French Caroling

I am going to miss my French class. Madame Christensen was very amazing. I probably could have worked even harder in her class, but things have worked out pretty well for me. Today in our last official day of class before the final on Monday, we did some french caroling. We did it with Dr. Temple, the profess or who is going to be my next French teacher, and I think maybe some of his students too, but I'm not entirely sure.

Songs we sang around the school were a French carol called "Il est ne le divine enfant", the french version of "The First Noel", and the French version of "Oh Come all Ye Faithful". Pardon me if I'm too lazy to look up the names in French. We weren't the best singers together, but I do think we could have been worse really.  We got a little off tune sometimes, but that made if fun for me personally. While we were singing there as actually a snack cart that came by and they let us have snacks. I've seen that around school a couple of times this semester.

It was a really fun activity and we all had laughs and fun. Eventually we had to part ways however.

I should have kept the caroling sheet and took pictures, but sadly I did not.

After I parted ways with everyone I went home.

Tonight I went to another Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert. I didn't get any pictures this year. Dad and I went to Kneaders to eat dinner before. I was hungry and it was very cold outside. I am glad I wore my warm Canada sweatshirt. We had bread bowls, mine was loaded potato soup. I want to have another bread bowl soon. We headed off to the concert and stood in line after this. We had seats on the floor this time at the Conference Center. On our way there we got to give our extra three tickets to some family that desperately wanted them. There was this couple that we originally gave them too first, but they very kindly gave them up to the family behind them. It was super cool.

The guest singer was some Spanish opera singer, I forgot his name. He was an awesome singer. The concert was pretty cool. My favorite part was when "Il est ne le divin enfant" was sung by the choir and the opera singer. I've had it stuck in my head ever since. Another favorite part was when the dancers were dancing with big shining stars in the isles when the choir was singing "Angels From the Realm of Glory" at the end. That was beyond cool and gave me goosebumps.

It was a good day and a good evening tonight. We all had fun. Forgive me if this year's recollection is rushed a bit. I am very tired and have a lot of studying to do for my French final in 4 days. I'm so nervous!
