Diamond Rose

I was hit with inspiration yesterday and felt like creating a poem about Cara (Darik's wife). She really is someone you would expect to read about in some pretty song or poem. She is beautiful inside and out. I showed this poem to her and both she and Darik loved it.

Anyway, so today I just made a brief trip to the mall and took the bus to Macey's grocery store to pick up an application and get a chocolate vanilla ice cream cone. Later Laura made chicken and cheese enchiladas. She also made lemon bars, but they aren't done quite yet. I'm planning on filling out the applications I got today and also finishing the ones online. I'll turn the ones that have physical copies in on Monday.

Cinnamon & Chai

I woke up at 9 and decided I didn't feel like doing morning cardio. I put on my Canada sweatshirt that I found yesterday and ate an orange. While I was checking my email today I saw I had a free drink from Starbucks! I decided to forgo breakfast because I knew I was going to have a short gap between when I left for institute and when I ate and I wanted to save the calories for Starbucks.

I didn't feel like bringing my backpack today, so I just grabbed my gym padlock, phone ear buds, charger and put them in the big pocket that my hoodie has.

I rode the bus to the mall, it was around 10:30am by this time. I went to See's Candies and bought some peppermint candy. I went to institute after walking around for a little bit. We had KFC pot pie for lunch today. I brought mine to class where we talked about psalms. I slipped choir later just to see how I feel about it and make sure I want to drop it.

I headed off to the mall where I headed straight for Starbucks and got a free large Chai Cream Frappuccino with cinnamon. It was amazing on so many levels.

I headed over to The Body Shop and hung out there for a while looking at the items and talking to the staff while I drank my drink.

I did a lot of job searching after this. I went through the whole mall and asked every one of the stores if they were hiring. I got 5 or 6 paper applications and the rest I'm doing online. It was fun going through all the stores again. I am excited to turn all my applications in.

The rest of the day I was at the gym. I took my phone and charger and let my phone charge until around 6pm. I spent the rest of the night doing cardio, lifting weights, visiting the sauna and I even saw Darik while I was doing sit-ups. I was picked up by mom and dad around 10:30. I burned over 800 calories today!

Oh Canada

Mom was cleaning out the coat closet when she found this awesome hoodie. I fell in love with it and I've been wearing it all day. It's been pretty boring today. The only interesting part of the day didn't happen until around 7pm.

There was a church activity where we had dinner from Zupas, did a getting to know you activity, and talked about the Book of Mormon. We also started reading it together and got new books. Here is a picture of the dinner. I chose the strawberry raspberry salad with raspberry vinaigrette, potato chips, a ham sandwich and a chocolate strawberry (not pictured).

I got a separate picture of the chocolate strawberries.

There were things all over the walls that had our baby picture and 5 facts about us on them. For the getting to know you activity we took turns standing in front our info and we had people that asked us about ourselves. We rotated and did one wall at a time. I was the first wall and got to rotate through 3 different people and learned about other people later when I visited their walls. It was a little hard to talk so much, but I got through it!

The rest of the day before this isn't really important. I did play a lot of trivia crack though!

Trippy Rainbow Surprises

I had chicken, an orange and milk for breakfast. I know that is very bizarre, but I didn't feel like a protein shake.

I went to the gym, did my cardio and then left.

Today the institute was giving out free pancakes and syrup. They were simple, but good pancakes. We talked about the book of Job in the Old Testament today, and I accidentally fell asleep in class. Good thing I already know the material. In choir I thought about leaving the class, but stayed for at least the whole class period because I need to make sure very carefully I want to drop. I sang for part of the class, and just watched the rest.

After this I went to the mall and then to Starbucks. I got a white hot chocolate frappuccino with carmel and a grilled cheese sandwich. Later I thought about getting a new drain plug. from Lowe's or Home Depot, but ended up getting sidetracked and headed to Michael's where I looked around for a while. I found these really cool balls.

I changed my mind about the drain plug and went back to the mall where I bought a new water bottle from Sports Authority.

I called mom and she gave me a ride home. I took a nap when I got home and woke up to a chicken pot pie Laura had cooked for me. I just spent the rest of the night cleaning my room, watching anime and listening to music. Nothing more to write, I'm so tired...

Chocolate Vanilla Cinnamon

I decided on Sunday that I don't need to wake up so early every day. I don't catch the bus to institute until around 11pm. On mondays I've started waking up at 9:30, and on Tuesday's and Thursdays I wake up around 8:30 instead of 7:30. I woke up at 9:30am today and did my protein shake. I didn't leave for the gym until around 10am. I caught the 10:20am bus and arrived at the mall around 10:30. I walked around the mall for 10 minutes and then went to the gym and did my usual cardio. I actually managed to run into Dylan, or at least I think it was Dylan. I wasn't paying very much attention to be honest. He was doing something on the TRX straps and I was headed to the eliptical at the time.

I went around the mall as usual, but more specifically I made a trip to The Body Shop, one of my favorite shops in the mall. I want to work there possibly, the staff know me pretty well. I haven't been in there for a while because I always want to buy stuff and I didn't want to get distracted or get the employees hopes up that I was going to buy something.

I went to starbucks after looking at the mango items at The Body shop. I ordered a Chocolate, Vanilla, cinnamon frappuccino. It was amazing and tasted like heaven.

After I was done at the mall I headed home on the bus and hot off at Harmon's. At FHE (family home evening) we were going to play games and eat brownies. I decided I wanted to get more snacks for this fun activity so I got some pretzel sticks, cheese its, and 4 different things of Lays Stax. I got regular, cheese, sour cream and onion, and buffalo wings with ranch. the last one was the most bizarre. I called dad and he picked me up after I was done.

When I got home I watched Naruto and played games like trivia crack on my phone until FHE.

At FHE we had 3 different stations. I brought my snacks and someone brought brownies as expected. Some people played Super Smash Bros, some people did dancing games, and some people did tennis and bowling on the wii. I did bowling, but mostly just hung around and talked to people and ate snacks. We were a little worried that no one would show up, but they just all showed up late as usual. My snacks were a hit as I thought they would be. When I got home all I had left were some Cheeze its. We had Parmesan chicken for dinner and sweet potatoes. I fell asleep after I ate and just woke up a few minutes ago. I figured I should get this done before I go back to sleep. it's almost midnight.

I Can't Think of a Title... sfldiwjijksxmlsiw;xcxmkwiie

On Saturday I watched Naruto and went to Costco to get samples. I noticed that there was a lot of focus on sausage, hotdogs and burritos. There was also a sample of my favorite cranberry and cranberry cherry juice though! There weren't as many samples as we thought there would be. I went with Laura and Natalie. Some of my favorites were the juice, the cinnamon roll sample, the chicken wings that came in 3 different flavors, the sausages, and the mozzarella sticks. The chicken wings were really spicy and messy, but they were great. We just went home and I played games on my phone and watched anime all day. Later we had chicken and veggies for dinner.

Today marks a full month of blog posts. I haven't blogged for a whole month straight in a long time, if ever. I wore my new Sunday clothes to church today. Today was fast Sunday, but I went ahead and ate an orange so I wouldn't get carsick on the way to church. Here is a picture of my new clothes.

It was actually warm inside the church building for once today. I didn't have to keep my coat on. We talked about Nicodemus today in Sunday school. I don't remember much about church today. We also had a testimony meeting though. I always enjoy testimony meetings, but sadly I didn't go up today.

Anyway so after church I had chips and guacamole, more oranges, chicken, and for dinner later we had meat, cheese, and veggies in tortilla pockets. There were different ones with just broccoli and cheese. I took a loooong nap after I ate and actually just woke up 10 minutes ago. The rest of what happened today isn't interesting.. I did have a weird nap dream about getting ice cream after hours at the store. Apparently the employees were having a party and came out and gave me free ice cream just because I was there. Oh yeah, and I remember Darik and Dylan were in my dream too at some point. Oddly enough they were singing in a choir. I think it was a one time thing. I remember seeing them in a snapchat with their friends as well. I also remember riding the bus in my dream, it was so random. If I remember any more I'll tell about it in a later post.I feel the memories of the dream coming back, but it'll take time I think.

All Over Town

Today was a long day. I got up around 8am and decided to get my bus pass from the Vocational Rehab office. I didn't even eat breakfast before I left. Mom was heading out the door to go to work and gave me a ride to the bus stop even though it's really close. I rode to the transit center and waited for the 850 that goes up to the Vocational Rehab office. It looked like it had just rained, the ground was wet and I was glad it had stopped because I was out there for a good 15 minutes waiting for the bus.

There is a new temple being built in Provo and it's right across the street from the street the office is on. You can still see that the exterior still looks a lot like the old tabernacle that burned down 4 years ago. In case you didn't know, it used to be a tabernacle and my parents performed a few times inside of it in a different choir. In 2010 there was a fire, but they decided to preserve the exterior and turn the interior into a new temple. I imagine the exterior will have SOME changes, but it'll still look like the former tabernacle in a lot of ways. I have pictures of the fire, but I'm not sure if I ever posted them to my blog. If I did I'll find the post and put the link here. It happened December 2010, I'll have to take a look at those blog posts.

I went to the Vocational rehab office and asked if they had my bus pass. The person at the front desk looked, but couldn't find it and she asked my councilor if she knew where t was. Judy said she would find it, but she was busy with someoneelse o I had to wait for 10 or 15 minutes. Eventually she remembered that it was already mailed out to me and that I'd get it either today or tomorrow. I was more amused than annoyed at this. I left after that and caught the bus back to the transit center.

I was really hungry, so I decided to visit the new grilled cheese place in the mall. Melty Way is great, I've been there three or four times.I was apparently the first one there around 10:45, the mall opens at 10, so I'm not surprised. I ordered a grilled ham, egg and cheese sandwich, and it came with a Caesar Salad, potato chips, and a Dr. Pepper. I sat and ate my breakfast and then headed off to do some dress and skirt shopping for Sunday. Here is a picture of the food I got.

I've been wearing the same skirt to church every week for a couple of years now. I guess I was just too lazy to go shopping for new Sunday clothes, or didn't really feel like it for a long time. Now that I have been going out a lot more though my interest in clothes has increased and I feel like I care about what I wear more. I try not to care too much, because I am a no hassle kind of person and don't like to waste money or time on anything that isn't really important. I don't really wear makeup or do my hair in any fancy way. I've always been really bad at such things and don't know much about either. One of the most frustrating things to me is trying to do my hair. Even when I go to the hair salon I have trouble deciding what to do with it. Most of the stuff I decide on I get from Google and magazines.

I went to Deb, Forever 21, Macy's, Papaya, H&M, Downeast Outfitters, and Dress Barn. I found a few dresses at Deb, and H&M that I liked, but none of them worked out. There was a couple that were black, one had pink roses, and one had orange roses. One had lace sleeves and the other had sleeves, but a lace back. Two others ere strapless, I actually didn't notice this until I tried them on and saw the things I thought were straps were actually just things that could help keep them on the hangers. Those dresses had a lot of multi colored flowers on an aqua background. Well, actually I think one of the dresses had a different colored background, but I tried so many dresses and skirts on today that I blanked it out. I know I probably tried on like 6 or 7 different dresses at Deb alone. I think there was a black dress with a salmon, aqua, white and orange design on it, and a white dress as well. I came out the store empty handed as expected. I am really picky about what I wear. The dresses at H&M I liked didn't work out as well. There was a black and blue strapped dress and a hot pink one I tried, but they were too small and didn't look good on me anyway.

After looking around the shops for a couple of hours I decided to go to Starbucks because I had put more money on my card today. I got a cinnamon hot chocolate and it was great. After sitting at the long table they have there and looking at all their food items, I left and went back to the mall, sat down on one of the benches and finished my drink.

I went around the mall a bit more and then decided to ride the bus to walmart. I We have two around where I live, one by school and one in the exact opposite direction from the mall that school is. I tend to like the clothes at the farther one, so I went ahead and took the 25 minute bus ride up to that Walmart. I ended up not finding any dresses or skirts that were worth it, but I DID find my next three tank tops I want to buy and some other workout clothes. I'll tell you more about those when I actually buy them though. Anyway, so I was going to get a ride home, but I decided to just take the bus again back in the direction of the mall. I had called my mom to see if she could give me a ride, but she was on her way to another shift at work and told me I should try dad. I changed my mind and decided I didn't want to go home right then after all.

I decided to go to Cafe Rio, but when I got there I changed my mind and and went to the nearby Jamba Juice instead where I got a Mango Peach energy bowl.

I walked to Savers after this which was really close (almost next door) and that was my final stop tonight. I was there for about 2 or 3 hours maybe. I lost track of time, so I'm not sure now. I looked through all the dresses, skirts and shirts. Some of the dresses I picked were strapped so I had to find shirts to go underneath at least 2 of them. I don't feel any need to describe every one of the ones I tried on, but here are the ones I ended up with. If I feel like it after my day on on Saturday, on Sunday I'll tell you about more of the stuff I saw. None of the dresses I tried on worked out, but I picked out a white and a black skirt and a really cool shirt.

There was one dress that I really liked, it was strapped and had a lot of pastel colors. it didn't fit me though. That one was probably the biggest disappointment of the night. I would have taken pictures of the items, but my phones battery was low and I didn't bring my charger today. There was one other blue shirt that I was going to buy with a cool sparkly sings design, but I decided that if it is there still in a couple of week that I will get it then. Anyway, so I called dad when I was done and he sent Laura to come and get me.

I watched anime and had a toasted cheese and tuna sandwich for dinner. the rest isn't important.

Pizza Madness

Just as I predicted I eliminated the games Pharao's Fire and Pharaoh's Way from my phone. I ran out of coins and it just became boring. I have tried playing slots one other time and the same thing happened. These two times aren't the only time I've played slots, there was a slot machine game on our old Window's 95 computer a long time ago and one in one in one of my favorite games called Ken's labyrinth had one where you could win food, drinks and power-ups to restore your health and fight monsters. I really thank God that I have never been able to become addicted to any game before. I don't plan on ever playing a slots game ever again unless if it's the daily Bejeweled Blitz spin on facebook and my iPhone.

I did an hour of cardio at the gym today, and had a protein shake and a banana for breakfast again. Today I was prepaired for a lot of calories. I managed to take the correct route to school this time. I mentioned that they were giving out pizzza at institute this week I think. I had a slice of pizza in both classes. After my choir class we were told to go into gym where there was a table with pizza on it. We were all confused when there was no pizza on the table when we went in. Turns out that we forgot to get it from the kitchen and we all laughed when the teacher recognized this. Anyway, in Old Testament, before this I managed to get the last piece of pizza. I also had gotten 2 hotdogs, that is what they were making for Lunch Bunch at Institute today. I got 2 hotdogs, a bag of ranch Doritos, a Capri Sun, and then I headed off to class.

Today I decided I didn't want just a digital Starbucks card, so I got an actual one. The old digital one on my phone didn't really have anything on it, so I just added the new one and delete the old one. I put $5 on it today as a starter. I'm planning on using it tomorrow for the first time when I go out shopping for new Sunday clothes and reload the card with more money.

Tonight we had spaghetti with shell pasta. I'm not sure if it can be called spaghetti without the long noodles, but I'm not sure. We also had broccoli with cheese sauce. On, from yesterday I forgot to mention we had brownies.

Anyway, I started watching Naruto again. I figure since the anime is ending soon now is a good time to start watching it again. That way I can just watch it through to the end. I know what happened in the manga, but it's different when you are actually watching it happen in the anime.

I think this is all for now. Here is a bonus video since nothing much happened today. I think you will love this song. It's called "The Garden of Everything". It has some of the best vocals I've ever heard.

Stupid Slot Games and BATTLING ZOMBIES

Heya everyone! Nothing much to talk about today. Last night I was trying to earn points on Swagbucks and they had me download this weird app called Pharao's Fire. It was a slots app and I decided to take it for a spin. I decided since I wasn't going to do anything today I would play it for a while. I ended up playing for an hour and a half before I had enough. I wasn't really interested in the slots aspect, mainly just the relic pieces of different historic relics you can find by playing. Anyway there is a ZERO PERCENT CHANCE I'll keep this game beyond 2 days. I know how these things work, you run out of tokens and you either have to waste your time working from the bottom up using your daily bonus tokens, or you buy them. I'm doing neither, so it won't last for me. I do like the historical aspects and I even downloaded the previous slots game called Pharao's Way, but this is just temporairy. Plus, I just don't have the mentality to get addicted to any game, not even tetris. I love tetris, but I try not to play TOO much or I get burned out.

Anyway, I've just been hanging around today. Here is an interesting video from my favorite anime One Piece. IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE ONE PIECE ANIME BUT ARE GOING TO DON'T WATCH THIS. MAJOR ONE PIECE ANIME SPOILERS AHEAD!

Self Control

I got up at 7:30am today and just lied there for 10 minutes deciding whether or not I wanted to go back to sleep. I really didn't want to get out of bed. I finally decided that I was better off just waking up because I had institute today, and if I took the bus to the mall and went to the gym I could work out and I would be able to take the shorter bus route to UVU from the mall. After last weeks bus car sickness I decided that this is probably better. Sure I have to take 2 bus rides instead of one straight to school, but I am doing something in between so getting nausea is a lot less likely AND I don't have to be on the bus for 25 to 30 minutes. I usually don't get carsick unless my stomach is empty, but sometimes on the bus that isn't the case.

Anyway, so I got up and ate a protein shake and a banana. I got my stuff together and walked to the bus stop. Mom just happened to be driving by when I was waiting and she gave me a ride to the gym. I felt pretty darn good and did about an hour of cardio with some breaks in between each machine I used. Withe the remaining hour I had around 10 I just walked around the mall and then walked to the bus stop and waited.

When I got to institute I was looking forward to the lunch they have every Tuesday and Thursday, but they are having some kind of event and are doing to on different days this week. I was disappointed and headed straight for the main school campus. to possibly buy something. I was going to go buy a fruit and nut bar, but on the way I saw that some people were giving out free pizza! I grabbed a slice, now being a little late for my Old Testament class I headed back to Institute. After class is when I messed up and gave into another slice of pizza. I told myself I'd have a little self control, but I did the exact opposite. I might as well just go ahead and mention now that Iate two cupcakes later when I got home. I still have a lot to work on because I've been compromising a lot since the holidays and I need to stop this.

Anyway, I'm super tired, I don't know what I'll do tomorrow, but I'll probably sleep in... I can't think of anything else I need to mention right now. If I forgot anything I'll write about it in a later post.

It's a Not So Mad Monday... Maybe

Let's see highlights from the afternoon include me sleeping in until 1:30pm, eating a cinnamon roll that had apparently been in the freezer for a month, watching a couple episodes of Naruto, and randomly deciding to join Swag Bucks. Swag Bucks is a site where you can earn points to use for gift cards and shopping and stuff. I don't have much of an opinion on it yet. Anyway more interesting stuff happened in the last couple of hours. I'm saving the best for last... Haha.

Natalie (my niece) had a school assignment today where she had to cook the family dinner for the foods class she is in. She decided to make baked macaroni and cheese. I think Laura helped her in some spots, but she mostly did it herself from scratch. I was pretty impressed, it was good for a first try. I've definitely had better, but it was awesome. I did add a little pepper to mine. We had string beans, corn and peas as well. Here is a picture of the main dish!

After I ate I was bored and started drawing a funky picture on snapchat. I'll get to that part in a little bit though. While I was drawing Sam messaged me. I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but we had a bit of a separation for about a year, mainly triggered by me. I got a bit carried away with my feelings and things just became strange and awkward between us because he didn't feel the same. I started to think negatively towards him and recognized that things were a bit out of control on my end. He was busy with school and hardly ever talked to me and so I decided for the sake of our friendship I would cut all contact for whatever amount of time I needed to. I finally decided a week ago that since my feelings for him at this point are gone and finished and I feel I can handle our friendship right it was a good time to contact him and re-friend him on Facebook.

Sam burned himself out at some point during school, I guess last semester and is taking a break. Also true to form he still hates talking on the phone. I'm kind of surprised now that he used to let me call him. He is one of the very few people I've ever voluntarily called. We both hate the phone, so not being able to talk to him that way anymore isn't really a loss in my book. I don't think he is as much on that list of people I'd talk to now anymore anyway. Our personalities just don't go together for phone conversations. I'm looking forward to having a normal friendship with him now, it was just weird before when I had feelings for him.

Anyway, so about that drawing I was talking about. I wanted to do something funky with snapchat and I was originally planning on a rose, but it just became more and more of a manifestation of insanity than anything else...

Yeah, definitely trippy.

The best news of all today by far was that Ronnie's wife is out of jail today! I don't think I've ever talked about her on here, but she is awesome. She was on probation because of some past mistakes that she is clearing up and I guess she failed a drug test ( it was weed ) and had to spend the last month and a half in jail. I'm so happy she is out and I'll definitely talk more about her and Ronnie later. I know it's been a while.

Anyway, that is all for now. :)

Rise & Shine

In case you forgot, Saturday is my day off, which is why I didn't post anything yesterday.

I didn't do much yesterday, I did get to go to the gym though. I got up early, like around 7:30, cooked myself some eggs with cheese and ate them with bread and milk. I got everything ready for the gym, and then got a ride from mom. I then proceeded to do 3 hours of cardio, with some breaks in between. It was so good to go in the morning again, I've really missed it. I'm looking forward to starting that up again regularly. I did cardio yesterday from 9am until half way through noon. I then spent some time at the mall until around two when mom got off work. Oddly enough I decided to go window shopping for skateboards today. I think it'd be fun to learn to use one someday before I become much older. I had no idea they were so expensive though and apparently it isn't very smart to buy the cheap ones. I'll probably never own one because I have a million other things I need first, but it's nice to dream and look.

Anyway, so there isn't much worth mentioning after that. I did finish the Ergo Proxy anime last night. The ending was kind of bizarre, but I still love it and give it a 9/10. I also caught up on GenerikB's Red Dead Redeption play through videos on YouTube. That game seems super cool. I always thought it would be more creepy from the title, but it's about old western type stuff! I'd like to try it someday maybe. Other than this, right before bed I had some vanilla ice cream with oranges. I don't like eating vanilla ice cream alone, I think that is boring.

Today the bishop and his wife also gave talks. I've blanked out what they talked about though. We talked about Christ like love in relief society. Loving people like Jesus loved us isn't always easy. He also taught us to love our enemies. The world today has largely forgotten about this. We need to be more tolerant and hate people less. We listened to a conference talk by Dallan H Oaks And learned a lot about love. We also learned about not always following the ways of the world. What is popular in the world is not always great for us. It is also great to not stop your children from spending time with non LDS people. It is a good thing to open your heart and mind to other people that are of other cultures and religions. The talk also talked about discouraging non marriage co habitation and other relationships that aren't right. Yes, he did talk about discouraging gay marriage and how it's wrong. It isn't right to show hate towards the people though. Being friends with and being kind to gay people is perfectly fine and encouraged. There was an over all message that we need to love one another, not be elitist, and just be more tolerant of people and not hate and persecute. The last thing we talked about in relief society was how we need to stick to our standards and not give into peer pressure. You can have various kinds of friends, but those friends might participate in questionable activities and you don't have to participate in those activities if they are wrong or make you feel bad. It is okay to say no sometimes to your friends. Your real friends won't judge you either for this. Being yourself is the smartest thing.

After church My visiting teaching companion and I did some fast Visiting teaching after church in a small nearby classroom. I have blanked out what we talked about though sadly. Anyway, after this we went to the gym inside the church and had our fourth Sunday feast like we do every month. We had chilli, braedsticks, oranges, cookes, and cupcakes. I kind of like how we kept it simple this time. There is usually a lot more food. The food was pretty good and i sat at a table with 3 other people. One of them was Stacy, I don't remember if I ever mentioned her previously in any of my posts, I've known her my whole life. There was also Whitney, the girl that knows the guy that plays Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter. She is apparently allergic to chilli, so she had to stick with the other stuff. So, after we sat down we talked about stuff we are all allergic to, if we have ever broken or had any bad injuries, and a few other things that don't come to mind though right now.

For reference, I am not allergic to anything but cats, and sometimes latex. I am more allergic to some breeds of cats than others. Sadly black cats are some of the ones I am very allergic to, also male cats. I have also never broken anything, though I did nearly rip out a chunk of my foot once when I stepped into a hole that a basket ball hoop had been in. The hole had jagged cement in it. I've never been to the hospital for any illness or injury in my life.

I went home after we are with Stacy. When I got home I surfed facebook for a half an hour and Twitter as well. Not too long after this we had dinner at home. We had carrots, potatoes, roast beef and salad, it was pretty good! I then proceeded to watch some random YouTube videos that aren't relevant to this post.

I fell asleep later in the day and had a really strange dream that I was riding on top of a car. I think I might have been going from car to car for some reason. I also think that the last car didn't understand why I was on there and they were trying to drive in a way that would make me fall off. They ended up stopping eventually, and I knew I was far away from where mom and dad were and that they were probably worried about me. We ended up at a store or a gas station or something. There might have been both. Anyway, the rest is pretty fuzzy, I think I explained that I was trying to get home and that i was trying to use the cars to do that, but I don't think I meant to take their car as well. Anyway, somehow I ended up staying at a house with this family that was in the car I had been riding on. The house belonged to an older couple and they gave us dinner and stuff. Somehow Tin was there at some point and the family had apparently left or something because they were nowhere in sight. I also remember that I had a phone at 10% and and iPad that I was trying to use to send a message to mom and dad, but for some reason I could see that they were looking for me, but couldn't send any messages. The rest is really vague, I might have woken up at this point. I think I had found a way home and I was going to take it, because I remember some kind of trailer or something that I was excited about, but the family might have taken it and ditched me, I'm not sure about that though. It kind of sucks that it wasn't a completed dream.

That was pretty much what I did the past two days. I'm so ready for the new week to start. I'm going to be pretty much broke until Friday. I'm ready for a new month next week.

Spicy Dancing

I was going to go to the gym this morning, but I just ended up sleeping in instead. I am definitely going to go tomorrow morning no matter what though.

I went to a dance tonight at the institute building. Most of the stuff that happened before that really isn't worth noting. I wore jeans, a white camisole, my black shirt with the white and silver rose, a white headband and black nail polish. I ended up taking off the headband though and actually did something with my hair tonight! I'll just skip a few hours to when I was trying to decide wether or not to wear my glasses to the dance. This was a weird occurrence because I usually hate wearing them. It's not like I hate how they look or anything, they are just distracting and uncomfortable. I usually only wear them to movies. They also mess with my peripheral vision, so I always think hard before wearing them.

I ended up taking a few photos of myself with them on to help me decide. This was the best one.

I ended up deciding not to wear them, I was afraid they would make me dizzy on the dance floor. I came pretty close though! I don't know if I'll feel like wearing them anytime soon again, I guess we will just wait and see.

Around close to 8:30 dad was cooking meat for tacos and preparing other ingredients. Sadly I decided not to wait until the stuff was done. I kind of regret that now, because it was all gone when I got home. Anyway, so dad stopped what he was doing and gave me a ride over to the dance. When I got there I went straight inside and showed the people at the doors that we're giving away wrist bands that I already had one on. I had gotten it from one of the teachers there 3 days ago. I proceeded to enter the dance and look around. Here is a little video I took a few minutes after I got there.

Here is some pictures of the food, Hot Tomales candy, chips, salsa, grapes and fortune cookies. It was a weird combination, I know...I'll admit, I ate more than one share of everything. I had like 5 cups of the candy, I love Hot Tomales, spicy stuff is great.

Here are other random pictures.

The dance was pretty fun, it had a culture theme, though it was pretty simple. There was the food and the flags of the different countries lining the walls. The dance was from 8:30 to 11pm. I only stayed until 10:30 because I didn't feel like making my dad drive late, plus I was getting burned out a little by all the stimulation.

I mostly ate the food and danced. I walked around and looked at all the people that came, but I didn't really talk to anyone and no one talked to me.

Anyway, that was my day. I'm not sure if I'll post tomorrow, Saturday is usually my off day now.

Failed Shortcuts - (PICTURES ARE FIXED)

Last night after I posted I finished watching Hugurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai. I feel so satisfied with the ending of the anime. The anime was really scary in the first season and a lot was explained and the whole set of events in the series finally was resolved at the end of season 2. Here is a summary of what season 1 and 2 is about without spoiling anything.

Season 1:

After moving into the quiet town of Hinamizawa, Maebara Keiichi spends his days blissfully in school often playing games with his local friends. However, appearances can be deceiving. One fateful day, Keiichi stumbles upon news of a murder that had occurred in Hinamizawa. From this point on, horrific events unfold in front of Keiichi, as he soon learns his close friends may not be all that they seem. Based on the amateur mystery game by 07th Expansion, the story is told in a series of different scenarios.

Season 2

Continuing from the first series, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai begins to shed some light on the dark mysteries prevalent in the preceding season. The young group of friends in the town of Hinamizawa continue to enter terrible conflicts with one another in their never ending summer of 1983, often ending with the brutal murder of one of their numbers. Furude Rika, with the help of her spiritual friend Hanyuu, tackles challenges over and over, trying her best to keep their lives from coming to a tragic end. With no end to the torture in sight, Rika must call upon the bonds of friendship and trust among her friends to discover the true villain of this eternal June.

Last night I also gathered together all the photos I didn't have on Flickr and finally uploaded and organized them in albums. I kind of figured since I have a link to Flickr on here I should keep it up to date. I admit I didn't get much sleep last night because of this. I probably got around 5 hours or so.

I really wanted to sleep longer. I was pretty cranky and my patience was used up when I finished last night. I somehow managed to pull myself out of bed thankfully and got ready to go to institute. I wasn't in a bad moo, more like just not in the mood to want to make breakfast. I ended up eating a cookie and some milk for breakfast. I was going to eat a peanut butter and honey sandwich, but decided i needed to save it for later when the afternoon came around.

I wanted to take a different bus route to school where the institute building is today. I usually take one that goes straight from near the house to school, but I wanted to take the bus to the mall and then catch another to school at the transit center as an experiment of time. I wanted to try something new and see if this way was faster. Usually when I take the bus it can take anywhere from 25 to 30 minutes to get to school.

So I took the bus I usually take to go to school and institute, only I took the one that goes in the opposite direction to the south towards the mall and transit center. When I got there I switched to the bus that I THOUGHT was going to school, but I got thrown for a loop! I didn't know it, but the 830 does ALTERNATE routs! It goes by BYU, then back to the transit center, then to UVU, and this repeats. Basically I caught it at the wrong time and had to go through a REALLY LONG bus ride. It took about an hour, but I finally got to UVU.

I headed straight for institute, I was really relieved to finally be off of that bus. I got on the bus around 10:45, and by this time it was 11:41. Lunch Bunch was going on at institute today and I was hungry, when I finally got into the institute building I was meant with a pleasant surprise! I was cold, but today they were having different kinds of soup! I got cheese potato soup, but there was also chicken noodle, taco soup, and one other that I don't remember. Anyway, so they were also giving us salad, rolls, and cream puffs. They didn't have any drinks besides water today sadly.

So I headed off to class in a considerably better mood than I'd been in before, sat down and just ate while I was learning about the succession of kings and other crazy events that happened after King Solomon died, like a couple centuries after... I blank out stuff like this a lot, so sadly I can't give any details.

I headed off to choir, today we worked more on "How Firm A Foundation", and I officially became one of the first sopranos. I can tell I'm going to have my work cut out for me, lucky mom and dad can help me with the kinks in my singing! I didn't do it for a long time before this semester. My voice is still getting accustomed to it again.

After choir they were giving out soup for free after class! I guess they bought too much, so I went ahead and got seconds and thirds of everything because j knew I'd be walking around for a while and probably wouldn't be eating for a while after that. The seconds was chicken noodle soup, everything else was the same.

I noticed that the time for my favorite bus had passed by, so today I had to settle riding back on the same bus I rode on to get there today. When I got to the mall today I looked at studs because I need to get my ears pierced AGAIN for the third time because I went too long without wearing any earrings. I won't make the same mistake again this time. I don't think I kept my old studs in long enough last time anyway, so they didn't heal right. I'm glad I can fix this this time. I'm planning on doing it at Silver Loft again just like last time. I'm getting the same small star studs I got last time, I loved those but I lost them. I won't make that mistake again.

I decided to go to Starbucks after 2 and a half hours of walking around. I walked across the street from the mall and got a small hot chocolate. I wanted to go to the one in Barnes & Noble, but I wasn't wearing my good coat tonight, so I didn't want to walk all the way there because I'd freeze. I've actually never set foot in the Starbucks across the street, I usually only go to the one at Barnes & Noble. It was a nice change and the environment felt pretty nice, I still prefer the other one though.

After I got my hot chocolate I waked through the mall again and headed towards the buses. I was going to go to the gym tonight, but I want to burn another 1000 calories next time I go and I do better at that in the mornings. I didn't feel like being there until 10:30 again tonight anyway because of mom and dad being at choir. I am going to a party at the institute building tomorrow night, so it's s good idea of I just go in the morning so my metabolism is ready for that.

So I caught the bus home, strangely enough the bus seats on this particular bus seemed a lot more squishy, it was so niiiice... The bus driver didn't even make me show him the pass I have, he was cool, he even stopped for people that were late.

I got off of Harmon's because I REALLY didn't want to walk home tonight, I just wasn't prepared. I called dad for a ride home, but he and mom left early tonight. They told me that Laura was going to the store as well soon though, so I called her. She said she wasn't coming for a little while longer, so o decided to stay, walk around and take some pictures! Here are some of tonight's shenanigans.

My favirite brand of ice cream, St, Patricks Day stuff, Kefir (it's like a yogurt smoothie).

My favirite carbonated beverages, and the other two are tea brands I love. I really need to get more tea. :)

I really want the green cups, I also love these water bottles, I really need to get a new one because I lost my good one weeks back in the gym locker room.

Some food items I love, I try not to eat them too often though because of the calories. :)

Some of my favorite chocolate! Also, some suckers I love.

Nail polish, I really need to get more navy blue and glitter.

I want all of these hats, also the place I get 50% of my headbands from. The rest I get from Amazon.

My favorite line of skin care products. Neutrogena is the best!

Just a random rack of socks I liked.

 The good stuff, produce!

Eventually Laura called and asked where I was in the store, but a few seconds after she spotted me. Turns out she had been there for a little while shopping for dinner and she was done. She went through the register and bought everything and we headed out to the car. That is when I spotted the burned out "M" on the Harmon's sign! Haha

Anyway, so we went home and had garlic pasta with chicken and salad. I watched Ergo Proxy ( the anime I was half way done with before the last one I finished) and got through 4 episodes. I'm on episode 20, just a few more to go! Besides this the rest isn't important, just more of my random unimportant pass times.
