Up to the Waterfall

I slept in until 11am and then found out not too soon after that that Laura was taking Natalie and Kayla to some church activity with a few other people and children from the ward. They have these activities every week and they do fun stuff. I don't usually participate, but today it was a hike and I love hiking so I went with them today. I packed a lunch before and so did they and after we were ready we left. We stopped by a neighbors house and picked up someone and then followed the other people to Battle Creek Canyon. It was a lot of fun! Some of us ate lunch before the hike and I ate lunch after the hike. It wasn't too hot and we all had a good time. It was short and sweet. When we got to the waterfall some crazy kid started climbing the wall as well. There is a picture below and I also got video.

After the hike Laura dropped off Natalie and Kayla and we went to the store and got some ice cream for them. I got my own little thing of ice cream.

Nothing much happened after this. I took a nap and the rest isn't important.

This post is a placeholder. I don't know what is going to go here yet, but I need to have these every once in a while for various things.

Soaked

This weekend was simple and wonderful. I spent time playing Runescape and mom, and I went to Costco and got some groceries. it was raining really hard and wen had to run when we got the groceries. I am totally loving all the rain we have been getting lately. I got my patriarchal blessing which was amazing but sadly I can't share anything about that. My parents were there with me and I went to church with them earlier because I didn't want to have to bother coming all the way home from over by UVU. Also today was fast Sunday, but I'm going to fast on another day and I watched some Powerpuff Girls episodes.

Into the Water

I slept in late, got cleaned up and put my swimming suit on. Today was a fun day! When we got to the pool after picking up Kayla's friend I went and got a Mango snow cone. After that I payed for the pool and went inside. I put my stuff in a locker and accidentally spent an extra fifty cents because I forgot you aren't supposed to take the key out before closing the locker a couple of times. While I was at the pool we had pizza and honestly I spent more time out in the sun sun bathing than in the pool. I also spent some time in the freezing cold sprinklers and did some meditation underneath one. The one right below was the one I did the meditating under. I didn't want to give myself hypothermia or something so I made sure to take a hot shower. By this time Laura and all of us were pretty much done after a few hours.

After we were done at the pool we went home and I pretty much played Runescape for the rest of the day. I also realized I spent too much this month and forgot about a once a year $40 fee I have from Vasa Fitness this month. After all my bills this month I'll only have $14 after the 7th. I'll figure something out, but it's kind of stressful. I wish I hadn't been partying it up so much. I am just glad I don't make mistakes like this often.

Summer Bliss

Today was a beautiful day and really fun as well. I started out by taking pictures of the roses in our backyard. I think the yellow ones are my favorite right now. When the orange ones bloom those will probably be the star however. I have always loved orange roses the most. I spent some time just hanging out around the house waiting for my mom to be ready to go shopping after while she did the finances and stuff.

Dillard's was the first place I went to and I got a new pair of pajamas. Mom was looking at other stuff, but later we ended up looking at shoes, skirts, and other clothes. It was a lot of fun. While mom was trying on some stuff I exited the store and went to Famous Footwear. I finally bought those $50 Earth Origins sandals I have wanted for a while. When we were done at the Provo mall I put my new shoes on and took off my tennis shoes.

Mom dropped me off at UVU to go see if my bus pass was ready and so I could walk to Walmart and get some new shorts for summer. I was going to get some new jeans, but I decided that knee shorts are better for the weather. My bus pass ended up not being ready, so I just headed to Walmart.I got two new pairs of shorts, and some new bandannas for the 4th of July.

I used some of the cash I took out at Walmart to ride the bus to the mall and I had lunch. I also went to Claire's and bought a new sleep mask and mirror.

I forgot to save some of my cash for the bus, so I ended up having to get a ride home. The rest of the night was pretty uneventful. I started playing Runescape again tonight though. I am hoping I'll actually have the patience to enjoy it this time around.

Crossing the Threshold

Saturday was okay. I cleaned up and had a peanut butter and orange marmalade sandwich for breakfast with milk. I started watching my favorite youtuber do his marathon charity live stream. FLoBathon (Far Lands or Bust Marathon) is a charity live stream that Kurtjmac my favorite youtuber has every year or so. Sometimes it happens later, but they are usually pretty close. I've been a fan of Kurt for a little over 3 years now. When I subscribed to his channel he only had somewhere around 25k subscribers. I think he has a couple hundred thousand subscribers now. The main show on his channel is called Far Lands or Bust. It's where he is trying to walk to the farlands in minecraft beta 1.7.3. The farlands aren't easy for me to explain so I'll post a video somewhere below. He's been walking in a straight line in minecraft for 4 years as of June 5th. Most of us fans know he probably will never make it because he is probably only 1/15th of the way there now, but we still love listening to his commentary and stuff.

I also took a nap somewhere in the time I was watching and sometimes only listening to his live stream. After watching a little bit more I went upstairs and there were ginger cookies that my sister had made when Kayla's friend was over. While I was eating it my visiting teaching companion came over and I went with her to the house of Whitney, a girl I usually get a ride with to church. She lived in one of the previous houses that Darik and Dylan used to live in. I am happy I finally got to cross the threshold of that house because I've always been curious about it. I think I only saw inside of it once on a Halloween. It is a pretty cool house and my companion, Whitney and I talked about a whole lot of stuff. We talked about what we are up to in life, about the difference between astrology and astronomy, about best friends that we have lost, about the temple and the gospel and about a few other things that don't come to mind right now.

After we left I went home and got another ginger cookie and went back to watching FLoBathon. Kurt was on a break eating for about 20 minutes I'd guess, but he left some cool music on for us all to listen to.

Later we had spaghetti for dinner with garlic toast and I played some Fruit Monsters on Line Play, an app I've taken a liking to lately. It is an avatar chat community and is super cute. Fruit Monsters is a mini game inside Line Play that is a bit like bejeweled. I also went on a walk and listened to some techno earlier as well. That is pretty much all for Saturday.

When I woke up this morning I had pancakes and milk for breakfast. I played Line Play a bit and then went to church. Line Play is a bit ridiculous sometimes. On occasion they'll bombard you with sales on character clothing, gems, and other stuff. I have been a part of so many gaming and chat communities though that I'm pretty much immune to those types of things.

I got a ride to church from Tim (my brother). When I got to church in Sacrament Meeting people talked about stuff like staying strong in the gospel, not going astray, saying prayer often, and always keeping God in heart and mind. They gave advice on never giving into the popular ways of the world, and always relying on God and Jesus every day. Another speaker talked about the atonement and never taking it for granted. They also talked about how everyone can be forgiven of their sins and to never be quick to judge others. Love one another and always be kind. During the last talk I acidentally fell asleep, but in the middle of the talks there was a great musial number. I decided to catch a 20 second clip of the singing.

In the second hour Devin gave a lesson in gospel principles about repentence. It was an awesome lesson and some of us including me gave some stories. I'll save those stories for another time though. In the third hour we had a combined meeting in the chapel and the lesson was about what worship is truly and about how we should not just attend church, but participate more. They also talked about getting more sleep and trying harder to remember what is going on which I felt like was directed at people like me who have a short attention span in church.

After church I got a ride with Stacy and we talked about my introverted side, my blog and some other stuff. When I got home I ate some cookies and watched more of Kurtjmac's charity live stream (day 2) on twitch.tv.  Later I watched some stuff and read some stuff about my favorite tiger at Big Cat Rescue in Florida named Amanda. Amanda is a real feisty tiger with an attitude and she is totally cool. She has been sick and had to have emergency surgery. Here is a video about her and her brothers.

We had some kind of ham and bean soup concoction tonight and I've just been chilling out for the most part. I took a short nap and finished the rest of Kurt's live stream marathon. I guess this is all for today.

I am posting this a little early tonight. :)

Blueberry Shake

I could have gone somewhere today, but I didn't. Monday is a new month and a fresh start for everything. I spent a good few hours finishing and publishing the posts I neglected on here today. Once in a while I'll just start procrastinating and I know I need to stop that. At least unlike the past I don't have posting gaps anymore. I think I've been posting for 6 months regularly now and I've never managed to do that in the past. Not much happened today. i just did a whole bunch of random little things. I took a 3 hour nap, I listened to an episode of the One Piece Podcast, and I had stir fry and later a blueberry shake for dinner.

I also found this story on facebook.

"A married couple in Florida, Tito and Amanda Watts, were arrested a few days ago for selling “golden tickets to heaven” to hundreds of people.
They sold the tickets on the street for $99.99 per ticket, told buyers the tickets were made from solid gold, and that each ticket reserved the buyer a spot in heaven — simply present the ticket at the pearly gates and you’re in.
Tito Watts said in his police statement: "I don’t care what the police say. The tickets are solid gold… And it was Jesus who give them to me behind the KFC and said to sell them so I could get me some money to go to outer space. I met an alien named Stevie who said if I got the cash together he’d take me and my wife on his flying saucer to his planet that’s made entirely of drugs. You should arrest Jesus because he’s the one that gave me the golden tickets and said to sell them. I’m willing to wear a wire and set Jesus up...."
Amanda Watts said in her police statement:" "We just wanted to leave earth and go to space and do drugs. I didn’t do nothing. Tito sold the golden tickets to heaven. I just watched."
Police said they confiscated over $10,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia, and a baby alligator."

I also watched this space documentary.
I had a peanut butter and honey sandwitch for lunch and went out for a walk after I finished updating this blog earlier in the afternoon. Other than this the rest isn't worth typing out.

I'm going to try and do something tomorrow.

Just Missing Misfortune

In case you are wondering where my posts for the last week and a half are don't worry, they'll be up soon. I'm just finishing all of them and doing edits. When I have them up I'll remove this part of the post so it looks like they were always there.

Today I mostly just hung out at home. Actually besides the main event of the day today was pretty boring. Early in the morning I called my dentist to see what I should do about my really cold sensitive tooth. I am really lucky that I just happened to read online one day that cold sensitive teeth are a bad sign or things wouldn't have gone well today. Originally I set up the dentist appointment for Monday, but during an afternoon nap I was having I heard my phone buzz and they told me to come in around 4. I hurried and got my stuff together because it was 3:30 and got a ride from Mom. I was a little nervous because obviously Dr. Perry was worried or suspected something. When I got to the office I waited for a couple of minutes and then an assistant came and got me. I should have gotten his name, he was pretty nice and asked what the trouble with the tooth was. He did a couple of X-rays and then I waited for Dr. Perry to come.

It turns out that my tooth is decaying and cracked, but they can fix it with a root canal probably. I've never had a root canal, so I'm really nervous, but I'm glad I don't have to loose another tooth. The last time I got teeth pulled was back in 2009 I think. I'm not sure if I blogged about it, but if  did I'll link to the post here once I find it. I normally don't talk about my teeth because they make me feel a little self conscious, but I think now that I'm older I'm fine with explaining my situation. Basically I have a genetic breakage that caused me to have no permanent teeth on the top. I think I have most of them on the botton, but on the top I've never had any. Anyone that knew me before the 10th grade knows that I never originally had my two front teeth at all. The genetic malfunction caused the teeth that would have been my front ones to fuse with the ones next to them causing a rather large and obvious gap. The teeth on either side looked like normal teeth and the bone material that I'm pretty sure would have been some of my permanent teeth became part of my deformed left toe. The whole situation is just weird, I know.

Outside of my family I've only shared everything with a few friends including Brooke, Devin, Rebecca, Amanda, Amy, a few of Amy's friends and Darik. Chances those of you who previously were told have forgotten I'm pretty sure. I think Darik saw most of my frustration haha.

I have 8 baby teeth left on the top, so you can understand why I don't want to lose any more. I've lost the two on either side in the front that were fused, and then two more on either side. I used to have all but my two front teeth, but baby teeth really aren't meant to stay, so it's only natural that I've had problems. I actually wear a prosthetic retainer that has fake teeth. Here I'll actually show you a picture. One of the teeth has broken off, but it doesn't really matter. I might have it fixed soon, but not yet. I've had this retainer since the 10th grade I think after I got my braces off. I had my braces for 2 years I think.

WARNING! Very unattractive photo of me below. haha. Here is my retainer first though.

So now you know my secret troubles that I never talk about. I can get oral surgery, but my upper lip has no bones and so not only would I need implants, but I would need to have a bone graft in my upper lip. If I ever decide to do the surgery or when I'll probably crowdfund for it or something because it's going to cost me somewhere around 50k or more. I could never pay for that on my own.

So tomorrow I am going to call the endodontist and schedule my root canal probably. I have no idea how I'm going to pay for it and the crown I'm going to need, but I'll figure it out. For now you will just have to wish me luck because root canals on baby teeth aren't really done that often... I think it'll work out in the end.

When I got home from the dentist I actually ate a slice of chocolate cake. I'm going to make sure to brush my teeth well later of course. Nothing other than the dentist visit happened today. We had veggie burgers for dinner. I personally love veggie burgers a lot. I just played games on my phone, listened to music and the usual stuff after this. Thanks for reading this post,

Fun With Glasses

Today was a busy day! Probably one of the busiest days I've had in weeks! I woke up fairy early and had cranberry spice toast with butter, milk, and eggs with cheese. When I cleaned my room yesterday I put everything together for the gym in advance so all I had to do was get my phone and head out the door. After breakfast I listened to some Japanese music for a bit though while my phone was charging.

When I got to the gym I got my stuff on, filed my water bottle and headed straight for the cycling class. I arrived right before it started and so I was able to do the whole entire 50 minute class. I still remember how hard it was the first time I did it a year ago. Today I managed to keep going for 95% of the class today! My heart was beating loud and when I stopped for water I got a little light headed, but other than that things were great! I really enjoyed it and did 10 minutes on the stair mill afterward.

I debated doing more, but decided to stop there and go to Judy's office to sign the release for for my eye doctor records. I left the gym and headed straight for vocational rehab. When I got there I signed the document and then headed straight for the mall after taking a snap of the new temple and the government buildings while I was waiting for the bus. When I got to the mall I decided to head for the little cafe inside R.C Willey and have a small lunch. I ended up having a corn dog, some fries and a few cookies. The food was simple but great and I really enjoyed looking at their exercise equipment i the store afterward. It looks like their cafe also has a personal pizza, I might try that next time.

Visionworks opened at the mall not to long ago and before I went tin today I went in a few weeks ago. They have a HUGE selection of frames and so i decided to come in again. I love their glasses and decided to get a new pair with the help of Judy and Vocational Rehab. I basically don't have to pay anything V.R will take are of it. After I picked out my desired glasses I set everything up and brought the necessary paperwork to V.R. I didn't want to ride the bus up there again so I called mom who had texted me not long before and I got a ride back up there. After I dropped that off I went home with mom and dad who had just been at the temple and then picked up dog food before they got me.

I was exhausted and ended up taking a nap after I got home for a couple of hours. The rest isn't really important.

Cleaning Up!

Today because I neglected cleaning my really messy room yesterday on Memorial Day I did it tonight. My room was crazy, it had paper and clothes all over the floor. I'll make a guess and say that at least 90% of my clost was on my floor. I was tired of steping on stuff every time I walked out so I just cleaned up today!

Besides this I just played games and random stuff. One interesting thing I did was make a new Nystagmus video. It's been a while since I made a new one!

I am happy to have a clean clutter free room again, it makes me feel more relaxed and it's easier to enjoy my room more. I'm going to organize the stuff in my desk dresser on another day.

Visiting the Passed

Happy Memorial Day! Today I went up to our local cemetery really close to here. I was going to go to the war veterans memorial place at the cemetery with mom but I left before her and lost track of where it was. I ended up browsing the whole cemetery and eventually I got to the big monument. There is a field nearby with a whole bunch of crosses with flags on them. That is the part I've never seen before at the cemetery. I think it might only be there for today, but I'm not sure. It was nice seeing people visit their relatives and bring flowers and stuff. My family like my grandma and grandpa are up at the Provo cemetery and not the one near here. Sadly this year I didn't get to go down there to see their graves like we usually do. I think everyone was busy today.

If the zombie apocalypse was real we'd all be doomed over here. haha.

I wore my headscarf today, the squa one with the silver stars. I didn't feel like fixing my hair as usual so it was a quick fix. I ended up having some fun with it later after I got back home and did some funny headwrap styles. I'll do some some other time again and get pictures.

Later today we had a BBQ for FHE (Family Home Evening) at some person in my ward's house. We talked and had hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cinnamon rolls, rice krispy treats and soda. It was simple but fun and after that I took a walk around the local track a few times. At the BBQ not very many people came, but I got to meet some new people from another ward. I hope we do stuff like hat again some other time, I love BBQs.

Feeling Faint

Saturday wasn't really eventful. I just played games on my phone and started looking even more into the game called Albion Online that I am interested in helping with. I've moderated and bug reported for a game before, so I figure it will be a good idea for me to build on my experience because that is the only thing close to a real job I've ever had. It was a volunteer thing when I did it for Destiny Online, but I really learned a lot helping them. Here is a random video I like from Big Cat Rescue to make up for nothing happening on Saturday.

Today was interesting and started out not to fun actually.I should have gotten a little more sleep last night because a mixture of that, not having breakfast and water in the morning and my hot shower caused me to have a negative reaction. I started feeling faint and things got bright with white spots and I got dizzy after. I've gotten this way during or after a shower, but it was especially bad today. It happens when it is too hot and I am exposed to too much steam or heat. I had to leave for church early today and when I was going out the door I nearly fell over a couple of times. I really wasn't feeling up to par in the morning with the combination of everything but I was determined to go to church. Usually when I feel faint after this situation I'd lie down and eat and drink something but I couldn't do that today. When I got in my rides car I was fine, but everything was still a little bright. I made sure to drink more water when I got to church and I also ate some of my bishops candy and that helped me get through a lot.

Sadly I don't remember what we talked about in church today. I will try harder to get more notes next time. I was feeling a little under the weather still and ended up sleeping through the first hour of Sunday school and half of Relief Society. Normally I don't skip out on class like this, but today was a weird day. When I did get to relief society I got to talk about how I stay strong and keep God in mind all the time and ward off the darkness with a group of people.

Today was Fourth Sunday Feast or as we also call it "Munch and Mingle" Sunday. It was perfect timing for all the stuff I went through today. We had all my favorite, or at least most of my favorite foods! Hummus with Peta bread, crackers and chips with dip, cherry tomatoes, snap peas, and chocolate chip cookies. I loved all of it, but I have a special fondness towards hummus and snap peas. I can finish off snap peas so fast it's crazy. I felt so good after I ate and brought a second plate home with me. When I got home I ended up eating it and watching random youtube videos. The rest is pretty much unimportant. We had dinner and I took a nap and stuff.
