was around May 17th. 

Two of my friends got home from their LDS mission, they are twins. I have known them for 10 years. They're really cool guys. 

Another missionary friend of mine got permission to make a facebook. This made me very happy. Though the rules say we can't talk to each other while he is still serving. I am still happy and feel closer to him now. 

A lot of rain, and the warm weather has taken forever to get here.  It even snowed sometime around June. 

Haven't gotten much time to run or Jog lately since it has been sort of weird weather wise, and a lot of rain has been falling.  

After I got my new computer I started playing Destiny Online again and got re aquainted with my friends again. I am now semi-active on the game again though I don't spend nearly as much time on it as I used to including I actually turn my computer off when I sleep instead of just leaving the game on all night like I used to. 



I am probably blanking some stuff out but I think that is all.

running!

So last Monday I went to our local track to test where I was so far as what shape I am in right now. It was torture and really sucked. I am so out of shape after winter. I'm looking forward to getting back into shape again and hopefully this time it will stay. I have been lazy about my exercise for a while and my eating habits. I have applied for SSI so hopefully I will get excepted with all my vision problems and stuff. I'll be able to buy my own food hopefully sometime. That is one of the biggest problems is that a lot of food in my house is not very good most of the time or people eat the good stuff and don't leave any for me. Another factor in this is that I am absolutely brainless when it comes to thinking up stuff to eat. That has a lot to do with my weight gain. I have to fix this somehow. I might try these shakes I was on in the 8th grade again. It worked last time very good. 

Yeah so anyway I used to run in the 10th grade but my biology class and stuff totaly overloaded me and I ended up quitting the running class. I used to jog on occasion but i have majorly slacked off lately.  It really sucks. I want to be skinny and have lots of energy. 

I'm going to have one heck of a time getting back into shape. it should be interesting. I'll make sure I'll write about it.

Emergency Post!

So long story short. We tried to fix my computer today and ended up breaking it in the process. So now i have no computer and it sucks. I can't promise that I will be here every day or even every week now. I will post as often as I can though. I am used to having complete privacy when I surf but now that I do not have that and other people are using the computer I am using I will not use it as often. Privacy and customization are a big thing for me.  I had my computer customized the way I wanted it but i can't do that with this one. I really hate it.

Anyway. Just letting you know. 

UPDATE!
So a few hours ago my dad bought a new computer. I am getting one of the extra computers now. The computer I am getting is a lot better than my old one was so I am SO happy. And now i wont have to miss a day of Xanga which is great!

So this turned into a good thing!

Borrowing Money and my Dislike for it!

Well I've never really liked borrowing money in the first place. Even online in a game. it's just not in my nature to ask for something that I could earn on my own unless if I need it right then, or very soon and it is not likely that i will be able to get it on my own.

My real dislike for borrowing money happened when I was coming back from a choir trip in my last year of High school. 

My choir had gone to Disneyland to perform and stuff. Anyway on our way back we stopped to eat. I misjudged the cost of the place I was staying at. I thought I had calculated it all just right and I had enough money but I was short one dollar turns out. Or a little more than that, wasn't a big deal to me at the time but i had to borrow from someone that was on a date with his girlfriend and the restaurant screwed up a little bit and somehow i ended up paying a little bit more than that, like not to much, I can't remember what it was but it really ticked the guy off. I apologized and quietly exited the restaurant and got back into the bus feeling quite embarrassed that I had interrupted their date. 

Anyway so now i have an even bigger dislike for borrowing money than I did before. It is 100 times more miserable for me now. I've had to borrow silver from people in a game I play a few times. I had to pay them back somehow in the end. Even that I hate a lot. I hate having to pay people back.

I guess that is another reason why I hate it. I always feel like I have to give something back to the other person. I'm not good at that kind of thing.

I Was On Jay Leno

So this happened almost 2 weeks ago.  I just copied this from my journal. Enjoy!

April 19th

So today was crazy. I had to wake up at 5am to get ready to go on the plane. I’m glad I packed the night before. I ended up going to bed at midnight. I guess that is a good enough amount of sleep. anyway so i had to get up and take a shower first. I had to be sort of quick about it.  After that i made sure that I had everything together. We had to go soon after that. We went in 2 cars. I ate 3 crackers and some water before I left because i get car sick on an empty stomach. it took us about 45 minutes to get to the airport.

I’ve been to the airport but I’ve never been on a plane before until today. It was interesting. We printed out our ticket info and went through security. I had to put my jacket, shoes, and purse into a bin and send it through this machine. Then i had to walk through the metal detector. After we were finished with that we went towards our gate. We went to krispy Kream on the way. They had one in the airport. We got about a half a dozen donuts and some juice. I was with my sister and her kids at this point We were still waiting for everyone else to get through luggage checkout and stuff.  We stopped for a few minutes so my sister could call someone. Then we found our gate.

We nearly got lost doing this, Our airport is very big.

We just waited for then to say we could board at this point, and finished the donuts.

We boarded the plane after about 10 minutes. They messed up my mom’s name on her ticket a little so they had to search her and stuff a little longer. She and the others made it though.  I sat next to the window on the plane. The plane was pretty small, it was comfortable though. I just read most of the time and stared out of the window. We were right next to the left wing of the plane. The only thing that I didn’t like is that the sun reflected off of the wing and so I had to be careful which angle I looked out of the window. I loved the view. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve never been that high before it was very cool. I’ve always wanted to go on a plane but never got to. The clouds and everything were amazing. The flight attendant came by at the beginning with juice and stuff. It was free stuff, it was pretty good and the flight attendant was pretty nice.

We were on the plane for about an hour and a half. We touched down at about 8:30am in Burbank California.  We got off the plane and found our luggage. The weather was clear and sunny. We had an Enterprize shuttle pick us up and take us to the car rental place. We had rented 2 cars before we did this at the airport.  When we got there we loaded our two silver vans. There was 9 of us so we had to have 2 cars. The vans were really nice Dodge Caravans. They were very nice and comfortable.

After we got all the stuff into our cars we drove to the hotel. We found out they weren’t ready for us yet so we went out to Wendy’s to eat. I got a spicy chicken sandwich with some fries, and a Sprite.  After this we went to my sister’s house for a few minutes. She gave us some late Easter baskets. My sister has a cat at her house and I started to have trouble breathing not to long after I entered the house.  It was still nice seeing her, very nice.

We are going to be singing back up for Jay Leno on the 20th of April, that’s tomorrow. We had to go rehearse with the Smashing Pumpkins after we made a brief visit to my sister’s apartment.  We went to this studio place and learned our parts and stuff. We accidentaly went into the wrong studio the first time.  We got to the right studio though.  They gave us earplugs so we wouldn’t have to hear the full sound of the band. It was pretty loud. It was pretty cool, we all had a lot of fun. We weren’t perfect at first, quite the opposite, but we got it to be sort of good by the end of the rehearsal.  After this we went to check into our hotel. There was a slight hold up because they had no record of us ordering rooms, we got that taken care of and straightened everything out though.  Eventualy we got up to our rooms.

We were expecting our rooms to have bigger beds, but they only had full sized beds. I was going to sleep with my mom and my brother was going to share with my dad but we changed plans after this and I moved to my sister’s room.  There were just my niece’s and my sister in that room. I shared a bed with one and she shared a bed with my other niece.  We got unpacked and stuff and then went out.

We went to this place called “Trader Joes”. It’s this health food store. We went shopping for dinner. We got some pretty good stuff.  After that we went to my sister’s again. She was with us the whole time by the way.  So anyway, we went back to her apartment and just hung out and watched TV and made dinner. It wasn’t fun for me very much. As much as I loved being there I was having bad allergies and was having trouble breathing.  It was still pretty cool though. We watched the TLC channel while making dinner. I had to go outside a few times because of my allergies. I was just playing with the pine needles on the trees outside and trying to make random stuff.

We had stir fry and pasta for dinner, it was pretty great. We just hung out after that. We did practice the song for a while later. I had been coughing a lot cause of my lack of air. My voice was sort of gone and i couldn’t breathe very well so I had a lot harder time singing than at the rehearsal earlier.

My niece’s fell alseep on the floor while we were rehearsing. They were so tired.

We went back to our hotel after this, watched TV and went to bed.

April 20th

So yesterday night was sort of crazy. I didn’t think that sleeping in the same bed with my niece would really be that difficult but it was. Apparently she is like me and likes to move around a lot. On top of that she is very hot. I ended up not sleeping with my covers for part of the night for this reason. I was way to over heated.  I actualy gave up part of the night and slept on the floor because she kept on moving around a lot and stuff.  I eventualy got back on the bed though and slept well.

I had to get up at 7am to take a shower, and get moderately ready to go to the NBC studio where they taped Jay Leno. We packed all the stuff we needed to take with us like clothes we were going to wear and then we left for the studio.

The NBC studio was fairly close to the hotel I was a bit surprised.  We got the gates mixed up for a bit and accidentaly tried to go into the wrong one. We turned around and found the right one though. It was NBC studio 11 we went to. When we got to the gate we gave the guard our ID’s and he varified us and let us through. We were each given a visitor’s pass as well.  We parked and then went inside.  There was a person at the front desk and he asked us our names and stuff and we showed him our visitor’s passes and he sent us into the dressing rooms. He gave us stickers to show we were a part of the tonight show first though. we stuck those on our shirts (i’ll take pictures later).

We were directed to our dressing rooms. There was one for my sister and my nieces and there was one for my other family members.  The rooms were very nice! They had nice furnishings and they gave us a plate of truit and bagels and rolls they were pretty yummy.

After we got un-packed and our clothes set out and stuff, we went into the studio and practiced a bit by ourselves backstage. Then they called us up and we went through once.  We were pretty good.  We talked a little bit with eachother after wards. The studio was a lot bigger than I was expecting it to be. I was really quite surprised. It was awesome though.

After this we went back to our dressing rooms and got ready. We got dressed first. we were all wearing blue, and the girls were also wearing white and the boys were wearing black pants and stuff.  We took this time to rehearse the song, and the parts we were singing.  They pulled us out a few at a time to do hair and makeup. I just had my hair down at this point. I went to the hair guy first. I just told him to sweep my bangs to the right side and to just do whatever e wanted to do with all my hair. He ended up putting it up in this really cool bun thing. I had like 35 pins in my hair it was crazy but awesome! My hair looked fabulous!! After that I just waited for my turn t do makeup.

The woman that did my makeup was really great at it. I really liked the black macara she put on my eyes and the foundation and stuff she put on my face, it all fent and looked very nice. She fixed up my eybrows and stuff too it was really cool! I’ll have pictures of all this stuff sometime soon. My dad said that when he went into the the hair and makeup room that Jay Leno was having his hair done as well.

I watched them do my family’s hair and makeup for a while and then went back to my dressing room

we just practiced for the rest of the time until they go to our turn to be on the show and tape. Then we did the final taping, it went decently well. I was satisfied with the way I sang.  The stage was really cool. Meeting Jay Leno in person was also cool.  I wasn’t nervous at all.

We hung out at our dressing room for a few minutes, packed our clothes and things and then talked to some people afterward.

We just hung out there for a while and took pictures and stuff it was neat.  Then we went to dinner with Billy Corgan (oh by the way my sister is friend’s with him and she was also the keyboardist when we were doing the performance.  She is the one that got us on the show.

Anyway, so we went to dinner with Billy Corgan. We took some pictures with him before we went in.  We went to this great place called “The Good Earth”. The food there was really great. I got a lemonade and Orange chicken pasta and cream of brocoli soup. It was amazing. I drank so much lemonade there.  When I first got to the resteraunt they kept on moing me to different spots it was funny. I eventualy just sat at the end. There was a lot of us there.

Anyway so we were there for a while just eating and talking. I was daydreaming and being quiet as usual.

After that we decided that we would go back to the hotel and watch some TV. It was there that we parted ways with billy and the other people and went back to our hotel. We just hung out and watched American Idol and Glee and ate our treats that we got in the easter baskets from my sister.

It was pretty fun, my sister came over and we just mainly just hung out.  I fell alseep until we were on TV a few hours later after Glee and American Idol was done.  I just sort of dozed off, sort of waking up here and there to check of we were on yet.

I think we looked fine on TV and sounded good. While I know we could have done better it was still great.

We went to bed after that. we were all pretty tired.

April 21st

So by the time I woke up today yesterdays events seemed like a dream. My sister woke me up at 5am to get ready to leave and go back to Utah. I had already packed the night before right when we got back to our hotel.   I felt like a zombie when I woke up, much like the yesterday morning. I did not feel quite as bad though. My allergies had subsided a little, and I could breathe more normally now than the past 2 days.  Being allergic to my sister’s apartment really sucks. I’m really allergic to her cat. I started not being able to breathe as well from the moment I came in there.

Anyway, my family and I had said goodbye to my sister the night before. It was fun hanging out at our hotel.

Anyway so we cleaned up the rest of our stuff, finished our drinks that my sister had given us when we got to her house and then went down and put all our luggage into our two vans and checked out of the hotel. I was sort of sad to leave but I knew that when I came home my allergies would dissappear.

It was cloudy today when we left and it loked like it was going to rain, in fact you could feel a little droplet of water here and there.

So at this point we drove to the Enterprize Car rental place and brought back our cars. We had to wait a few minutes and then we rode one of their shuttles to the airport.  We gave them our luggage and printed our tickets. We went through the metal detector, had to remove our shoes, jacket, and purse and put them in a bin so they wouldn’t set the detector off. I had forgotten that my blue and silver bracelets were made of metal so i had to go back and put them through again.

At this point we just walked to the waiting area for our turn to board the plane. It was about 10 minutes and then we got on the plane.

I was not seated next to the wing of the plane this time and I was very glad about this because there was nothing blocking my view this time.  It was about 10 minutes and then they took off. It looked cooler this time. The clouds were really nice and the scenery was nice as well. I have allways wanted to see what it was like to be above the clouds it was very cool.  We went throug the same thing as last time. The flight attendant brought me juice and peanuts and I just sat there staring out of the window at the scene below me. There was a few times when the sky below me was just covered in clouds and it made it look like we were flying above  a white sea or something. It was truly amazing.

I dozed off about 40 minutes into the plane ride and woke up when we started to make our decent into the Salt Lake City airport. We got there early and had to wait a half an hour before a gate was available. I just fell asleep during this time again and woke up when we got off.

After that we just went and got our luggage. It was cloudy and breezy outside and the weather was slightly chilly.

After we got our luggage we caught a shuttle to the parking lot where are cars were. It started to rain not long after this, not a lot though. I went in my brothers car, it took us about 40 minutes to get home. It was weird being back home when I got there.

I turned on my computer as soon as I got into my room and then went upstairs to find a granola bar.

I just mainly spent the rest of the day playing the computer, sleeping more and reading.
