Harry Potter Party

Tonight Barnes & Noble had a Harry Potter event. I spent a lot of time there before the event. My original plan was that I was going to buy some Harry Potter themed clothes before I went, but I didn't end up finding anything inside of Hot Topic when I went to look. right now they have a good selection of Harry Potter items, but nothing I want to buy right now. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something I was only going to for a couple of hours. I do want to buy something from Hot topic some other time however.  I am too big of a Harry Potter fan to not get something eventually.

Barnes & Noble was fun today. I looked at some French books and even ended up buying a French Grammar book when I was given a 25% off coupon at the Harry Potter party. I looked at pretty much everything, and was tempted to get some Harry Potter tapestry blanket that they ere selling, but passed on that. I can ask for Harry Potter stuff later for Christmas, so no need to get it now. That French Grammar book was necessary however.

I had an Oreo stack dessert and a pizza stuffed pretzel, and latter I had a "I can't believe it's not butterbeer" at the built in Starbucks cafe. I don't know what they put in that, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't coffee or tea. It tasted festive and I loved it. There was no way I was going to pass up that opportunity. That drink was made especially for the Harry Potter event, so of course I got one!

today was cold and rainy and so I am glad that I got to go to the Harry Potter event. There was dancing, fortune telling, coloring and other things like trivia. I loved the trivia the most by far. I think I got second place maybe. I know my team didn't win, though that was only because Team B (we were team C) kept on getting the questions with extra bonus questions attached. I'm sure that was a coincidence. My team probably knew more than the other teams for sure though. That was the last thing I did at the Harry Potter event. Dad came to pick me up and I did more studying for my French exam on Monday.

I am glad I gave myself some time to have fun. Now however, it's back to studying. I have to work hard for my test on Monday!
